Tender, juicy chicken breasts that have been marinated in a tasty yogurt mixture with savory spices and then grilled to perfection. Not only is this yogurt-marinated chicken tasty, it's also simple to make.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts. 1 cup plain yogurt. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, grated. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh cilantro for garnish optional.
Instructions: Put yogurt, ginger, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together. In a shallow dish, put the chicken breasts. Then, pour the yogurt marinade over them and make sure they are fully covered. Put the dish in the fridge for at least an hour, or better yet, overnight. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Take the chicken out of the marinade and shake off the extra. Throw away the rest of the marinade. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's done all the way through and the juices run clear. After taking the chicken off the grill, let it rest for a few minutes. If you want, add fresh cilantro as a garnish.
