i’m not the person who accused you of using ai, but i don’t think their ask was nearly as out of line as you say it was considering that you weren’t cropping out the ai disclaimer or leading with the fact that you weren’t actually using ai. i don’t know if you’re just not actively reading fanfic right now either, but at least 1/5 of the fics that are coming out rn on tumblr have heavy use of ai, especially those from newer creators(or who seem to be newer) in many many fandoms too. tbh i had nearly blocked you before i saw that post and if you hate genai so much it’s weird to me to not be proactive about making sure people aren’t thinking you use it.
hey, so i actually wasn't aware of this, thanks for bringing it to my attention, i'll be more attentive from now on (as i said i would) with the removal of the message, and looking out for writers that are using ai.
1. coming into someones inbox, especially anonymously, and saying what they said (claiming that i don't care about the earth or peoples access to water, insulting my creativity) is wrong. no matter what way they put it. i said in my other post, i understand their frustration around ai usage. but watch how you talk to people. point blank period. their approach was hostile and aggressive.
2. like i said, i wasn't aware of tumblr writers using ai, so yes, thats on me for assuming that it was just known that this was my own work.
3. you mentioned this problem is big among newer writers. yes, ive gained more attention since switching to jjk, but as you can see ive been posting on this acc for two years. and obviously im not expecting you all to just know this, but ive been writing for years. i value my work, and both of your comments are a little insulting. it would be the same for anyone who spends time making something, posts it, and their met with bs from people online.
4. im not some well known writer, i dont care about social media. i'm some random college student who posts because i enjoy it. this is my last time addressing this, i've already said that i will be cropping from now on, and i'm actively searching for other apps with the same accuracy as memi, free, works on my device, and doesn't use ai AT ALL. and thats that.
also pls block me. im not with the controversy. i have real life problems going on, i dont want any negative energy when i open tumblr to improve my mood. thx and bye
(also if anyone knows, pls tell me which creators are using ai, so ik not to interact with their content. thx love ya)
