Summary: Avyra discovers she’s been brought to King Suguru’s kingdom under an arranged political marriage she was never informed about. Still never met him until the late-night incident happened.
(YOU)Avyra: A-vre-e-ya
Lady Nivara: Knee-ver-e-uh
"What dress size do you wear?"
I stared.
"...pardon?"
Mistress Nobara remained perfectly calm.
"Your dress size, Your Highness."
"I heard the question."
Lady Nivara suddenly became fascinated by the fireplace.
Traitor. I folded my arms.
"I arrive in a foreign kingdom, nobody tells me why I'm here, the king refuses to meet me, and your first priority is my wardrobe?".
"It is one of several priorities."
Mistress Nobara made a note in her little book.
"I shall estimate, then."
"You shall not."
The woman paused.
"Very well. We can revisit the matter later."
Somehow that felt worse.
I watched as Nobara finished writing before closing the notebook. "Will there be anything else?"
"Yes."
Mistress Nobara waited.
"Why do I need new dresses?"
Another pause.
A small one.
But enough for me to notice. "Because His Majesty requested them."
That immediately raised more questions. "Why?, I was not informed."
Mistress Nobara and Lady Nivara looked at each other. "Let me talk to her, and we can do this tomorrow. Thank you."
I narrowed my eyes at both of them. Completely lost on what there could be to talk about.
The woman looked entirely sincere, as if noticing I was really clueless.
Which somehow made the answer more suspicious. After another bow, Mistress Nobara excused herself and departed. The door closed behind her. Silence returned. I turned towards Lady Nivara.
"What was that?"
"Avyra"
"You don't sound surprised."
"Sit down. I hate to be the one to do this"
I groaned dramatically and collapsed backward onto the nearest sofa. My dress is feeling tighter than usual, and my body is starting to heat up.
"The reason why we are here is because we are staying here."
"That much is obvious."
"Not like that. It's permanent; your parents decided to send you here for your protection against the East Kingdom. But it was on one condition."
Lady Nivara sat nervously in the chair beside the window.
"What was it?" The answer was becoming clear as day, but I wanted to hear her say it.
The thought lingered.
The attack.
My parents.
The rushed journey.
King Suguru.
The mysterious preparations.
None of it made sense. Every answer leading up to this was buried beneath another question.
"A marriage."
Silence.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. A marriage. An arranged marriage. It was now making all sense. About the dress fitting and no date to leave.
The room suddenly felt much smaller
The sea roared beyond the windows. Dark waves crashed endlessly against the cliffs below.
Unable to sit still, I got up in disbelief.
"Avyra. Please."
"How could you? How could you not tell me?" I yelled at her. Lady Nivara could only look at me, knowing the damage she had caused. I sat back down, looking at the burning fireplace. "I'm getting married to someone have never met before."
Lady Nivara moved closer to me. "Our kingdom was destabilized. Your survival became a priority. An alliance became necessary. Your parents had no choice."
"An alliance," I repeated slowly.
"Yes."
"With marriage."
"Yes."
"So I’m being married off."
Lady Nivara corrected gently.
"A political union."
"That is the same sentence wearing a nicer corset."
She didn't disagree.
The room felt colder. I stepped back, pacing once toward the window. Outside, the ocean slammed against black stone cliffs like it was angry at being ignored.
"Where is he?" I asked suddenly. Lady Nivara finally spoke again. "Does he know?" "His Majesty agreed to the terms." That stopped everything. Avyra turned. "...He agreed." "Yes." "So I am not just being sent here."
A pause.
"I am being accepted." Silence stretched. "Then I want to meet him." Lady Nivara nodded. "It will be arranged." "I want to meet him now."
"Later. Right now, you need to rest. It's getting late, and everyone is heading to bed."
"Ok." I turned to head to the bed. Not even caring to change or take a bath. "Goodnight Avyra, please know I am sorry." I ignored her and simply turned my body around to face the opposite door.
Lady Nivara left. A soft close of the door.
