Warm-up Sketches: Sequential Wolverine!

Laura is my favorite comic character, but I am always loathe to draw her since I never quite seem to get her correct.  I finally sketched something I was happy with (the Monkey Flip on top; pen/ink over pencil), which spawned two more sketches (heavily influenced by the Changquan)!  There is so much potential for great fight panels featuring Laura, with her off-the-charts skill and agility, that you are really only limited by your own imagination.

Originally, I drew a practice pencil sketch of a woman crouching.  Afterwards, when I redrew her with pen and ink, I flipped the image sideways and turned her into Jessica.  Last night, I finally slapped some colors on using Photoshop.
