animals that have similar levels of sexual dimorphism to humans, for example cats, dogs, and horses, do not generally have competitive events segregated by sex. the dog agility trials dont normally have separate leagues for male and female dogs (gendered competitions exist they're just unusual). because it doesnt matter. there is no kentucky derby 2 just for girl horses. thats not a thing

It's a good habit to remember to ask "what do you mean by ___" when you are confused. Very often, when two people who otherwise are just as sensible and logical and well-informed disagree, it's not actually a disagreement, but two people talking about two completely different things, and simply using the same words for it.

If you reassure a scared child by telling them "clowns aren't real", and by "real" you mean that the people who perform as clowns are actually artists who are performing while in costume, who will take their outfit and makeup off at the end of the show, after which they are just normal people like anyone else walking down the street, and the next adult that the kid seeks reassurance from will tell them "of course clowns are real!", they are not going to have a fun and magical day at the circus today.

A lot of people seem to mix up ‘community’ with ‘friend group’ so when they read ‘no one should be abandoned by the community. No matter what they did’ they think it means ‘you have to be friends with abusers’. When in reality it means ‘no matter what someone does they shouldnt be left to go homeless and be denied financial, housing, medical, etc aid’

You don’t have to be friends with these people, no one is saying that. It’s just saying that you should support rehabilitative justice, support programs that help homeless people, support funding for free medical services, and make sure they don’t turn away anyone who needs help.