After some time, I got up once I realized night had fallen, and I could see the stars peeking in from the window. I grabbed a white floor-length night gown and a sheer cover-up to explore the halls. Grabbing a candle to help light the way around
I noticed a huge balcony at the end of a random hallway and decided to check the lookout.
The night air greeted me immediately.
Cold.
Sharp.
Filled with salt from the ocean.
The moon hung low above the water, painting a silver lining across the waves.
For a few minutes, I simply stood there.
Breathing.
Thinking.
Missing home.
An ache settled in my chest.
Wondering if my parents were okay, wondering how they couldn't tell me the news, if they were okay. If I were going to be okay.
A sudden movement below caught her attention.
I leaned over the stone railing. Several figures crossed the courtyard.
Soldiers.
At least a dozen. Moving quickly. Purposefully. Toward one of the castle's lower entrances. Curiosity immediately replaced sadness. Where soldiers went, interesting things usually followed. I watched them get into a protective circle. Then another figure emerged from the shadows.
A single man. Tall. Broad-shouldered. Dressed entirely in black.
Unlike the soldiers, he walked alone. No guards. No attendants.
Yet every person he passed stepped aside immediately. Not out of fear. Out of respect. The man stopped near the center of the courtyard. For a moment he simply stood there.
Then another guy came battered up and bloody. He was thrown into the middle.
However my attention was cuaght on the man standing. Is this the king?
The moonlight caught silver in his dark hair.
Something about him felt...
different.
Like standing too close to a storm
I watched as a soldier came up to the battered guy and threw another punch before pulling out his sword.
I frowned.
Then the man looked up.
Directly at me.
I felt my breath get caught.
The distance between them should have made it impossible. Yet I knew. Absolutely knew. He was looking straight at the balcony. Straight at me. Neither moved.
One pause.
Two.
Three.
Then he inclined his head. A small gesture. Polite. Almost formal.
Before turning away and demanding orders from the soldiers. The soliders imply listened and disappeared into the castle with the battered guy.
I remained frozen at the railing.
M heart beat far too quickly.
A moment later, I heard a bunch of doors opening.
I took off running down the hallway. I don't know what I was running from them? him? the night? I just kept running into I found another hallway filled with the same painings I saw ealrier. Then I saw it.
Dark clothes.
Dark eyes.
Silver in his hair.
The same man in the courtyard was in this painting. My suspicion was right.
I saw the king. As I was stuck in shock. I heard more footsteps following. I was in fight mode and didn't move this time. Turning around to face the footsteps coming.
As they continued, I felt another breath get caught in my throat as he stepped through the threshold. He looked at me in shock, and we stared at each other just like we did in the courtyard.
I wanted to say something, but felt something was wrong. I took off again, back to my room. Fear rising in my throat and curiosity. I lay back down and thought for a while. Processing what just happened.
As I was thinking, I got sleepy and decided to tell Lady Nivara all that had happened. I allowed my body to rest and go to sleep.
I hope you enjoyed chapter 2! This took a long time because I don't want any plot holes. But I am so excited for the rest of this series. I can barely contain the chapters about it. Thank you, and let me know how much you liked it-S.

Chapter 1: Here Comes The Bride
summary: This is am intro chapter to the new series Daylight. Can two kingdoms come together? This chapter Avyra is taken to the palace, but no king and doesn't know the reason why?
Avyra: A-vre-e-ya
Lady Nivara: Knee-ver-e-uh
The first thing Avyra noticed was the quiet.
Not the peaceful kind she remembered from her family's gardens at dawn, or the quietness during coffee time in palace, where birds sang from the hedges and servants chatted while preparing the day. This silence felt different. Heavy. uneasy.
It pressed against the carriage windows becoming a overwheleming feeling as they crossed the border into King Suguru's territory.
Avyra shifted on the velvet seat and glanced outside. The villages they passed looked prosperous enough. Stone houses stood in neat rows, market stalls displayed colorful fabrics and fresh produce, and the roads were cleaner than any she had ever seen.
