had a dream last night where marbles were back en vogue and everyone carried their marbles around in cute little pouches that they'd clip onto their backpacks or purse straps or belt loops so they'd always have their marbles on them and your marbles were deeply personal objects that showcased your individual personality and people would get really passionate and proud of them and playing for keeps was a deeply serious and honor-bound affair and i played a game with an old man while waiting for a bus and he told me how he met his wife while playing in a for-keeps tournament and in a miracle shot he knocked out her most precious marble a brilliant sparkling green one with an inside like a geode and when he looked up he found she was crying at its loss and so right there on the spot he proposed to her so that she could divorce him and take it back in the divorce "but in the end," he told me, "she kept me and the marble" and i awoke teary and resentful to be ripped from a fleeting world that had found for itself such a small and beautiful peace

psychosis needs to lose its negative connotation, its a thing that happens. you are far closer to psychotic episodes than you think and we need to all know how to deal with them properly

I always say that psychosis is a natural part of human experience or state of mind. And guess what, non psychotics get MAD when I say that. "No, its not natural or normal at all! Dont normalize it!" Guess what happens when you haven't slept in a few days? Psychosis. Guess what can happen when you're too stressed? Psychosis. Guess what can happen from physical conditions? Psychosis. Psychosis is the same type of normal that any other negative state of mind is. Someone experiencing depression due to circumstances? Normal. Someone dissociating during a stressful event? Normal. Psychosis isn't different. ANYONE can experience psychosis and it doesn't even have to be a disorder. Psychotic disorders are disorders due to the frequency and intensity of psychosis.

People need to stop demonizing normal human experiences

the distortion of "there is potential profit we did not earn" as "there is money we lost" is fascinating and disgusting to me. "megamediaconglomerate lost $1,000,000,000 to piracy this year" is a flat out lie. it is not true. they did not have a billion dollars, that they now do not have. they felt entitled to one billion dollars, that they did not have, and still do not have. it's an infuriating perversion of the truth

One consistent aspect of anti-transmasculinity I've noticed (particularly when it comes from other trans people) is the implication or outright statement that they want their own oppression.

In this post, for example, transmasculine people are described as wanting to be viewed as different kind of men, to whom different rules apply.

When really, this is simply trans men describing their lived reality. Trans men are, objectively, viewed and treated as a different kind of man, and experience different rules and standards then cis men do. This is assuming that they're even seen as a type of man in the first place, which is not true for many trans men.

Which is interesting, because these same people have no issues when trans women described being degendered or other-sexed. Furthermore, they understand intuitively that trans women are treated with different rules and standards than pericis women.

But when trans men explain similar concepts, that they're overall affected by different systems of oppression than pericis men, suddenly they "want" to be seen as a different kind of man.

They believe that trans men are asking for it.
