I wish Cassandra Cain had spent more time in Bludhaven (before the reboot). Feels like a missed opportunity to not have more day-to-day adventures now that she’s living alone. And the people she met - Brenda and that Zero fellow - introduced, teased then forgotten.

Finished rereading Batgirl 2000, have to experience the sudden explosive end of Bludhaven again. (Had to wiki what happened because I don't keep track of all comics.) Such a missed opportunity to explore and develop Cass's reaction and emotions to the lost of her friends and new home city.

Ended up reading on AO3, found a story (that doesn't twist the canon) I like, and head-canon it as a fitting conclusion to Cass's story in Bludhaven.

Google tells me that Deathstroke caused the explosion. I know Deathstroke drugged Cass in Titans East. But there's no connecting story linking them? I wish there's more to explore how the lost of the city, the effect of the Lazarus Pit can tie in with how she got drugged.

With the success of finding a new head-canon to end Cass's Bludhaven story via fanfiction. Is there a good fanfiction that better explains how Cass got screwed up by Deathstroke?
