Your past does NOT define you

Sooo… I was recently reminded about a not so good time in my life(and not in a nice way may I add lol). The thing is, normally when I would hear of that time, it would trigger me. A depressive wave would sweep over me, along with a dose of anxiety and worthlessness. But my recent reaction surprised me and showed me an area of growth I didn’t know I reached.
