When you have been sick for a solid week and all you can do is watch the Olympics and stare at your skis and wish you were outside training your heart out! That's been my life for the past week or so, even while I was away at work for the last couple days out of town. I feel so much better today, but not even close to 100%. I can't wait to be on my feet again and training for the upcoming season and for my road to Kazakhstan! But this was a good break and a good reminder of where I want to go; It helped center my thoughts and priorities! The ultimate slefie! Well y'all, it's been a fabulous 22 years! I can't believe I have that many years under my belt! It is now that I feel like I can have the most impact and start shaping the world around me! I can't wait to start my journey to my future with all of you! My birthday is August 6th and I would like you all to come celebrate with me! I'd like to have a birthday fundraiser for my amazing event that is coming up in January in Kazakhstan: The World University Games! Saturday, the 6th, will be a fun day! Sometimes you just gotta know when to holster those guns! I felt tire the last couple of day so I took a 24 hour window off from any training so I could get some rest. Now I'm feeling tip top after my agility workout that I did today! Now I can get back on track to achieving my physical, mental, and emotional goals since I balanced myself. that worldly goal is also back on since I was able to recognize an imbalance! Here we come world! I'm ready for any challenge now! What a good and hard 19k roll yesterday! What a hill it was! I think I found the groomer, all uphill, trail that every nordic skier needs! (On pavement of course!) Half of my mind wanted to just go easy and not work for it, but something pushed me to get out and go! I couldn't tell you what it was, but I think I got a little push from the wind! Had a great couple of days; even though I'm out for work I'm still trying to get out when I can sneak in the time! I've had some great workouts with my co-workers! Just keep going, don't let excuses keep you down! Work hard and don't spend too much time wasting your day away, get out and do what you can then rest! Resting first can consume you. What a great day to do a pyramid workout: 1*2*3*3*2*1 minutes at a high tempo. It felt good, but also kicked my butt and made me understand that I have a long way to go, but a clear goal ahead of me for this winter! Here I come World University Games!
