I feel like Soap wakes up really pissy in the mornings.

You have to give him MINIMUM 30 minutes to an hour before even speaking to him.

Ghost is the only one who gets even a little grace, and even then; Johnny mean mugs the hell out of him till he’s had his coffee.

Morning op? Grumpy as hell.

Early morning watch? He’ll do it but he’s grumbling about it for at least a couple hours.

Gaz waking him up at 0300 for a last minute briefing for an unexpected mission? He better stand 5 feet back after he shakes the Scot awake.

Simon is literally the only one not afraid of Soaps wrath during the early hours of the day.

Even Price usually sends Ghost to wake him if he needs him.

My friend is currently crashing out bc shes found a fic written by someone that has said in their authors note "theyve not seen the source material and have no plans to but have read multiple fics about it" and im sitting here laughing bc damn first time?

Echo is the rule follower, the twin that listens and follows every order issued, following every rule very seriously.

He’s mesmerized the entirety of the reg manual. Tell him a page number, and he’ll recite it word for word. It’s where he got his name from after all.

He also knows every loophole.

When Fives comes giddily up to him with a prank or something that is very much breaking the rules, he doesn’t discourage the other, instead telling his ori’vod all the ways he can do it without going against anything. Shinies, even just regular troopers, come to him on ways to bypass the system, and he happily tells them, with a price of course.

It’s to the point where Rex has to make new rules that specifically counter the loopholes because the 501st Legion was already utter chaos before. He doesn’t need to deal with this too.

He ends up having to deal with it because Echo, in some fucking way, managed to find loopholes to those. He shows Rex all of them too, happily, like this is a game and he’s enjoying every second of it; which going from somewhere that barely allows you to so much as breath wrong, to somewhere that excuses most as long as they don’t cause actual harm, is a freedom he’s never had.

Rex is so done, but he can’t hide the amusement it brings whenever the younger Domino does it, especially when it’s to Anakin.

Echo and Fox would be a deadly duo. This gives both Rex and Fives nightmares.
