Iām trying to get a list of good chairs for cashiers?
Since itās Disability Pride I wanted to make a corporation listen to the employees. I just need to write up an email and attach some things, but I only have so much experience. If you have any advice to people who donāt understand, I welcome it.

Stools with a slight back are a good idea considering the height of most registers

If you live in the U.S. and have an Aldi near you, you could try talking with someone who works there, as, last I checked, Aldi's cashiers generally have chairs.
Otherwise, I'll basically second the suggestions here. The exact setup of the checkout area can change what you should be looking for quite a bit, but a wide based adjustable barstool type chair with a half back is probably what you're looking for. You would ideally want one with as high of a weight rating as you can get both because it'll last longer in general and because it's less likely to dramatically fail because a larger person is moving quickly.
All of the places I've worked have not allowed chairs unless you are disabled and have a doctor's note, and then only provided a metal folding chair. Ideally a chair should be the height of the counter and also have padding on the seat and should have a back rest as well (no stools).
