We know that we cannot take the current President's statements at face value. But in light of Trump's recent speech where he claimed that he's "saved" NASA and always supported them (which isn't true), I wanted to elaborate on some of this.

He's slashed the budget, forced removal of DEI history and contributions at NASA, and caused many NASA workers' unemployment. I have worked closely with people in these spheres and know that the budget cuts have deeply jeopardized the future space missions, space exploration, and space science.

My close friends and colleagues, especially those relying on DEI programs, have had such a difficult time during this administration, and we still are. This program found some success with Artemis II and beyond in spite of the current administration's lack of support and lack of funding.

Headcanon that Ilya is late to one of their hookups one time and Shane is like what kind of SICK GAME is he PLAYING. So ilya gets there and shanes super irritated which leads to some damn good sex (this is canon) and then ilya reveals that he was late because there was a canada goose in the parking lot that wouldn't let him get near the door.

shane: well i think i am! completely. (i'm not perfect anymore. i've realised that i cannot be with a woman. i lie in bed with a woman and it feels like a punishment. i have to think of you to feel even the slightest pleasure despite having a girlfriend men would kill for.)

ilya: why are you telling me this? (why does your being gay or not gay matter? a label means nothing when it doesn't change the secrecy, the wrongness, the inevitability of this, of us both.)

shane: who else am i going to tell? (this is an important moment for me. i have to come out to someone. you're the only safe option. you already know this, you have the same secret. let me have this moment with someone who isn't literally the one telling me i'm gay.)

Sometimes I listen to music and it gives me delicious plot ideas that I can sit down and write (Monsters: .stitches; Unpacking God: Anti-Curse; Don't Listen: The Draw; God Is Dead: She Simply Left).

But other times I hear songs and get incredibly good title ideas with no plot. Today's title idea-- You Don't Believe In God, I Don't Believe In Luck (from Destroya by MCR).

for everyone in the notes lamenting that this guy is poisonous: they are not! they're just pretty :) since they're a glass frog, their major defense mechanism is being translucent and hiding their blood while they sleep so they look extra translucent and blend in with leaves <3

OK, so, what's happening here isn't actually a single take. But that's OK, because faking a good one oner is often just as hard as doing one for real.

There's definitely only one Robin. Sorry, but even with identical twins, those guys are flat out identical, down to the chest hair.

So how are they doing this?

It's called a whip cut. Every time the camera swings, the view smears for a moment. By carefully blending the start of one smear with the end of another they can stitch together two shots in a way that appears completely contiguous.

I want to be 100% clear; this is not easy. It takes care and knowledge of your tools to make the cuts this smooth, and your original footage can't have any noticeable differences in stuff like lighting. This took work, all for a bit. I'm actually more impressed at how they faked this being in one take than I would have been if I thought it was real.
