@stupid-fat-panda
They don't know what that word means. A large amount of them are just dumbasses who think Denmark and Norway are "socialist" because their democratic governments spend more on welfare and have more regulations on their free-market capitalist economies. Most European countries have a "Socialist Party" that's basically just the Democrats but slightly further left.
So socialists aren't actually the plucky, downtrodden rebels?
iām gonna say something that will probably piss some people off
i do not think ākill all menā is a good or productive thing to say in any situation
my hot trans friends: don't worry honey trans conservatives with no analysis aren't real they can't hurt you
some fucking tumblr user:
canāt believe i got called a conservative for saying that calling for genocide, even as a joke or hyperbole, is harmful i guess words mean nothing on tumblr.com
Color me shocked
The antisemites have already found the post
Every. Fucking. Time.
Adding to this:
⢠A lot of the people got killed in the following protests when the Islamist group (with Khomeini at its head) came into power and refused to share any positions with representatives of other factions. There were massacres in universities, and I kid you not, they gathered the students In the universities' mosques and after prayer started slaughtering the students.
ā Some went into hiding but got outed by family members, friends, nighbors, etc. Got arrested and consequently publicly hanged/executed.
ā A lot of these people had to flee the country because they were known to have opposite standings compared to the ruling faction and were no longer safe inside.
ā Most were expelled from their jobs and universities and could no longer continue their education or hold a steady job because no one would hire them or would fire them when they found out about their expulsion.
To add more context here is an interview with Chahla Chafiq, who was a 25 year old self professed Marxist involved in the revolution. It's about her lived experience during the revolution, how the variety of Communist activists were naive in regards to Khomeini, how the theocrats used the Leftists and then absolutely annihilated them, and more. This interview was done back in 2022 on Jacobin, a far Left pro-Communism and Soviet website.
On the one hand, this shows how horrible the Iranian regime is.
On the other hand, aw, were the poor wittle Marxists the ones to get liquidated after helping a revolution come to power, instead of being the ones to liquidate everyone else? How sad for them!
Finally, a win
This dumbass stigma that "hick" states are somehow dumber than the more urban ones because they're from poorer areas has to cease...
Hicks are the ones who put us in space.
You know what they changed? What Alabama is doing so different from California and New York?
Theyāre teaching the kids phonics.
It is legally required.
Turns out, actually learning to read improves studentsā skills across the board. Who woulda guessed?
Do not ever let the Left brush 2020 under the rug as "Hehe. Woke 1.0 was craaaaazy."
They got people banned, debanked, and even fired for what they are now trying to laugh off.
You don't get to gleefully destroy people's lives and then "Lol we were so random" your way out of responsibility once your actions are politically inexpedient. Especially when they don't really believe they did anything wrong and are not actually sorry for any of it. They still hold the same views and have the same cruel impulses--they just know they can't get away with steamrolling culture they way they used to and are just trying to recalibrate to maintain their power.
Word already had a word count?! That WORKED?
You made a computer that can't COUNT?!
Accusing jewish people of just being paranoid whenever we talk about our fears is antisemitic btw.
Also, even if it WAS paranoia (which it very obviously isnāt given the massive wave of antisemitism and violence against Jews going on and the centuries of history of similar things in various countries), it still would be incredibly dismissive and heartless and wrong to treat those feelings with contempt since the fear even if it was unfounded (which it isnāt) would still be a result of generations of trauma and oppression and something worthy of empathy
Being paranoid about history repeating itself is actually a perfectly normal damn response from everything I have witnessed in the past few years. Now I do not believe history will repeat itself in the same manner, but it doesn't erase the fact that Jewish hatred has increased and there has been a concentrated effort in online spaces, to basically normalise it under the guise of "anti-Zionism".
I say guise because - while I believe you can genuinely be critical of a country's politics - we stepped far, far away from that when young people got gunned down simply for being Israeli. Or people got gunned down simply for celebrating Jewish holidays. The sort of "anti-zionism" I have seen passed off as normal online, would have me thinking I had entered stormfront, if I did not know better. And that's just all the righteous progressive left spaces, I'm not even going to start on the right wing spaces.
I don't think this should be a controversial take, but your passionate criticism of a nation's politics and leaders, really should not make me think "I saw that sort of rhetoric on stormfront years ago when I stupidly wandered onto the site as a teenager".
