The Exorcism and Consecration of the Prayer/Ritual Show
The Ritual Shawl is used for the protection of the self during the ritual and for the personal concentration of the witch, it also provides a symbol of power and authority. The ritual was derived from the Key of Solomon for the preparation of the ritual garments.
For the ritual - you will need a shawl or veil of some sort, a bowl of khernips (or Holy Water, which I will provide in another post) and a perfume (whose consecration and exorcism I will give in this post, the perfume can be a literal bottle of perfume such as rose water, various flower waters, actual perfume or incense). The primary prayer for the exorcism was derived from the general formula of exorcism found and the prayer for the consecration was derived from the prayer where one dons the garments.
First, sign the cross over the self with the holy water. An addition to this would be to sign the cross over the forehead, over the mouth and over the heart asking for the mind, the words and the soul/heart to be cleansed and prepared for holy ritual. A confessional prayer may then be said. I have provided a general opening that derives from the Rosary and is as follows:
The Sign of the Cross (already done)
The Apostle's Creed
The Our Father
Three Hail Mary
A Prayer of Intent which would be something akin to
Lord I beseech thee, I beseech Thy Saints, I beseech Thy Angels ,I beseech thy Heavenly Throne, by the Blood, the Body, the Divinity of Thy Beloved Son, to grant me the wisdom, the strength, the protection and the will to purify and consecrate this creature of fabric that it may serve unto my rituals to protect, to empower and to consecrate me through your grace that I may see my ends met and obtain holy communion with the Spirits for thou Glory, that shall be unto the Ages of Ages, amen.
Thereafter, the cross is signed over the perfume saying:
By the Father Eternal, I exorcise you
By the Son Redeeming, I exorcise You
By the Spirit Illuminating, I exorcise you
One God, Forever and Ever, Amen.
I exorcise thee, O Creature of Perfume, that the Blessing of God The Almighty, be upon thee, and let all malignity and hindrance be cast forth hence from, and let all good enter herein. I cast out from thee, all impurities and uncleanness of the Spirits of the World of Phantasm, in the name of the Almighty God Tetragrammaton (I write this instead of the Divine Name for respect of the Almighty, however, it may also be replaced with IAO (another Divine Name of the Lord Almighty or Logos, which is used to reference the Lord in the Creation who by the Word or Logos, created in Gensis), who liveth and reigneth unto the ages of ages, Amen.
Thereafter, sign the cross thrice over it once more to seal and begin the next oration:
O Lord, deign to bless and to sanctify this creature of perfume, so that it may be a remedy unto mankind for the health of body and soul, through the invocation of Thy Most Holy Name, may all creatures who receive the odour of this perfume receive your consecration, through Him who hath formed the Ages, Amen.
Thereafter, the sign of the cross is done once more over the perfume to seal it then one begins the consecration of the prayer shawl. They sprinkle khernips or holy water over it in the form of the cross saying:
Hekas, Hekas, Este Bebeloi, In Nomine IAO
Thereafter, hold the hand over it declaring:
I exorcise thee, creature of fabric and silk, that the blessing of God the Almighty be upon thee, let all malignity and hindrance be cast hence from and let all good enter herein. I cast out from Thee all the impurities and uncleanness of the spirits of the world of Phantasm in the name of the Almighty God IAO, who liveth and reigneth unto the Ages of Ages, Amen.
The sign of the cross is done over it thrice before spraying the perfume over it again in the sign of the Cross
The following is then said:
O' Lord, deign to bless and sanctify this creature of silk, so that it may be a remedy unto mankind for health of the body and soul, through the invocation of Thy Most Holy Name, let those clothed with it receive your consecration, through Him who hath formed the Ages, Amen.
Thereafter, reading the Psalms 15, 131, 137, 117, 16, 17, 127 thereafter saying the prayer:
Amor, Amator, Ideadaniach, Pamor, Plaior, Anitor, Lord, through the Merits of these Holy Angels, deign to bless this this garment of power through which I may conduct unt othe desired end all that which I ardently wish, through Thee, My Most Blessed Adonai, Most Heavenly IAO, whose Kingdom and Empire reigneth for ever, amen.
Thereafter, the garments may then be clothed. In future rituals when they are worn, they are worn while praying the psalms listed above but after the first one, before continuing with the others, shall say:
Amor, Amator, Ideodaniach, Pamor, Plaior, Anitor, through the merits of these Holy Angels will I robe and indue myself with the Vestments of power, through which I may conduct unto the desired end those things which I ardently wish, through Thee, Most Holy Adonai, whose kingdom and empire endureth Forever, amen.
