🌶️Shakshuka “Vegetarian” and “Meat loaded” by #SognoToscano
Shakshuka - Mediterranean dish that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Main ingredients - eggs, tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic. Everything else can be added from scratch. We made two versions: Vegetarian and Meat lovers. Let us know your favorite in the comments! #Enjoy!
🍅Ingredients for Vegetarian: Olive oil Garlic cloves 2 Mushrooms 1 cup Fresh chili pepper ⅓ Onions 1 cup Bell peppers 1 cup Salt/pepper Smoked Paprika in powder Canned cherry tomatoes (or fresh) Tomato sauce Mozzarella 1 cup Eggs 3 Ricotta Fresh parsley 🥩Ingredients for “Meat loaded” Guanciale ½ cup Fresh chili pepper ⅓ Garlic cloves 2 Onions 1 cup Bell peppers 1 cup Salt/pepper Smoked Paprika in powder Canned cherry tomatoes (or fresh) Tomato sauce Mozzarella 1 cup Eggs 3 Mushrooms 1 cup Salame Prosciutto 👨🏼🍳Recipe Saute onions and garlic (with guanciale for meat loaded) Add onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and saute around 5 min Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika Add canned or fresh tomatoes and tomato sauce For “Meat loaded” add salami (or any other meat ingredient you have) Mix and add water if needed to cover all ingredients Add a cup of mozzarella Break eggs on top and cook on low heat until eggs are ready Garnish with fresh parsley, fresh green onion, ricotta, prosciutto Enjoy!
