This likely won't mean much if you're not into clothing/suits but considering this fandom, the people who aren't are probably in the minority. Excited ramble coming.
TIL the reason the bottom button of suit jackets is typically left undone is because it was actually the habit of King Edward VII done for comfort. Since he was a king, the style took hold, and eventually became factored into the way suits are cut, which carries on to this day.
All that to say, Edward VII's reign began in 1901. London fell in 1862. It's been in 1899 in perpetuity. If any of your characters wear suits, they'd fasten all the buttons.
Which brings me to the drawing I did of Atlas and Théo a few months ago, where Théo's bottom button is undone. He dresses in Devilish fashion (hence the suit being in the style of the '20s), so it works, but that begs the questions: Would Devils leave the bottom button unfastened? Would that have been a trend that took hold in another way? Perhaps it became a thing simply as a contradiction to the styles of Londoners. Or Hell's old aristocracy. My gears are turning with this one.

If these roses truly are from the garden-palaces of the College of Mortality, nestled at the base of the Mountain of Light, then they are used to a great deal of illumination indeed. Fortunately, a nearby attic with an open window contains an Augmented Electrostatic Machine, gathering dust. Once liberated to the rooftop, and used in concert with a plethora of lamps, candles and flares, you are able to well and truly bathe the Millennium Roses in light. It is almost blinding, and with the light comes the intense feeling being watched.
Londons favourite red riding hood!

In this story, I was walking along a path. You were there, too. On another.
The forest stretched on. The trees grew bigger, the canopy thicker. You were lost along the way.

new fun or horrible thoughts (depending on your stance on blood play) regarding Hiram's sexy time, prompted by firmament's option to hook up with a red aligned guy, and the general descriptions of red aligned people:
do Not fuck him in front of a mirror if you want your sexy time to be blood free.
do Not press too much into his skin around his chest/torso/arms if you want your sexy time to be poison free.
consider getting a huge mirror if you'd like your experience to be nice and bloody. the gloves are off during sex, just remember about the skin thing.
disregard this advice if you're into blood AND poison, just be aware that the blood will end up literally everywhere after a while. it also drips from the mirror frame.
disregard all this advice for a bit and then move away from the mirror if you want your sexy time to be just a little bloody. the gloves can stay on.
consider moving your sexy time to parabola if you're into all of that but want to avoid the bloody mess entirely. The gloves are off and there's no annoying dripping mirror effect. The flower gore is still posonous tho 🫡
basically this happens (messy doodle under the cut)
