Annael & Tuor
Tuor’s cry broke the snowy silence. Annael held him close.
Rían hesitated.
Stay, his heart said again, hope welling.
An Open Longing by @emyn-arnens
Rían's Death of the Spirit
Something a bit more somber for today's @tolkienwomensweek contribution-- and my favorite out of the drawings I have made for the event. Rían's death has always made me so sad... just thinking of her falling so deep into despair.
Annael beckoning her to simply look at her child or hold him, but she cannot bring herself to do so. All she can think of is the war... and her lost love, whom she longs to join.
My second submission for @fall-for-tolkien's Scribbles and Drabbles event, featuring Annael, Rian, and baby Tuor! I don't often see content with these three, so I thought I'd give them some spotlight! Drawing baby Tuor was lots of fun, he's just so squishy cute! XD
This is too funny I can’t stop laughing so I drew this✌️
as much as I like the culture clash of Tuor coming to Gondolin, wouldn’t it be so much funnier if Annael had taught Tuor all their Elvish customs and language
just
Turgon and various lords™️: oh no! poor confused Edain! we must provide for him!
Classically educated Tuor: hello mine fine gentlemen. I come bearing news from thy good Gods.
Namo Pronounces Gay Dooms Upon the Eldar
by TheSummerestSolstice (@thesummerestsolstice)
For eleven months of the year, Namo is a serious, mysterious sayer of dooms. But for Pride Month, he takes a break from all that, and only foretells gay dooms. Or: Namo celebrates Pride Month in his own way throughout the ages of Arda.
