Letvus Airbase

*The Letvus airbase had always been an enigma to me. Carved out from a mountain and looming over the major city of Cinfras. It is the hub of air travel in all the provinces, yet it’s entrances and pathways are hard to find for first timers. And the Guild Hall, it flew the banners of whichever guild was the most influential at the time, remaining loyal to none. I wondered who’s it is this time…*

*Taking a break to feel the dawn air was quite refreshing. Fighting my way through Rodoroc was not desirable. I’ll sit here for a bit longer. I’ve still got quite some time before my scheduled ship.*

*P.S I heard there was a festival in Detlas, hopefully this time I can enjoy it rather than stand guard the whole time, or worse, like that one time I was sent out to gather 800 ore pieces…*

The night in Relos city was louder than the days of other cities I been to. Whistles of steam echoed from each corner and the low creaks and groans of metal filled every crevice of this cliffside settlement.

The lights from windows illuminated the streets more so than the street lamps. And not a wisp of the crisp night air I had gotten used to could be felt, instead just steam and the smell of burnt charcoal, trapped in that wind shielded cove.

Straight metal bridges and paths connected each layer to this city, each indent filled with puddles of soot and dried oil packed down from years of use.

I felt out of place, with my ragged cloak and leather pack, lugging a few small catches from the nearby beach to sell. Though, it’s good to know that there was always a replacement leg around the corner if I were to ever need one.

Character reference, Elowynn.

One of my OCs that’s gone through the most iterations together with another OC, Elliot. I could never settle on a design, nor could I settle on a version for his clothing. There are a lot of artworks, some of which I’ve posted, that ALL SHOW HIM WITH A DIFFERENT DESIGN.

I think I’ve got something that can be used as a basic reference, buuuut I’m going to make him have a wide wardrobe :3 (don’t have to decide on one clothing design now do we? >:3 )

He is based in a game I play called Wynncraft, and the creature doodles on the side are some native creatures of an area that I WIL NOT disclose for spoiler’s sake :D

His pets! LEFT : Golden Wybel, one variant of the scorches, Wybels. He picked up his wybel during an adventure once, when the little fella was getting kept by a group of illegal poachers that Elowynn helped kil- I mean bring to justice!

RIGHT: Royal Kantri Calf. A lesser known species located in a desolate land known as the (REDACTED). During a special mission, Elowynn picked up this small creature after they kept following him around.

Now, about the characters! :D

They’re both OCs based in a game called Wynncraft

Orion, was a very old character that I had trouble developing in the past. (Finally have a design for him 😭)He is a renowned mage and a leading researcher in ‘light magic and it’s application in healing and curing corruption and decay’ based on Mage island.

He was once a trouble student in the renowned magic academy, Grookwarts, which eventually led to his expulsion. His following years consisted of adventuring in hopes of progressing his magical knowledge. It was only when he went to Efilim, a town of outcast elves, when he finally progressed his magic. From the Elves he learnt of light magic, healing and more, delving deep into the old magic and also ‘The Light’ that the Elves would teach. Years later he returned to Mage island becoming one of the most powerful Lightbender mages there. He often visits his Elven friends when he gets work leave! :D

Seelie, is a new character that I created for this particular class in the game, her family and her were once farmers located in the upper canyons of Rymek. One day, a Cockatrice flew to their village looking to nest. Seelie was one of few who tried to fight back against the sudden appearance of the creature.

It was in this fight that she lost her right arm, one of her last memories before getting petrified was the looming form of the Cockatrice.

Years later, a burst of regime magic freed her from petrification, awakening from the stoney prison she was met with an abandoned village and an empty nest. Only an old wand and a map was left before her marking out a location called time valley.

She now travels the lands hoping to find her family and fellow villagers, find out what happened with the Cockatrice and also figure out just how she was freed from petrification.

Side note: this was what Orion looked like nearly three years ago. I couldn’t work out a design or clothing that fit him

Character doodle page! Or as I like to call it, a ✨ Doodle Medley ✨

Been trying to use more saturated colours and it’s really fun! :D a little out of my usual comfort zone but it’s been an interesting experience.

Character is Elowynn, who originated from the same design s Elliot (another OC) but they just developed so separately and now they’re both OCs! :D

Elowynn is a veteran adventurer who’s a lil bit too frivolous in his spendings sometimes. And is always well dressed, especially in town. He likes to act cheerful and carefree, though he cannot help but be cynical and uptight.

He’s based in a game call Wynncraft and the fluffy creature is a Golden Wybel :3

Ever have two characters develop from the same character?? Well here I am. Finally finished an updated design for this character! They do look very similar to another character I have, Elliot, which is because both of them were originally the same character.

They ended up developing very differently in personality and have different settings soooo I thought I’d make some updated design to differentiate them more.

Now very brief background:

Elowynn is a former adventurer who “retired” (he tells people that) after a deadly job that paid them very well. (Even better since he was the sole survivor of the party).

He is highly cynical and likes to act cheerful. They now spend most of their time in the peaceful large cities trying their hand at earning through auctions.

Though he claims to have retired he still occasionally goes out and does special missions. Being one of the more experienced adventurers often gets him special quests.

Exam season doodle yay!

Yellow : Lyriel my dnd character, -2 STR -2 CON Warlock. But hey they got +5 CHA!

Purple : Elliot, been working on a large project featuring them, that’s why they’re spoilered. An unwilling mercenary in a post-apocalyptic setting.

Red : (name is a work in progress) my Baldur’s gate 3 character, they turned out pretty fun!

Once someone tagged art that I made with "woah" and I think about it at least once a week. Someone else said "oh neat" once. Someone else WROTE A WHOLE DAMN POEM IN THE COMMENTS. Anyways even just one word can change how someone sees their art. You don't even have to think about it too hard. You could put a keyboard smash and I'd probably cry from joy.

I'm also trying hard to interact more, I understand that it's hard to break away from opening your phone and being in Content Consumption Mode.

Hazbin hotel OC. I’m a fan of all the contrast between the bright, saturated and dark colours throughout the show so I had to try use it!

Something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. Drawing weapons!

A bit different form my usual character designs but can’t have my fantasy adventurers go around without a trusty weapon now, right?

These are some weapon practice designs, the lore is based off of in game weapons from Wynncraft which is an MMORPG in Minecraft, so all the weapons are quite pixelated in-game.
