BRB gonna wear my shirt that announces I got successfully railed in the street just outside Fenway Park
alternatively: a shirt that announces that you gave birth in the street outside Fenway Park. congratulations ma’am it’s a beautiful healthy Red Sox fan.
In case anyone wants it, here’s the full scripted goo room scene:
Like I really just need to:
This is written like a breakthrough. This is written like an engagement. This is written to end in a spot where they are - according to the script - happy together again and shot to end on an engagement ring in a way that strongly implies they may have gotten informally engaged anyway, "un-proposal" or not.
And people say the viewers who didn't think they broke up are dumb? guys, they WROTE IT as not a break up. They DIRECTED THEIR ACTORS to perform it as not a break up. They SHOT IT to convey it's not a break up.
Then they had to GO TO THE PRESS bc everyone interpreted it exactly as they intended it, before either Netflix told them otherwise or they lost their balls.
This. Is. HILARIOUS.
In case anyone wants it, here’s the full scripted goo room scene:
the argument of "AI is just a tool" (to deflect criticism of AI) assume that, because it's a tool, it a fundamentally neutral thing that cannot be treated as bad in and by itself. "It's not AI that's the problem it's how people use it", they say, hopping that people will understand that THEIR use of AI is ethical...
This assumption fail to consider that a tool CAN be judged. It's properties can be analyzed and criticized. There are tools (or technique, or technology) that are dangerous, unethical, inefficient or just plain bad. If we can boycott things like Teflon kitchenware on the ground of health & environmental aspect, computer components due to connection to a genocide & exploitation of slave labor, and cars because they suck ass (and each of these have many other issues), we can object to the use of AI
10 years of some bull inbetween, but hey at least he upgraded his weapon of choice. So I guess that’s something.
Im crying bruh, Nancy insulted Jonathan’s music taste and he said she doesn’t know ball immediately. Can’t believe he was supposed to sassy, even near death. Why would they take this away from me?
Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness - Kurt Vonnegut
omg charlie at kick off at the world cup that's so cool
there is a light and it never goes out.
Charlie Heaton in Below (Netflix, October 8)
Stranger Things Appreciation Month – Favorite Character – Jonathan Byers ↳ Do you remember the day dad left? We stayed up all night building Castle Byers just the way you drew it…then it started raining, but we stayed out there anyway. We were both sick for like a week after that.
sometimes you see Takes™ that make you go "mmmhmmm okay yeah i see we both interpreted that differently based on what the show gave us, but i see how you arrived at your ideas even if they're different from mine," and then sometimes you see Takes™ that make you go "brother what show did you even fucking watch"
"you're relentless you know that" all affection with the little smirk as he agrees to do exactly what she wants and-
Not sure why it's a new trend among fic readers to assume if the fic has not been posted within the week it's inappropriate to comment on it, like the fic has to be hot out of the oven to give feedback for.
I got a comment on a fic that is less than a year old and it was mostly an apology for being a comment on an "old fic" and how late they were in commenting.
Just comment on the fic. Doesn't matter how old it is.
Fandom is not social media.
Fandom is not trends.
Fandom is a cross between a library and having a slumber party with your friends.
"Old" means nothing to fic.
I just got a comment on AO3 that mentioned originally reading the story on YahooGroups in 2003 and how it stuck with them ever since.
That MADE MY DAY.
Comment on old fic, friends.
“I wasn’t even alive when this was written.” ⬅️ actual comment I’ve gotten on a story
literally what would we do without gif makers thank you gif makers THANK YOU GIFMAKERS i love nothing more than to watch a tiny moment of a scene loop over and over and over the world is so beautiful
