Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children Movie was actuallyokay

Yes I know this is a really unpopular opinion, but I think it didnt deserve all the hate it got. I recently watched it, and thought it was a decent film. It wasn’t a “great” film, but it wasn’t horrible either. I also didnt have a problem with the ageing up and the switch of peculiarities between Olive and Emma.

The only thing I had comments on was that the Enoch/Olive ship had potential in the first half of the film but it became so rushed in the latter half that it left me dissatisfied. Also the latter half was pretty much where it got confusing and weird, but it didn’t really turn me off like I thought is would.

Movie Review?

Okay so, I just watched Miss. Peregrine’s home for Peculiar Children ( may i add i have read all 3 of the books prior to me watching the movie ) and I ended up stuck in the middle between being really disappointed and actually really liking it. The movie honestly is so inaccurate from the book and I was upset about it at first because Tim Burton could have done such a better job at actually making it like the freaking book. Yet I actually really liked it because if you are someone who would rather watch the movie than read the book then you would not be disappointed, because it’s in general a good movie. that’s just my feelings though 🤷🏽‍♀️

I really miss when people would leave comments on every post they saw, even if it was something silly. Especially in small fandoms! I would love to notice a familiar person in the comments and be like “hello mistersomeonewholikesthesamethingsilike123 good to see you’re still here!” I feel like the number of hearts doesn’t matter if we don’t talk. The like to comment ratio these days is really sad.

And finally after 5 weeks or something I managed to draw something nice again! This was my entry for the ransomspeculiars fanart contest and I won first place! :D It was so much fun to draw this and it has been a long time since I made something I can be proud of.  I almost finished reading the first book and yesterday I sketched out Enoch so hopefully I can post some drawings of him tonight :)