Ā A kosher restaurant in Montreal was burned to the ground.Ā
A beloved Jewish bakery in Berlin closed after receiving so much hate.Ā
The only kosher cafe in Dublin received hateful reviewsĀ
A kosher cafe in Paris was destroyed by vandals who broke in and sprayed it with acid.
An Ethiopian-Israeli-Jewish restaurant in Harlem is now open only for events due to receiving so much hate.
A kosher bakery in Sydney closed its doors after the Bondi attack, unable to keep diners and staff safe.Ā
An Israeli restaurant in Lisbon closed, after a never-ending stream of hate.Ā
Ā An Israeli eatery in Antwerp closed, after facing bankruptcy brought on by boycotts.Ā
Ā The workers at a Jewish bakery in NYC said catering Jewish events is a violation of their rights.Ā
Ā Acclaimed Israeli restaurant Miznon has faced protests in London telling it to shut down.Ā
All over the world, Jewish and Israeli cuisine is being wiped off the menu in the name of ājustice.ā
But depriving the world of rugelach, kubeh, latkes, and sfinj wonāt help anyone.Ā
It will only hurt Jews.
@HenMazzig
See this, this is the sort of stuff I was referring to in my earlier post about "anti-zionism".
Tbh I don't even see this much passion against Russia and Russian culture. Not even by people who are more affected by Russia's war on Ukraine. But they have all the energy for Israel.
Freedom FROM religion is mandatory.
Said the person defending a religion in this very post.
I wonder why they feel the need to defend muslims-
Almost like this is the type of stuff thrown at them daily
Oh wow, that sure is a person's words out there. Anyways, my pointing out the hypocrisy of someone using an atheist talking point to defend a religion sure does mean I must hate that religion, that's how that works.
Since when is freedom from religion a thing? Freedom of religion, freedom to practice with persecution, sure. But you are not free from ever being exposed to other people's religion, ideology, different views on...anything really.
Religious or not we should all be mindful of the boundaries of others, but we are not free from having to interact with, and experience those who are different. If you want that, you are the one who needs to become a shut-in.
Freedom from religion implies people shouldn't using the government to force religious beliefs down one's throat- something BOTH extreme muslims and extreme christians want. The problem is people like LAC are willing to turn a blind eye to obvious Islamic extremism while using normal everyday muslims as a shield to deflect from it. All while focusing on just Christians, despite the bible thumper crowd getting less and less powerful as the years go on.
There is nothing wrong with a person being a Christian, Muslim or hell even a Mormon. It's fine to have those beliefs and practice your religion. If someone is upset about someone else being religious then they're an asshole.
Because Tumblr is very English speaking and some ppl like France a little too much I just want to remind you of a few things:
- France abolished the Code Noir 2 months ago. That law project that said hey you can enslave, mutilate, kill, cross breed, etc. black people at will bc they're not people they're property ? Yeah. Abolished 2 months ago. We are in July 2026.
- the last human zoo closed its doors in 1994 in France due to social pressure. Not bc they were running out of business, no. Ppl still visited that place until it closed its doors. No, it was bc (black) French people were fed up. That human zoo was specialized in displaying black (presumed Congolese) people in fake huts in enclosures, for white entertainment.
- now while this might no longer be the case, when I was growing up, I went to a French school (as in. It was an international French School w the French flag n all) and the way we were taught French geography was that France has the biggest and largest access to the sea in the world. And they'd show us a map of France and its colonies around the world. It's all occupied indigenous lands. I don't know if they still teach that. I hope not. But they absolutely did until I graduated high school in 2017. Again, I write this on July 21st 2026, for the record.
Anyways that's all I have for now. Y'all don't hate France enough. Y'all need to hate France more.
As a French Creole this has always been one of the āfunniestā contradictions on this backwards ass site where wannabe leftists claim to stand for anti-imperialism, decolonization and landback while letting themselves be dogwalked by the same descendants of these OG colonizers into attacking and antagonizing Black, Indigenous and Latine ppls still suffering that colonization in the āimperial coreā. Yk that place that has been reduced to a colonial scramble where genocide set the table and slavery keeps the time. Like hmm does none of this sound familiar or have you been so thoroughly conditioned to operate in colonial interests that you still honor the olde allegiances?
comments are off so ill say it in front of god and everyone:
Jean-Jaque Dessalines did not go too far enough.
