It was once again asked to be withdrawn for a co champion title for the same reason. - copy cat Blendos started appearing and would tear each other apart - Blendo is in the robot hall of fame - Blendo is too strong and powerful

fun fact shared by Adam Savage:

NSync was touring the ILM workshop (during the making of the Star Wars prequels). The model makers were used to big name visitors and had been told not to interact with the guests.

NSync (without Timberlake at the time) were admiring the models when suddenly they shouted “DEADBLOW!!” when they saw the robot in the workshop, and then they saw Grant, and proceeded to lose their collective minds. They were all fans of Battlebots and took pics with him.

NSync, one of the biggest boybands of the 90s, fanboyed over Grant Imahara.

I will stand by a comment I once said that Deadblow is one of the best hammerbots of all time.

Also, Adam Savage, who was part of team Blendo, also featured as a judge once in the reboot of Battlebots, during the ABC era of the reboot.

Thanks to Blendo, we also got the very destructive bots of Ziggo (A lightweight full body spinner that used a WOK for it’s shell, and was named after the builder’s psychotic dead cat.), the Shrederator series (Starting from Phrisbee all the way up to Captain Shrederator), the Byte series (Mega, Giga, and Invader) and many many more.

Also, Deadblow also featured in many a Mythbuster episode where they couldn’t use a human safely, or, comically enough, to use Deadblow as a cat, with a taxidermy of one strapped to the top of said robot.