Yet everyone who lingered was dead. Literally dead.
"This was in your parent's wish. I wouldn't do this if I didn't trust their desicion. It's the best one for our kingdom."
Looking at Lady Nivara, "I know and I don't want wish to talk about this, but have you heard from Dr.Lin at all? Any updates on my parents."
"No."
Turning to look out the window as the trees start to clump together, a sign that means getting closer to the palace. To him.
"You're supposed to be comforting me."
"I'm supposed to ensure you arrive safely and talk business."
"Those are not the same things."
"No."
Avyra stared out the window again.
Ever since the attack, everyone had become frustratingly cautious and hopeless.
People barley left chamers, the village, meetings have stopped, and servants atrted whispering when they thought nobody was listening, and no body knew what to do once the king and queen fell under.
Everyone became hopeless.
Nobody would truly tell me exactly what had happened or why I had to suddenly leave home.
Only that I would be safer here.
Safer with King Suguru.
The name alone was enough to make people uncomfortable. Stories about him existed in every kingdom. Some had said he had never lost a battle or a war. Others claimed he could see through souls with a single glance.
One particularly dramatic tale insisted he'd once forced an entire army to surrender simply by appearing on the battlefield. Using his "vampire" magic.
I didn't believe half of them.
Still, the fact that nobody could agree on which tales were true was unsettling. "Have you met him?" I asked. Lady Nivara looked up from her lap.
"The king?"
"Obviously."
"Only a couple since the attack and this arrangment."
"And?"
"And what?"
"What is he like?"
The older woman returned her attenion back to her lap.
"He's the king for a reason."
"That isn't helpful."
"It's accurate."
Avyra sighed.
The castle appeared just before sunset. At first she mistook it for part of the cliffs. Dark stones rose from the coastline itself, towering above crashing waves below. The fortress looked ancient. Even the sea appeared darker around it.
Massive.
Unmovable.
I found myself sitting straighter. No tale she'd heard had prepared her for this. As the gates opened, the carriage rolled into a vast courtyard lined with soldiers in black armor.
Not one moved.
The carriage stopped. A servant opened the door. Cold air swept inside. "My lady," he said. I stepped out. Hundreds of eyes followed her. The realization nearly made her stumble. Servants. Guards. Officials. They all watched in complete silence.
Waiting.
For what? She wasn't entirely sure. Lady Nivara emerged beside her. "Remember your manners." "I always have manners." Lady Nivara raised an eyebrow.
I corrected myself. "Most of the time." They walked into the castle. The castle's interior was even stranger.
Long hallways stretched beneath high ceilings. Tall glass windows allowed pale afternoon light to spill across black stone floors. Vines growing from the inside. Portraits lined the walls.
Generations of Kings stared down from gilded frames. Each looked more intimidating than the last. The deeper they went into the castle, the quieter it became. Our footsteps echoed.
At one point, I realized we hadn't passed a single servant in several minutes. It felt less like entering a home and more like entering death.
My room, however, was surprisingly beautiful.
A suite larger than my family's entire west wing. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the sea. Bookshelves occupied one wall. A fireplace crackled gently in the corner. Fresh flowers decorated every surface. For the first time that day, I relaxed. Only a little.
"At least someone considered the possibility I enjoy sunlight."
Lady Nivara inspected the room. "It appears they've made considerable preparations." Avyra walked toward the window. Far below, waves crashed against jagged rocks.
The view was breathtaking.
And lonely.
Very lonely.
The realization struck harder than I had expected. This wasn't a visit. I wasn't staying for a week. Or a month. My parents hadn't given me a return date.
The thought settled heavily in my chest. A knock interrupted my thoughts. Three sharp taps. A servant entered. Unlike the others, she appeared older and carried herself with quiet confidence.
She offered a respectful bow.
"Your Highness."
"Hello."
"I am Mistress Nobra. His Majesty has assigned me to oversee your accommodations."