We need to repeat what he did ngl. but on a global scale.
On the one hand, as I have said repeatedly, France is a much less nice country than itās image and has done a LOT of vile things.
On the other hand, man thereās a lot of āDessalines did nothing wrongā in the notes.
The Code Noir was not abolished until 2026 because it had been superseded by different laws and was not in effect anywhere. It outlined the legal system and legal protections of slaves in the French colonies, so when France abolished slavery and had no colonies it didn't apply. The Code Noir did not say "it is okay to beat and kill black people because they are not human," it... kind of did the opposite? It wasn't progressive by any means because it still enforced slavery, but it actually provided legal rights for slaves? Article 26 apparently stated that slaves were entitled to lodge complaints with local magistrates for mistreatment and deprivation. It explicitly stated that slaves WERE still human, and entitled to basic human rights (as long as they were Catholic, obviously!) It didn't grant them equal rights at all, and even treated black offenders different from white ones, but the ability to "enslave, mutilate, kill" black people "at will" was very specifically what the Code Noir forbid you from doing! It said you were not allowed to do those things!
"The last human zoo in France only closed in 1994!" is perhaps not the most honest way to phrase "one guy made a human zoo in partnership with the government of Ivory Coast in order to promote tourism to Ivory Coast, and this pissed off everyone else in the country and both social pressure and legal sanction forced it to close down in 1994 after less than a year of operation." Like the entire park was terrible, the workers were abused and underpaid and their passports were confiscated so they couldn't leave, but "the last human zoo only closed in 1994" is very different from "some guy opened a human zoo in 1994 and then closed it the same year due to outcry." Also the fuck do you mean "presumed Congolese?" They were Ivorian, anything I saw with information about this said they were Ivorian right away.
If you want to make a point, you should be able to make it without lying and without making things up.
"These people should be murdered because of the crimes of their ancestors and ethnic group" is perhaps not the best way to combat racism. Given that the code noir explicitly forbade murder of slaves, the people all praising Dessalines want to be more violently racist than the code noir was.
Me when I remember something I said ages ago that was wrong or my values no longer align with
Some of y'all like communism a little too much and act too much like it's communism or else you're a big ol' conservative republican who loves capitalism and 'Merica. (P.S. not everything is about the United States of America. No, not even if you dig. Misery can be brought by more than the US of A.)
It's concerning as someone who spends half their time trying to tell children about communist atrocities and wondering how many of them go home and rant about how evil I am for being against communism. Even after knowing/learning communism has killed far more millions than we will ever really fully know because they figured out how to do it a little too well in an age when you just have to toss everything into a fire to get rid of the evidence.
How much generational trauma is still going along the bloodline because of communism. How many victims feel like they have to be silent or else they get dogpiled by children. Telling them they're wrong.
Do you even know who the Khmer Rouge killed? Why?
Do you even know what the Holodomor is?
How many millions of Ukrainians and Cambodians are gone because of communists? Because their ideology literally says to murder en masse? I'm sorry that isn't what you took out of your little commie manual.
How much bigger, fuller, wonderful would life be in dozens of places if not for communism? Communism does not encourage art. It does not encourage writing (except for the machine of communism). It does not care if you are disabled, it will kill you for being useless as a worker. If you think it cares a fucking whit about people like me, you're sadly mistaken.
Queer people are an abomination. They will not/can not produce future workers. They are things to be killed and dumped into pits because they are not proper members of the Party. Some even got forced sterilization just for that extra bit of misery and humiliation.
It is not the amazing, wonderful, loving, caring ideology you take it for.
It cares not for true science. If a scientist disagrees with the Party Scientists, they have to go. Communist Science looks like putting hundreds into the freezing cold. Forcing them to have children. For the sole purpose of making the children immune to the cold. That's not how that works. So many dead for science that isn't real science. Where is your concern for ethics? For humanity? It does not exist in communism.
Communism is not what you think it is. Communism has murdered millions. Communism has hurt the families of people you claim the glory of communism in front of.
Better dead than red? Dead because of Red.
Communism is not 'people of color winning' in South America, in Cuba. In Cambodia. In China. It's people of color dying because of an ideology that should have been stopped in the 1800s.
