(warnings: violence, near death, read at own risk)
Nothing short of pure bubbling rage burned painfully through his veins, spreading from his heart and fueling every movement, practically crackling with fire and electricity in the Force and he reaches forward.
Malavai Quinn, a man he considered a loyal companion and his closest confidant.
….A friend….
Had tried to execute him on the orders of his master.
Most insulting of all he used droids to try and do it, yes formidable droids, ones clearly trained for Vexis' style of fighting. But it felt like an insult.
The cherry on top of what felt annoyingly like HURT.
Quinn looks to move his mouth to say something but Vexis hears nothing as he uses his invisible hand into the Force to lift the man by the throat and harshly toss him against the wall, repeatedly.
Quinn's consciousness doesn't last long, Vexis continues doing his best to absolutely tear into the man with nothing but the Force before unceremoniously dropping him.
Storming forward to grab the officer by the front of his uniform, raising his fist to deal the final blow himself.
When a small voice at the back of his mind nags and tugs at unseen strings. 'You're hurting him.' The small voice cries.
'I'm not hurting him, I'm killing him.' He corrected with a snarl.
Only for the fire in his veins to suddenly rapidly cool into jagged ice, more painful than the fire before.
He's hurting him. He's killing Quinn-
Vexis feels like he's been swallowed by an icy dark void, narrowing the world to only him and Malavai.
He lowers his fist to check Malavai's pulse, searching the Force for his presence, barely a flicker.
"Quinn? Don't die, kark don't die."
Vexis feels nausea as he forces himself to reach as far into the Light as a creature like him would allow himself, pushing energy from himself into the unconscious smaller man, struggling quietly to mend bones he had just moments before effortlessly broken
Until he felt the Light burning at his shadows and exhaustion gnawing at his bones, forcing him to stop.
He carefully lowers his head to Malavai's chest, only easing slightly at hearing a heartbeat and breaths.
"Kark…. Quinn…" something kept twisting painfully in his chest, bloodied hands clinging to the torn uniform. His eyes betraying him as they lightly rain down onto the material.
"….. it's my fault….."
.
When Malavai awakes….. and he's surprised he wakes up at all, he knew if the droids failed what would happen to him, he counted on it, counted on Lord Baras' plans unraveling….. and yet Malavai wakes up, feeling sore and the telltale daze of a head injury and sedatives.
But also a weight keeping him from standing up….. he's surprised to see that weight being from a familiar scarred head of white hair.
The Sith's ear was resting over Quinn's heart.
For a moment Quinn felt a wive of terror, before it settled into a familiar calm as he takes stock of their surroundings. Medical. The man he had betrayed and who he thought would be his demise took him to medical after Quinn's deserved meeting with the wall it seems.
Malavai hesitates a moment before clearing his throat, grimacing at the tast of Kolto and the light burn at the motion.
Vexis sits upright immediately and straightens, getting to his feet. "Right… see to it you recover Captain, you are needed in the pilot seat." With that the Sith takes his leave.
The Fury-Class (dubbed Objective by some aboard) ship drifted lazily through the quiet vasts of space, currently nowhere to be and no plans of landing or entering any hyperlanes.
The ship was silent, the chronometer declaring it night by Imperial Standard time.
Everyone aboard was in a state of rare peace.
Quiet snores filled the space that was the main ship quarters. Two figures were sprawled over the large bed.
Vexis was wearing loose pants, laying on his stomach, his pale scarred back exposed and his white hair was loose to do as it pleased, quiet half stuttering snores escaping him occasionally.
Half sitting and half laying across his back Malavai Quinn was in his own sleep clothes, having fallen asleep while reading a report, datapad still loosely gripped in his hands, dark hair no longer neatly combed.
Neither paid the door opening and shutting any mind, barely acknowledging it. Though Vexis stirred slightly at feeling another presence. Until a feminine voice cheered "make way!" And plopped back first on top of them.
Vexis eases, having sensed the non threat instead of scrambling to his feet simply grumbles quietly before speaking in a half growl "Captain, your headache seems to be in my bed."
Quinn simply groans in response "at the unholy hours, she's your headache m'lord."
"Hey I'm right here." Vette huffs, barely holding back laughter as she makes herself comfortable. Vexis huffs, turning onto his side to make room, forcing Quinn to also readjust. The Twi'lek happily burrows herself into the space made for her, taking the opportunity to get her hands on Vexis' hair to half braid it loosely and move it so she's not laying on it and capturing the Cyborg by the scalp.
When you're scrolling through the fics of a spesific (I hesitate to call it rare pair but it's not NOT rare pair???) pairing/ship and you realize YOU are gonna have to be the one to write the fic you're looking for because it doesn't exist.

As if I don't have enough unfinished WIPs already....