Assigned. Interesting. Not welcomed. Assigned.
I look at Lady Nivara to make a face and she smiled at. A reminder to be nice.
I smiled politely. "Thank you." Mistress Nobara nodded.
"If there is anything you require, you need only ask."
"Actually, there is."
The woman waited. I asked, "I would like to know when I meet the king." A brief pause.
"So would most people."
Avyra blinked. Mistress Nobara's expression never changed.
Was that a joke?
Before I could decide, the woman continued.
"His Majesty's schedule is demanding." ,"That's a no, then." "It is a 'not yet.'".
"You can be dismissed."
"Avyra", Lady Nivara looked at me.
"I can't leave just yet, Your Highness." Mistress Nobara glanced toward a small notebook in her hands.
Then she frowned slightly. As though noticing something she had forgotten. "There is one more matter that requires immediate attention."
"What matter?"
The woman flipped through her small notebook.
"Preparations."
"For what?"
Mistress Nobara looked up and at Lady Nivara as she looked anywhere else, but us.
Her expression remained perfectly neutral.
"Your Highness..." Then she asked me a question that made absolutely no sense.
"What dress size do you wear?"
AHHH I hope you enjoyed chapter 1! This was so exiciting for me and I have so many ideas. Ready for chapter 2?- S

Breathing in the dark, lying on its side
The ruins of the day painted with a scar And the more I straighten out, the less it wants to try
The feelings start to rot, one wink at a time
It was just supposed to be a sleepover, but you have been hiding under the porch for about 20 minutes now. Trying to calm down and breathe quietly was difficult enough. Hearing their lingering footsteps and smelling cigarettes just made you want to cry and throw up. They took all the phones, turned the lights off, and you are in the middle of the woods in a cabin.
AHHHHHHH
Head quickly looking up to see the proch lines and spider webs. That could be Emma or Yochi. How many of them were still inside?. It wasn't supposed to be like this. It was just a sleepover, and all you and your friends wanted to do was have fun. How the fuck it turned into seeing 4 of your friends get slashed and now playing a fucked up version of hide and seek, you don't know. It all happened so quick.
I have to get out. They will find me here at some point, you thought to yourself while looking down at some of the cuts you have got recived earlier trying to run and fight. Or maybe I will bleed to death and then they will find my body. I'm running out of time. Keeping this in mind, you slowly crawled towards the edge of the porch and poked your head out a little bit; trying to see if you could see any of them outside.
Oh-oh, forgiving who you are, for what you stand to gain. Just know that if you hide, it doesn't go away. When you get out of bed, don't end up stranded Horrified with each stone on the stage, my little dark age
Picking through the cards, knowing what's nearby
You were looking around outside. It's quiet. Almost too quiet. As you were looking for a possible escape, you spotted Lori's keys in the grass, right next to her car. This could be a way out. Wait. What if they're lurking or waiting. They know how many people there are here tonight and there is too many of them against me. Running wouldn't make sense, it would another 4 miles before you would meet the next person, it will be shorter in the car. After taking another look and fidning no body. You started to slowly crawl out, and once you truly realized it was safe enough, you took off running.
Grabbing the keys from the grass spot, you went to the back of the car to be extra safe. Carefully turning around to the driver side door. Making sure to make no sound or even allow them to hear you breathing. Getting the key ready to be quick since the car will sound. Looking once more, you wasted no time unlocking the door and getting in. Then locking the doors back.
The carvings on the face say they find it hard.
And the engine's failed again, all limits disguise.
The humor's not the same, coming from denial.
YES YES, thinking you were in the clear, but the moment was short-lived when the car started to make noise and wouldn't turn on. Trying it again and it still wouldn't turn on.
"No, no, no no. Please don't do this to me. No no". You kept saying while trying to turn the car on. All you could do it sit there, just helpless. Noticing once more how quite it has been. Something is wrong. There's no screams and the footsteps have gone silent. I need to get out and just run. Wanting to be safe, you decided to head to the backseat of the car. In case you need to make a quick run into a safer part of the woods. "If they come, I have to run."
