Okay, I'm gonna say this because I keep seeingshit pop up. Ace and aros are lgbt. The Idea that they don't experience the same kind of oppression or that they're just cishets trying to worm their way in lgbt spaces is something exclues came up with to try to justify their own Ideas. Ace people are often ignored, same for aros people. And as someone who is in the ace spectrum, yes we get told we're not ace. I've been told I just need to meet the right person, I'm too young, it's just my meds. It happens. On a related note, demi, litho, and other ace-spec and aro-spec Identities are real. Just because they came out of a roleplaying server or something doesn't mean they don't exist. Also, I get it, no one wants to immediately have sex with someone, but that's not what demisexuality is about. Stop misinterpreting Identities, read some definitions! Or see how people define their identity! Ace and aro people have been around a long time too. Stop treating us like we're the red haired step sibling.

Why the hell are the exclus, or whatever they’re called now days, still assuming that an asexual person is hetero, just by being asexual? Like, no, someone actually has to identify as a heteromantic asexual to be “het,” otherwise they are JUST ASEXUAL.

I get it, y’all can’t grasp what a lack of attraction is like, but that doesn’t mean you can go around forcing attraction labels on people, yeesh. And of course, who an asexual person may or may not date is none of your fucking business. Dating people doesn’t dictate sexual attraction. (Remember how bi people are still bi? Yeah, it’s like that.)

And don’t waste my time with your “whaa I can’t understand why someone would date people they’re not sexually attracted to,” bullshit. I don’t give a shit that you feel like you need to pry into, and/or speculate on other people’s relationships like that. Fuck off.
