if youre ever confused about why preboot!jason does something or acts in a certain way i ask you to consider that hes like 18 and super duper suicidal

“jasons methods in uth werent sustainable” he didnt intend to sustain them

“jasons a hypocrite and his motives are contradictory” teenagers arent known for being particularly rational

“jason didnt plan for the long term effects and power vacuum left by his takeover” jason didnt plan for the long term, Full Stop

“why does jason do the whole uth confrontation instead of just killing the joker” hes 18 and he wants his dad to choose him

“if jason is trying to reach out to people why is he such an asshole” he is reaching out to get them to kill him

“its egotistical for jason to think his approach is the only right one” have you met a teenage boy. like ever

i could go on but you get the point. if one questions preboot!jason todd then one must consider the fact that hes supposed to be drinking buzzballz under a bridge (or lowkey just jumping off of it) and instead hes dismantling a criminal network and replacing its leader with himself

i should note i was not being totally serious while writing this guys like this was directly motivated by a tweet that pissed me off like im so tired of hearing these arguments in general cause theyre Stupid and half of them make no sense if youve read a single comic ever its sooo

but anyway i am aware theres more context and better arguments to make in response it just irritates me because even without the context of jasons moral philosophy, his trauma, war games, oyl, etc, these arguments are still so easily refuted by the fact hes a suicidal teenager so no duh hes childish no duh hes mean no duh hes Like That, can we get some new topics please

Not wanting to have sex is NOT a problem. It doesn’t matter if you are asexual or allo, there is nothing wrong with not wanting sex. It’s just an activity. That’d be like saying that if you don’t like soccer, you need to go to soccer therapy to figure out why you dislike it and figure out how to like it because it’s for your own good.