You sat in the back of car, looking around outside. Nothing.
Oh-oh, I grieve in stereo, the stereo sounds strange.
I know that if you hide, it doesn't go away.
If you get out of bed and find me standing all alone Open-eyed, burn the page, my little dark age.
You leaned back against the backseat trying to stay low and invisible. No car. No phone. The rest of the keys were gone and with...with them.
You didn't know what to do. Panic and a cry crawled up your throat. Then you heard it: a whistle. Low. A sound too casual for a night like this. Then another joined in. Then a third.
You risked a glance from your hiding spot. Four of them were on the porch now, standing on the porch as if they belonged there. Talking.
All wearing cascual clothing as there is just another day. Each wearing different type of masks. You could see there was blood smeared across their masks. Your friend’s blood. Their bullies blood. You ducked lower into the backseat. You wanted to scream, cry, run, something, but you were frozen. They're too close and it's 4 against 1.
Every thought tunneled into one desperate thought: Get home. Forget this night. Pretend it never happened.
Laughter rang out from the porch. Slowly looking back up. Two of them were smoking like they were at a party. The other two leaned on the railing, chuckling like they were swapping jokes.
You bit your tongue to keep from shouting. "How could they laugh?"
You squeezed your eyes shut and tried to breathe. Tried to think. There had to be another way out. Somewhere to run, someone to call, but your brain was drowned in fear and a thought ringing in your head. There is no escape.
Then a sound. a click.
Could it be their lighter? A gun?
You peeked again. One of them had stepped off the porch.
Slowly. Looking at something or perhaps somone.
Oh-oh, I grieve in stereo, the stereo sounds strange.
I know that if you hide, it doesn't go away,
If you get out of bed and find me standing all alone Open-eyed, burn the page, my little dark age.
Maybe I should run now. Maybe this is my last chance. They might’ve seen the car lights. Might’ve seen you peek. Might be coming this way; to check, to finish the job, to kill.
You slowly peeked again. The guy was gone, but the whole group was with them now. Just hanging around the porch.
Laughing. Lounging. Relaxed.
Like they hadn’t just left your friends in pieces.
You turned back toward the woords. The sob you felt in your chest didn't get chance to make it out before you saw a shadow in the window.
SMASH
You felt the impact of whoever smashed the window before you could even scream. Feeling more cuts as the glass landed on you. Curling and trying to save your head from the glass when all of a sudden you felt the person tugging you out of the car. Tugging you by your hair, shirt, and arms. Fighting back and squriming around when you noticed that you were already half way out of winow. You could feel the remaining glass cutting your thigh deeper as they contiuned to yank you out.
I should’ve stayed upstairs. Should’ve pretended I never heard the screaming, the crash, never saw blood. Should’ve just waited until they were done or grabbed a phone to call the police.
But you didn’t. You saw them. You saw what they did. You hid. And now you’re here. Bleeding and the mercy of their hands. Maybe the last one is left. The last one they need.
Giddy with delight, seeing what's to come.
The image of the dead, dead ends in my mind. Policeman swear to God, love seeping from their guns.
I know my friends and I would probably turn and run
From what you can see you were now being dragged to the middle. Where everyone can see you. You looked at the dark stretch of the woods behind you. Your breath and sobs caught in your throat. There is no escaping. This is it.
Taking another breath. "NO." You were turned your head to see Emma getting dragged out to the middle as well. Now you started crying, about to either die or witness your friends death. You could tell they had caught her a few times by her wounds. She was still able to flee. Emma gets pushed to middle and looks at you. "It's ok Emma, just breathe and look at me."
"Well Well Well look at what we have here guys. The last two standing, I wonder who can be the last girl." Emma looks and starts begging. "I'm sorry, ok? and I regret everything I have said and done to you guys." They were simply just watching her. Not saying anything. Emma had stopped when she realized they all started to bust out laughing. "Is she serious? I can't tell", someone from the left said.
