i hope truly ableist radfems choke on their own shit. and i'm saying this as someone rad-leaning who met really awesome disabled gyns.
before you make an imaginary version of a righteous radfem or other counterculture feminist simply critiquing someone's bad behavior, i need you to understand and actually confront within yourself and your spaces that way too many ppl in the world in general are ableist as fuck towards especially physically disabled people, neurodivergent people & those with "scary" mental disorders. radfem spaces aren't immune to this. every single kind of space has a special brand of ableism to it that needs to be examined, and criticizing radblr's brand of it is smth i can do in the same breath as with grander leftist spaces and with rightwingers. You Are Not Immune To Ableism. and yes, i'm saying this to ppl who may also be disabled invisibly, or neurodivergent but still able to hold a job/go to school/look "normal" so they can weaponize their disabled/neurodivergent status against those who are disabled in a way they find cringe, needy, lazy, etc.
good rule of thumb is if your rightwing uncle, who refuses mental health treatment & makes his disability worse by "pulling himself by the bootstraps" 24/7, or your r-slur loving cousin who bullies all the autistic kids at school and throws rocks at wheelchairs would laugh along if you said smth about disabled folks... you're probably acting like an ableist asshole and making things worse for ppl like me. and no, you don't get a free pass just bc the person is a disabled dude. you're still making my life as a visibly disabled woman worse. shut up.
