Look, I am going to be upfront when I say this...

I will not be answering/reblogging/responding to people that mass tag/ask/DM random blogs for donations, no matter what the post is about. A lot of the time, these tend to be scams, and I don't want to be responsible if someone gets scammed through my negligence to vet whether mutual aid posts/accounts are legitimate or not.

Instead, I will give attention to organisations and groups that are much easier to prove as legitimate, such as UNICEF, PCRF, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières, and arab.org. While I might not be able to donate much myself, due to me, as of right now, being on the disability pension, I will do what I can by spreading the word.

If any of you ever feel like what you're doing for Palestine isn't helping anything, I'll tell you right now it's helping me. I know it is fortifying all of us who have been in this fight for years to see so many people willing to speak up. It has never been like this before.

The tide has already turned. The fact that #free palestine will have new posts everyday, that helps me. It helps my mental health knowing that Palestinians are less alone now than ever.

Yesterday I read some verses from the Quran talking about how "the blame" is not with those who wish to help but cannot, but with those who CAN help and do not.

Truly I do not care if all you do for Palestine is post in that #free palestine everyday, that is still more than many people with the means to do even more would do.

Being asexual and racist is embarassing as fuck. Being racist at all is obviously embarassing as fuck but the amount of racism and especially antiblackness i have been seeing from asexuals recently is obscene.

One of the only asexual activists is Yasmin Benoit, a Black woman. She has raised so much awareness for the community. She was the first asexual person to lead Pride in London, she started the #thisiswhatasexuallookslike movement and is THE leading voice for the community.

And you all will celebrate international asexuality day on April 6th but we wouldn't even have that if she hadn't cofounded it.

The 13th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th August 2026.

It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

I know I don't talk publicly about my personal life, but I have something to get off my chest.

For context, I'm a client of this disability employment agency (I'm autistic) and they're great to work with. Last week, I was doing a job trial at this Italian restaurant and they all seemed to like me. I was told that if the employer(s) really liked me, I would actually get a real job with them.

Here's the thing though. Like two weeks ago my younger brother got fired from his job (wasn't due to any misconduct but yeah). If I were to actually get employed from this job trial, I'm worried that I'd be spitting in his face or gloating or whatnot. I feel like a major asshole even though I know it was just bad timing.
