Currently thinking about how I often fail to communicate my boundaries or confront people that have hurt me, and how I often use the excuse of "wanting to be a peacemaker" to describe why I don't want to be the possible cause of someone else's bad feelings. But peacemaking goes two ways. Continuing to sit and rot in my own discomfort and anguish is NOT making peace. It is actively denying myself peace. Being a peacemaker means making peace for both parties. Interesting thought
