What if it's not Alastor's fault
so something i've noticed while being online, comics, edits. animatics.
is that alot of theories or headcanons is that it's alastor's fault for whatever happened between him and Vox. each version different but seems to follow a pattern of 'alastor and vox were friends' or 'Alastor mentors Vox' 'Vox falls in love' and then Alastor just randomly ditches him, turns out alastor was just using Vox or something similar.
JUST A NOTE, I AM NOT HATING ON THOSE CREATORS! they can make whatever they want! ABSOLUTLY NO HATE FROM ME.
but like..what if it's not alastor's fault?
what if they were friends or whatever, and vox falls in love. yes. but what if Vox tried to push for a physical, sexually relationship. and we all know Alastor is canon Asexual.
Asexual differes from person to person, some asexual's do have sex but it mostly means it's not our main thought on what attratchs.
so what if Vox tried to push for a physical relationship, and Alastor naturally denied it. but what if the whole reason their relationship was destroyed was because....Vox couldn't respect that about Alastor.
i mean, just LOOK who Vox ends up with. Valentino. I absolutly without a doubt believe Valentino would be someone who wouldn't believe Asexuality is a thing. he'd be the type to say asexual's are just prudes, or just need to 'get over it'
so he probably talked Vox into the same mindset. and naturally. Alastor would never want to be around Vox again.
because that HURTS. having someone you trusted or thought you were friends with turn around and say your sexuality is fake or not real.
I'm asexual, someone once told me i just needed to do it, and then he joked he was gonna hire guys to break into my house and r***e me and then i'd like it.
So, yea. what if it's not Alastor's fault that he and Vox ended up in this hate rivalry. what if it's Vox.
