Thought this was about the programming language and genuinely was unconfused until I read "the owner ". Which. Yes. This is what I think about programming languages and coding after my 4-year degree that exposed me to it.
Mean python. Boo. He tries to kill me.
i just got the "see where your blood has gone!" email from giving blood but it glitched and just showed me my current location. which. theyre not wrong. that is where most of my blood is
Dhekiye dhaka mukki na kare, ab pradhan ka resignation mila hai. agla Nirmala tai ki bari, phir ethanol wale ki. dhere dhere apni requests dale. agar time mila, toh nepal aur indian gen z mil kar neighbors ko help kar denge.
being weird and full of love can save you
and it might save those around you, too
"Yeh sab protest karne say kuch nahi hota"
"Nothing will change"
"Speaking up doesn't matter, just learn to accept it"
Gen Z, I am so proud. I love you. I love you for always defying norms. They call us difficult, too sensitive, too opinionated. Now, we have shown them what a spine looks like. This is what a victory feels like. DHARMENDRA PRADHAN FINALLY RESIGNS WITH THE BLOOD OF COUNTLESS STUDENTS IN HAND.
We have done this. Done this without the support of traditional media. But we must remember one win for democracy is not enough. I wish the students who suffered so much because of this issue, find a better future, and I wish those who are no more with us, find peace.
Let's remember, this is just the start of questioning. Economy is still falling, Manipur is still burning, farmers are still dying. Countless questions, we have to keep asking till they're bound to reply.
I thank sincerely all those who attended the protest, those who faced police brutality. Thank you. Thank you for doing this.
And finally, I'd like to appreciate Abhijeet Dipke. You might not support him, or agree with him, but you must acknowledge that he left his luxurious life in America, KNOWING he could've been arrested, just to start something like this in India. Yes it started with him but was carried on by the people, still I have to respect someone who could've chosen to keep this a satire, but somebody who chose accountability.
Thank You Students, Protestors, and thank you Babasaheb for the constitution. Thank you, India.
Yours sincerely,
A student, an Indian, a humanist.
i would also like to bring attention to some other major protests happening across India. I will attempt to make a separate, long-form post on each after i have done more research, but for now:
Manipur protest: Manipur, one of India’s northeastern states, has witnessed violent ethnic conflict between the majority Meitei community and the minority tribal Kuki community since 3 May 2023. Protests are ongoing.
Ken-Betwa River Link Project protest: Tribal families affected by the Ken-Betwa river-linking project launched a 'Chita Andolan' (funeral pyre protest). Led primarily by tribal women, the protest has been underway since July 3 on the banks of the Barana river near Kupi village. The agitation opposed the Ken-Betwa river-linking project and other development works. Their leader, Amit Bhatnagar is on the 18th day of his hunger strike. He is still in the ICU at Madhya Pradesh’s Chhattarpur District Hospital, where he was admitted on July 19. Though he was to be discharged yesterday morning, hospital authorities have not yet permitted his discharge.
Karnataka AI Township Land Acquisition protest: Greater Bengaluru Integrated Township (GBIT) is being developed across Bidadi and Harohalli, roughly 40 km from Bengaluru, spread over nearly 9,600 acres. This will displace farmers.
Nakti demolition drive protest: Residents of Nakti village, whose houses were demolished during an anti-encroachment drive for the proposed MLA colony, staged a protest at the Raipur Collectorate on Wednesday, demanding rehabilitation and reconstruction of their homes.
Amazon Data Centre Protest: Several hundred people staged a protest against a proposed data centre of Amazon in Balkum area of Thane city. It would pose an environmental threat, create noise pollution and consume large amounts of water and electricity. The data centre, planned on a 53-acre plot, will require at least 12 million litres of water every day besides "unlimited electricity". It was also apprehended that it would generate continuous noise, posing a health risk as large residential complexes, five schools and three hospitals including a children's hospital are located within its one km radius.

to all the non-delhi residents/people who can't join the protest for xyz reason, who are feeling helpless and guilty and don't know what to do: spread the word.
no, seriously, spread the word. there is so much misinformation out there, partly due to the useless indian media channels who are calling protestors fighting for a chance to be heard "terrorists". they're saying that the protestors are committing brutality (like throwing stones) against the police when it is the opposite.
its a police using teargas and batons against teenagers, women and literal children. they're ripping the clothes of the women. people are badly injured. all because our corrupt coward "education" minister cannot take accountability for paper leak which caused over 20 deaths by suicide.
some are trying to derail the protests, calling the protestors "anti-national" and but you have to do your part in ensuring that this revolution isn't over until dharmendra pradhan resigns and the youth of india are heard and acknowledged. it will save the future of the students who are currently preparing/will prepare for similar exams.
spread the videos of the police brutality (save them if you can), write emails to the pmo, and share as much info as you can about the protest; how and why it is happening. speak up; online and also in real life, translate posts/videos, make your own. correct and educate people who are still against this movement. don't let this die out until our government finally listens to its citizens.
don't stop making noise.
There was a time when Lal Bahadur Shastri resigned from his post of railway minister in 1956 because of a railway accident in Tamil Nadu where 140 passengers died.
He felt responsible for those people who lost their lives because he wanted to be accountable to his responsibility.
Ek wo din tha aur ek aaj ka din hai.
This cowardly pathetic education minister Dharmendra Pradhan is refusing to resign even after the NEET paper leak, so many deaths of students – that are STILL HAPPENING btw – due to this, and the biggest scientist-reformer of the country is on a hunger strike unto death!?!?!?
And if you are not dropping your stupid political biases and fucking supporting this cause then you're part of the problem.
Just saw a devastating video. And there's this line
What doesnt kill you will never stop trying.
Fucking hell, if that isn't what transphobia feels like in today's world.
the year is 2035. the new beauty standard is for women to cut their ears off, as ears are a masculine trait which make the face look too big and hearing isnt necessary as it doesnt align with being demure. evil feminists say perhaps this is unnecessary and ears are natural. women are agressively proclaiming they are cutting their ears off due to sensory issues
in less than three years we will have adults born in the 2000’s
the funny thing about this is that both people born in the 2000s are reblogging this freaking out because they arent ready to be adults and people who were born before the 2000s are freaking out about how they feel old and that it cant be happening because all people born in the 2000s are like 4
