Do you have any autistic Remus hcs?
Iâm so glad you asked anon bc I have MANY. Also disclaimer but Iâm drawing a lot from my own experience.
â˘vegetarian because he hates the idea of eating meat and because heâs a picky eater. Food texture bothers him a lot and he prefers to seperate his food so things donât touch.
â˘he wears jumpers a lot because it feels better on his skin than like 90 percent of other fabrics
â˘really struggles to try and fit in so sometimes he makes an uncomfortable amount of eye contact with people heâs not close to
â˘special interest in dark creatures
â˘reads with his finger tracing over the words because if itâs not completely silent itâs a struggle for him to pay attention
â˘he does not know how to act around people crying but he does give very well thought out and compassionate advice
â˘Remusâ self serving ways both coming from being a werewolf and because he has difficulties with understanding other peoples struggles.
â˘constantly casting scent charms because he canât stand certain smells. Which is why he hates divination.
â˘great at pranks because he studiously thinks through all possibilities/ways they could get caught so they can avoid mistakes and getting in trouble
â˘he loves the structure of school and really struggled once he graduated with adapting to adulthood and socialisation outside of his immediate circle of friends
â˘chocolate is his safe food
â˘the only person who can make Remusâ tea exactly how he likes it is Sirius.
â˘collects random shit that he sees around based only on its texture and visual appeal. No one ever touches his collection because it makes Remus upset
â˘he just hates people touching or cleaning his things in general even if they put them in the right places
â˘really likes the lighting at Hogwarts because itâs all candles and fire. He hates lumos and other bright lighting because it overstimulates him. This is why he conjures fire in his hand instead of lumos.
â˘as a child the full moon interrupted his nightly schedule and it would lead to meltdowns. As he got older he got better at managing the overwhelming feeling of having to disrupt his routine, but it still stressed him out a lot and he usually stims to calm down
â˘also comes across as a bit self centred/selfish because when he gets asked question about his life, or when people try to get to know him, he never returns the gesture