Emma cried harder. You started to feel teary eyed to. No amount of begging or running could get you out of this situation.
if you get out of bed, come find us heading for the bridge
Bring a stone, all the rage, my little dark age
I grieve in stero, the stereo sounds strange
Emma looked up again, "what are you guys going to do to us". You looked at them and one stepped down to you. "I want this one", you cried harder knowing it was your time to come. Even if you weren't bullying, you were sitll gulity by assiocation. The same person roughly grabbed your hair to stand you up and put a knife to your neck. "You ready to choke on your own blood", he asked. "NO NO please no, don't kill her", Emma shouted. He drew the knife back and then...
I know that if you hide it doesn't go away
if you get out of bed and find me standing all alone
Open-eyed, burn the page, my little dark age
Hearing chuckling, you opened your eyes and started laughing too. "That's a good one. Thought you were going to do it for a second.", you said giving him a big kiss. "Only in the bedroom", he said back deeping the kiss. "Can the two love birds get a fucking room, please?".
Emma dumbfounded. "What the fuck. The fuck is wrong with you", she shouted in a confused rage. "Oh lots is wrong with me and that's a conversation that you won't be here for." you said, turning back to finish your makeout with your boyfriend. Too consumed you didn't realize that they had already got Emma. You noticed her looking to you. You saw knives near her neck and on her back. She was on the ground, gurgling in front of you and flinching. She became silent and then still.
Yachi removes her mask. "Wow I could go for a drink and a cold water". She said while sitting down on the steps. Everybody nodded in agreeance while streching and removing their masks. "Where is Hinata?", everyone looked around noticing he was missing. "Did he get fucking stabbed again, what the fuck". Laughing your ass off now at Hinata and his bad skills.
"Let's find Hinata, clean up and then go get drinks". Tobio said, picking you up and setting you on the steps. Giving you one last kiss.
I hope you enjoy while we wait for the new series!!-S

Summary: A winter night and getting into the Christmas Spirit while decorating the Tree. And cookies!
Content: A chill night, Geto x reader, 2 DAUGHTERS, the reader is female, kissing, fluff, suggestive towards the end.
You and Geto were gathered in your cozy living room, filled with the scent of vanilla and sparkling lights on a chilly December night. Your two children, Lucy and Verity, were working on the Christmas tree. You and Geto opted to let them choose the tree's decorations. The colors were orange, blue, white, and pink. Even though the tree's colors might not correspond, it would still be an unforgettable experience for your children. In addition, you get a break from constantly decorating the tree. Geto said, "Wanna put the special ornaments on the tree, love?" "Yes, those are expensive. And no time for breaking them.”
Verity was hanging the orange and blue decorations while Lucy was hanging the pink and white ones. While you sat down and watched for the oven to go off, Geto began putting some extra decorations around the stairs. You chose to wait until the last minute once more because the company was coming tomorrow. "Mommy, Verity keeps moving my ornament so she can put on hers." You glanced at Verity, who was making every attempt not to laugh at her sister. "Verity, please move the ornament to an alternate spot or put it directly next to it."
You couldn't help but think of your first Christmas with the twins and Geto as you watched the tree bloom into an array of colors. While you took care of the twins and your body that year, Geto was preparing and decorating the tree. The tree looked dreadful that Christmas.
The next morning of that year, you laughed out as you recalled the burnt food and the crooked look of the tree. "What's so amusing up there?" Geto said, while glancing through the stairs. "Just thinking about that year when you wrecked the tree and wasted the food." Geto laughed and threw his head back at the memory of that year. "If I do recall the memory of the last-minute food shopping." In the kitchen, the oven went off. "Speaking of food, hopefully this turns out decent". You said as you were getting off the couch and walking into the kitchen. The sweet smell of freshly made Mac and Cheese floated through the air. "It smells good," Lucy said. "Thank you, sweetheart, it still needs to cook a little more, unfortunately".
