Every once in a while, there’s a day when I don’t have to be a princess. No lessons, no expectations. A day where anything can happen. A day I can change my fate.

The nerve of those Whos. Inviting me down there - on such short notice! Even if I wanted to go my schedule wouldn’t allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, jazzercize; 6:30, dinner with me - I can’t cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing… I’m booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling and slip slowly into madness. But what would I wear? Im gonna blog this here because Jeremy Irons is a genius.
WAIT, THE VOICE OF WINNIE THE POOH DID SOME OF SCAR’S LINES!?!?!?!? THAT IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD.
Irons does about half the singing, Cummings does the rest. He also sings for Rasputin in Anastasia. And also he narrated that Phelps vs. Shark thing. :)
Coco (2017) dir. Lee Unkrich, Adrian Molina
It’s the oldest story in the universe. This one or any other. Boy and girl fall in love, get separated by events - war, politics, accidents in time. She’s thrown out of the hex or he’s thrown into it. Since then they’ve been yearning for each other across time and space. Across dimensions. This isn’t a ghost story, it’s a love story.

I’m letting life hit me until it gets tired. Then I’ll hit back. It’s a classic rope-a-dope.
You try living for 15 years thinking that you’re one person, and then in five minutes, you find out you’re a princess. Just in case I wasn’t enough of a freak already, let’s add a tiara!

And of course she must improve her mind by extensive reading. Elizabeth closes her book.

I’ve said this before and I’ll point it out again -
Menstruation is caused by change in hormonal levels to stop the creation of a uterine lining and encourage the body to flush the lining out. The body does this by lowering estrogen levels and raising testosterone.
Or, to put it more plainly “That time of the month” is when female hormones most closely resemble male hormones. So if (cis) women aren’t suited to office at “That time of the month” then (cis) men are NEVER suited to office.
If you are a dude and don’t dig the ladies around you at their time of the month, just think! That is you all of the time.
And, on a final note, post-menopausal (cis) women are the most hormonally stable of all human demographics. They have fewer hormonal fluctuations of anyone, meaning older women like Hilary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would theoretically be among the least likely candidates to make an irrational decision due to hormonal fluctuations, and if we were basing our leadership decisions on hormone levels, then only women over fifty should ever be allowed to hold office.
Reblogging hard for that last comment.
I WANTED TO SAY THIS BUT THEN SOMEONE ELSE DID and I’m damn proud.

…I’m not seeing anything wrong, per se.
this was great, but the part that’s killing me is Netflix’s follow-up
Look, you don’t have to give me an answer now. Just think about it, okay? Yep, don’t hold your breath.