Sci-fi worldbuilding ideas for your city planets :)
If the planet is entirely city, where does the oxygen come from? Are their farms dedicated to producing oxygen? Special factories? Are there plants that produce oxygen very quickly all over the planet? Do you have to pay an oxygen tax?
Does the planet have natural water? Are the oceans untouched, incorporated into the city, or have they been drained and the water used for things in the city? What is it used for? Drinking, dams, hydroelectricity, food production, etc?
How deep does the city go? Has the planet been mined into to create more space? Is geothermal energy used? Are the bottom levels reserved for things such as sewage, electricity production, factories, prisons, etc?
What is transportation like? Are there roads, floating roads, or are trains and trams used instead? Are planes used? Is transportation fast enough to quickly travel across time zones?
How is food produced? Is it imported, or is it grown on planet? A combination? Think about greenhouses, factorised farms, vertical farming projects, etc. If oceans are left relatively untouched, is food produced in it? Are fish kept? Are there ration laws?
Are the poles less occupied than the rest of the city? Are they used for storing frozen goods, super computers? On a planet with no oceans, is ice and snow valuable?
The same goes for the equator of the planet. Is it more or less occupied? Is the heat used for anything? Are there solar panel farms? Air conditioning?
Are there parks and protected areas of nature? Ancient gardens, important forests, sacred land? Are there laws about chopping down trees? Are there farms for trees and plants? Are their plant shops, and are they expensive? In Star Wars, a part of Coruscant's highest mountain is a public monument that you can look at - are parts of mountains, rare ores, fossils, etc, preserved?
Not all sci-fi cities look the same. Coruscant has skyscrapers arranged in a very chaotic manner, stretching incredibly deep and incredibly high, and there is almost no plant life or natural parts of the planet to be seen. Xandar is arranged neatly with very similar style buildings whilst remaining relatively low rising compared to other city planets, and has lots of greenery and a fairly untouched ocean. Wakanda is relatively defined in layout, with a mixture of plants and buildings, houses and skyscrapers, with every building being unique. Draw inspiration from whatever you like.
Write whatever you want, even if it's common or cliche. It doesn't matter if it has been done before, because it hasn't yet been written by you.
Danny hums as he looks through the fairly bare fridge, pulling back at the sight at the back that beholds him. The fridge isn't ectoplasm enfused like back home but it's a near thing.
"Hey uh.... guys, I haven't a clue what this is at the back of your fridge- uh... cooling supply unit(?) but it's eligible to start paying rent."
One of the.... brothers...? practically materializes behind him, grabbing the growth. "Oh! That's mine."
And to Danny's horror he eats it.
He feels a shudder that goes through him and into his very Core.
"Did he just-"
"Yeah..... he uh.... does that...." one of the others confirmed.
My writing is slow going so I felt like completely out of context sharing a piece of Ghost's childhood I made up for my AUs for no reason in particular:
He worked various part time jobs and one of the first non essential things he got for himself was a small dollhouse that came with a doll missing an arm, he gave her a backstory that she was a tough soldier that lost her arm in some toy war somewhere far away.
And he always thought about saving up to buy a new boy doll because she deserved a pretty husband.
Still deciding if he ever got her her husband and weather or not he still has her hidden away somewhere or if he left her behind and she ended up lost or sold by Tommy back when he originally left home.
When I say I want a story completed, for the work to write itself, ect, I more have a mental image of hitting my head on the pages and have the words magically fall onto them or something.
I don't think to feed my entire story to an AI to finish and/or otherwise steal and use in whatever it spits out later for someone else.
A single one of these alone is almost half or at least a full third of my monthly pay.
I understand people need money for their work and that these teams are huge, I understand games aren't easy to make and takes time, money and resources (I'm trying to make my own games, it's time consuming especially if you're making your own game models ect), I understand our dear Zar is worth less than the Dollar.
But for I the barely making minimum wage worker, I mostly stick to the Under R100 and Under R50 tabs for a reason, at least if one of those don't work or is unplayable for some reason I wouldn't be set back significantly financially and be left with a broken thing that can't even be a paper weight because it's digital.
If I ever finish any of my games and get good enough at it, slap me if I ever charge above R500, or give me really stern reminder to come back to my senses.
Do you have a pet you wouldn't mind being used as a character/OC/Background Character/Easteregg/ ect in some form of media?
A free for all way to immortalize companions and to provide references/ideas :)

Bailey
Dog, Jack Russel Terrier / Miniature (or Toy?) Poodle mix
Small white long haired dog with light brown spots
Terrorizer of cats, fierce protector of those sleeping or seated, firm believer that size matters not and that bigger dogs don't stand a chance against her might, ignored 99% of instructions, will try to run if the gate is open (but would also come home), consumer of all snacks fallen to the floor
If she were a different creature it would probably be something bigger than she was lol...