Geto made his way upstairs and approached you. Hugging you from behind and giving you neck and back kisses. "It smells really good, beautiful," he murmured while giving you extra neck kisses. You shifted around in his arms and kissed him on the lips. "Thank you, Love. I'm striving to reclaim my good cooking skills." You gave him another kiss.
"Ewwww, look, Verity, they're kissing," Lucy shouted while standing at the Kitchen doorway. "When are they not kissing, Lucy?" asked Verity. "How about this? How about you both go to bed so Santa can come tonight?" asked Geto, picking up Verity. You left the kitchen to go grab Lucy as well. Carrying them to the bedroom.
"Aw, man, we have bedtime on Christmas." Lucy pouted. "What kids get bedtime on Christmas?" Verity remarked. "Kids still need a full 8 hours of sleep," you murmured as you tucked Verity into bed. "Kids who want to open their presents tomorrow," stated Geto, tucking Lucy into bed. "He sees when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake," he sang again. Not the greatest melody or beat.
The two of you said "goodnight" and then departed from their room. Geto picked you up as you were about to return to the kitchen and softly dragged his hands across your waist and kissed your neck, adding, "I got an early Christmas present for you." The TV was playing softly in the background. The television comedy series, The Big Bang Theory, brings back memories of your high school years. When you and your friends would sit in the living room, laughing and talking. Additionally, the show was on when you first time you met Eren. As you gained awareness, you spotted Eren getting ready for bed. Eren had taken off his top and was now in sweatpants. He climbed into bed to read one of the novels you had recommended to him. While you were putting on the silky lavender pajamas and the EOS vanilla Cashmere lotion he had gotten for you.
Eren was so focused on his book that he didn't see you when you joined him in bed. However, as he noticed you, he turned back to face you and placed his book down. Eren grabs the remote and begins watching his favorite show, "The Witcher." While he was enjoying his screen time, you were browsing through your phone, looking for deals and new coffee shops to try. "Do you work tomorrow?" you said, glancing at an elegant pink shimmering purse.
You sat up, turned to face his bare chest, and played with his tattoos. Eren's hand touches yours and begins to softly massage the back of your hand. "No, not tomorrow; I'm off. I work on Sundays, so I'll be late for lunch with the group." He says this while kissing the back of your hand and facing the television. "That's fine; the fun won't truly begin until Con brings the BBQ. But I was wondering if we could take some time out. "I want to go shopping and find a new coffee shop." Eren turned to face you with a small smile on his face. Eren turned to face you with a small smile, "I think being on your phone before bed shouldn't be allowed ever again." You and he both started to laugh since you had a tendency to scroll and find whatever you wanted.
"Can we?" You said once more, wanting to spend time with and, of course, getting what you want at the same time. "Yes, we can, but you have to promise me that if we go tomorrow, then I get to pick what we have for dinner". You let out a loud sigh, knowing what he was going to pick. "Deal". You moved yourself to lie back and plugged your phone up. Putting on your bonnet, lip sleeping mask, and then turning off the lamp on your side. "Don't stay up too late or you might miss breakfast," giggling the last part as you put on your lip sleeping mask.
Turning over to turn off the lamp and put on your bonnet. Making sure the alarm clock had been switched on and that everything was plugged in. You lightly giggled at the end, turning back to him to get comfy for the night. He chuckled while turning off his lamp and lowering the TV volume for you. "I won't and I sure as hell won't miss breakfast either." He wrapped his right arm around you, bringing you in closer. Landing a kiss on your cheek and whispering goodnight in your ear.
He begins to feel sleepy at 10:40 p.m., listening to your smooth breathing and faint snoring. He was frequently the first to fall asleep, but he preferred to watch his show first. When the final episode finished airing, he gradually relaxed. He didn't want to wake you up. Entangle his body with yours. At 11, the house was silent and dimly lit up by the wall flowers. The street lights were on, and the faint barking of dogs was in the distance while you two slept. The house is filled with love and sweet oranges. You couldn't have asked for anything better.
