Notes: I thought this would be a fun little twist to the story because everything is going well for everyone. Some of these parts seem repetitive to me so I'm sorry about that, I just wanted to get my point across. Also after this part is posted I might take a break on the story and post some other fic that I have been writing and have more interest in. But I will come back to this at one point and keep righting so this fic isn't discontinued, just put on hold.

141 had left at 4 am that morning, with Kate. Back at the base it was just a normal day for Rose and her recruits. 141 mission have been going smoothly for them so far. Everyone was where they were supposed to be, everything went according to plan, until it didn't. Take was in a safe house nearby telling 141 everything they needed to know and do like always, until it went wrong.
There was a group of Shadow that were exploring the area on their higher ups commands. Making sure that no one was wandering into their base area. Once they had found a cabin in the middle to know where they decided to go and make sure it was clear, because it was still on Graves' property still. Once they had entered, they saw they saw something who shouldn't be there.
141 noticed that Kate wasn't talking over coms for a while. They tried calling out to her and seeing if she would answer, but the line was silent. 141 had cleared out the building, no signs of Graves, but now they were rushing back to the safe house. The door was open, the stuff inside was all scattered around, blood on the ground, two dead shadows, but no sign of Kate.
“Oh you got to be fuckinh kidding.” price said to himself over comms
“Cap what's wrong.” Sopa who was making sure that no one was allowing them back and having their escape clear asked.
“Shit.” you could hear Sopa over comms say,
“Are there any trails?” Gaz asked,
“Negitive.” Ghost spoke up, he had when with Price, he was looking around the safe house to see if there was any outside but couldn't find any trails.
“You got to be kidding.” Gaz said to himself but the comms had picked it up,
“Sadly where not.” Price kinda tried to joke,
“What do we know?” Soap question,
“We reground, head back to Crow’s base, and track down Laswell.” Price had listed
On the way back 141 had decided it might be best to tell Crow that Kate was KIA. They know that Crow and Kate were close and that Crow's stuff could also provide them help. They also thought it would be best if Price had told her instead of the rest of the 141 because Crow had more interactions with Price.
141 had gotten back to Crow’s base the doors had opened for them and allowed them to pull inside. Once they had gotten out of the car they had seen some of Crow’s recruits walking around, Crow was talking to some of her higher ranking recruits. Price had walked up to Crow, she looked up at him.
“Crow, may I speak to you privately."
Rose had dismissed her recruit, and Price walked to her office.
“Didnt know you guys were back, figured that Kate would have said something.” Kate had said as they walked down the hallway,
“Yeah well that's the thing.”
“What is it?” Crow turned to Price,
“Kate is MIA.” Crows eye widen as she head that,
“Do you know where she is?” Crow knew that was a stupied question, but if they did know and didn't go after Kate, Crow knew that she was going to be so pissed at 141.
“Shit,” Crow said under her breath,
“We want her back but we don't have all the accoutrement here to help us find her, so 141 and I are asking you to help.”
“Yeah sure, I'll help.” Crow quickly replied without thinking, she knew that she had to get her wife back no matter what. “Get the rest of your team and meet me in the room that Kate had a meeting with you guys in.”
141 was now in Crow's meeting room with some of Crow's higher up recruits. Price had told Crow the locations of where Kate was last seen, where the base they were on, and the places of the safe house. Crow had ordered her recruits, having them dig up information and places that Kate could be.
Price could see that Crow was more on edge than normal, and she was more commanding than normal. Price didn't think that hearing Kate was KIA would affect Crow like this but it did, it seems like actually like someone who knows Laswell rather than just friends. Price didn't know they were this close as friends. Friends are close but this seems like Crow had lost someone that was really close to her.
Rose was really worried about finding Kate, she wasn't going to stop no matter what. She needs her wife back, and nothing is going to stop her from getting her back, even if that means killing half of her team. Rose knew that was wrong of her but right now in her mind she didn't care, but if she were to sit down and think about it she knew that her decision would quickly change. But now Rose was looking for her wife and nothing can stop her, no sleep, no eating, and no death, there was nothing.
It had been three days since Kate had been kidnaped. Rose and her team had been trying to find ways to find Kate, while 141 was trying to help but they were barely able to do anything. Rose had seemed to be on edge the past three days. Price had thought it would have been a good idea to try and get Rose to calm down a little.
There was a knock on Crow's office door frame, she had looked up to see Price lending against it.
“What do you need John?” Crow questions the Captain.
“I’ll like to talk to you for at least a few secons.” Price had explained, Crow just pointed to the chair that was infront of her desk.
“I noticels that you have been on edge these last few days,and I know why that is…we all are but I think that you need a break. You are overworking yourself.” Price had tried to explain to Crow but Crow only seemed to get more annoyed at that.
“Im fine. I know my limits and I'm not pushing any of them.” Rose knew that she was lying to the Captain and herself.
“I know but it's really not that good. You havent come out of your office and if you to it only to go to that meeting room.”
“I know you are, but at some point you need to stop. I know that, and I have been in your spot before.”
“I dont need to know your sob story, Price. I'm trying to get Kate back. The person that helped get you here, has helped you on all your missions and more. Im not resting until she is back”
“JOHN YOU HEARD ME I'M NOT STOPPING NO MATTER UNTIL I GET MY WIFE BACK IM NOT STOPPING.”
“Wife..?” Price had a question, he knew that Kate was married and was married to a woman, Kate would share some story with him about her. But he had never met her wife.
“Just get out of my office.” Crow had said, Price knew that he had pushed his presents for too long after the outbrest.
