Okay. As long as I'm thinking about FFXIV today, here's a question for my fellow players. If you have played and have a decent memory of most (if not all) of the base ARR starting jobs, I'd be curious to know!

Which starter job has the most lore relevant (or lore interesting) story? And/or, which job gives you the most context for the world at large?

CNJ / WHM (Padjal & elementals)

ARC / BRD (Racism & moogles)

LNC / DRG (More racism & bonus Estinien)

ACN / SMN / SCH (Pirates, magic theory, and Nymian history)

MRD / WAR (Monster hunting)

THM / BLM (All Void, all the time)

PGL / MNK (Fighting & Ala Mhigo)

GLD / PLD (More fighting & political corruption)
