My birthday is at the end of February, so the age is for the majority of the year
18/2010: graduated high school, dropped out of college, tried to hold onto my failing relationship, worked at a dead end job (that I had been at since I was 16).
19/2011: continued to try to hold onto my failing relationship (was primarily failing because I was a garbage cheating human), broke up, lost all my friends, started at my current company, forced myself into my best friend’s life
20/2012: moved into first apartment with best friend, feel in love with him, went through a ton of heartbreak, learned my self worth, learned what it’s like to lose friends and how to manage my own feelings while being sensitive to others’
21/2013: left previously mentioned apartment, moved back in with my parents, found a new group of local friends, learned how to build a community, tried to balance work and play. Fell in love with someone who didn’t deserve it, learned I was being played at the same time I found out I was pregnant. Got abortion, don’t regret it for a single moment.
22/2014: got kicked out of parents for living partying lifestyle, moved in with partying friends, got worse at balancing work and play, was irresponsible with myself.
23/2015: got kicked out of previously mentioned apartment, moved back in with parents. Eventually got kicked out of parents’ for being disrespectful to their home, moved in with coworker, thought it was best case scenario and she was “cool,” would later find she was psycho.
24/2016: was emotionally tormented by coworker roommate. Got first OUI while trying to buy drugs from previous friends. Was identified that I wasn’t doing well by my mom, who welcomed me back to live with them. Started building a romantic relationship at the end of the year.
25/2017: found online community surrounding Pokemon Go. Solidified relationship, moved in with him at the middle of the year, everything felt perfect and easy.
26/2018: Relationship decayed, broke up at the end of the year, felt fully torn down.
27/2019: Stayed in apartment I was in with my previous relationship, living on my own for the first time, got second OUI, working through going through those repercussions, decided to keep pushing through and went back to school.
