In light of the no.1 trending topic on this site, I'd like to inform youse that Kitty Kendall, one of the survivors who bravely spoke out against Neil Gaiman and accused him of rape in 2025, has said here and here that if you are looking to support her and other survivors, you can make a donation to OurVOICE (the counselling service Kendall herself used) or your local rape crisis centre. If you can't make a donation, you can help to ensure people do not forget what Kendall and other survivors have gone through and continue to go through as they pursue legal action, and that Gaiman has already spent a lot of money in the attempt to sue these women for speaking out.

these murderous idiots are teaching young girls and women to be afraid of calories when eating a LOT of calories is literally vital for performing well in competitive sports. and then claiming it's 'natural' to uphold sex segregation bc of this imposed malnutrition. it's fucking crazymaking.

the mechanics here are truly horrific. systematically deny [cis] women athletes adequate nutrition and hydration, overwork and injure them. deprive them of the ability to realize the true extent of their strength and skill. segregate athletics based on false ideas of "sex" based on generations of malnourishment and poor training. blame trans woman athletes for the mere possibility that one might beat a cis woman, while claiming that the cis woman's defeat is inevitable. create emotionally stressful and often sexually humiliating tests to "purify" competitive athletics rather than foster the physical health of athletes. continue punishing all women for daring to play sports + have bodies.

I'm feeling some kinda way about GO3 being out. It's really painful to remember how incredibly obsessed I was with S2 and S1. How much i got sucked into the madness and how benign it felt back then. How excited I was after S2 when I realised how accessible the author was. How sad i was about how long it was gonna be before S3 happened, "if it ever did".

Feels now like their S2 ending would really have been a suitable ending for this shitshow, much as it hurt.

I will say though: I'm proud of how many people are reblogging this post the last few days in general and today in particular. A good few hundred so far.

I would however love it if some of you could share either this post, or links to these fundraisers, so we can support the victims today 💜
