I don't post about my Monster Hunter commissions because I don't want to clutter this blog, but I realized I don't have any posts about my shadowboxes! (And I do so enjoy making them.)

I truly believe that Shen Jiu could never have been happy in the original pidw universe as it is. He likes (or more like he is comfortable in) his suffering and will do nothing to relieve himself of it. The only way he could be happy is with some sort of outside help which he will never reach for and no one will ever give him.

HERO'SBLADE HERO'SBORN- a pursuitcore theory

Ok so I was wondering why Vinnie's venom is called that, it can't be venom, it's not injected.

This then led me to realize that both Vinnie and Dante share terminator hit vfx.

Why wouldn't they? They're brothers after all. But then I remembered that, yk, Vinnie USES VENOM.

IS THE HERO'SBLADE VENOMOUS???? IT CAN'T BE RIGHT???

Why would it be venomous?? What if it needs to protect itself?

Ok so the venom is a protection mechanism, what about Vinnie's venom?

Considering Dante's old design before pursuitcore..What if Vinnie split off from Dante? (For context: There was an 'x' on Dante's tail and there was art of halo-less Vinnie where he was the size of a goomba and armless)

Now how would that happen? The HERO'SBLADE made Vinnie, a forceful reproduction and had him grow on Dante's tail till he was strong enough to tough it out on his own.

Now why would it make a virus? BECAUSE IT IS ONE.

To spell out this theory in one sentence:

The HEROSBLADE is a virus that parasites onto unsuspecting Users via posing as an artifact, it uses Users as a protection tool, bolstering them by letting them use it's power, it reproduces by using the body of the host to make more viruses.
