I think creatives forget that once they release their work, it is no longer just their’s. It’s the fan’s too.

As a creator, you are giving your passion projects to the world in hopes others love it as much as you do, but you don’t get to control HOW they love it.

Yes you made it, you set forth the snowball effect but THEY built community around your work! THEY give you to ability to keep creating for THEM!! You don’t get to say how to love your work, how to interact with it, and you definitely don’t get to chastise them when they headcannon something your personally didn’t write.

It would be so flattering for anyone to love anything I have written to the point of creation! To the point of drawing fanart, writing fan fiction, discussing headcannons and shipping characters, even if I didn’t agree with or write the characters that way!

It is the greatest privilege and joy in the world to have people love the characters and world you created, their love gave you everything.

All of this to say: Fuck Christian Linke, from an asexual (but still lesbian!!), disabled creative!

So like spoilers for the satire au fic that I'm writing? Even tho only 2 people are reading it and i have explained this to one of them in detail BUT

(for ppl that don't know, basically this fic is What If Nola And Clara Had To Save The Day? For Mabel pod but it's also like What Happened To Juniper Pre-Me-Getting-Patreon-And-Actually-Finding-Out BUT i already got attached to this version and she's like Necessary for the story so (also for context, basically Juniper has been trapped in loops like Thomas except bc she's not human, instead of being all the time, it's only whenever shes in a place or with a person that triggers a memory and Lily is the one who trapped her))

So this is from a scene that is gonna happen WAYYY later on where the find Lily in the shed, that's the first picture, Juniper sees Lily for the first time since getting unstuck. Lily, who has been trying to find a way to get back to Juniper ever since they broke up, is crying and apologizing to Juniper who is FURIOUS of course and says, "YOU SELFISH BITCH! YOU TRAPPED ME IN A LOOP FOR YEARS, AND YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S CRYING?" And she decks Lily in the face. Lily, bloodied nose, isn't crying anymore. Thats the second picture. She's PISSED there is also an au of an au where juniper straight up murders lily on the spot but that's for another time. Also also an au of an au is juniper still being unstuck when she sees lily again and of course she reverts back to her younger self (in this, whenever a loop starts she ages back down to whatever age she was when the memory was created) and i literally am not sure what lily's deal is yet for this, like how is she alive? Idk i write it one chapter at a time but lily coming back has too much angst for me not to plan it

Hmm, how about Miervaldis, since I haven’t written much for him?

Mierv comes from a large family of Rymrgand worshipers in the White that Wends, and when he started having visions his family took it as a sign he would be an important Rymrgandan (?) priest. When he realized those visions were coming from Berath and promptly became Berathian, it was a bit of scandal. It also put some strain on a relationship he had going on with another priest at the time, and the two eventually split up to go on separate pilgrimages.

(He does get some resolution there eventually - they meet back up during Beast of Winter, and there’s initially more frustration over Mierv being called Duskspeaker and his ex trying to get him to convert back, but they actually talk things out and part ways relatively amicably)
