Just an ordinary day at Anteiku (X)
👀☕
I'd like to request headcanons of Touka x Classmate F!Reader. Can be Shcool or University
But the reader has been trained or is under training to be a part of one of the many Anti-Ghoul forces in TG(could be CCG, Sunlit Garden, V, maybe actual Japanese military or foreign hunters like from China or Germany). But at the start neither knows their roles/whole truth. And by the end they still stay together as a couple.
So I guess Angst and Fluff. Sorry if the options are broad but I'd like seeing your personalized take on it.
Heyy, I went with the reader becoming apart of CCG I and hope you like what I cooked up and thank you for requesting! :3
Dw I get you, sorry for replying so late
Themes: romance, fluff, angst, mention of an argument, 3rd pov, use of Y/N
- At the start of the school year, Touka was perceived by almost everyone as the angry loner who easily lost her temper, and most were too intimidated by her to try to form a conversation, one sharp look from her sending them scrambling away.
- That was, however, until Y/N came along and, undeterred by the dark haired girls harsh glares and temperamental attitude, struck up a gradual friendship with her, being the one who also introduced Yoriko to her, the three of them forming an unstoppable trio.
- Although the relationship between the three girls remained platonic, the relationship between Touka and Y/N developed into something more before they both eventually confessed to one another at the end of their first year, and became an official item by their second year.
- High school passed by in a flash and Touka and Y/N stayed going strong, walking each other to class, sneaking kisses in the hallway, and making even those who ridiculed their relationship jealous of their young love.
- However, the transition into university changed all of that.
- Unbeknowst to one another, the two girls were both keeping one, deadly secret from the other - Touka was a ghoul trying to blend in as a human; Y/N was apart of a family who all worked at the CCG where she, too, was hoping to work.
- Of course, Touka had known she was gambling with her life when she became romantically involved with a human, but hadn’t expected, or even thought, that her beloved would become one of those she hated.
- And so, their first real argument passed and, if it had been anyone else, they probably would’ve called it quits right there and then, giving in to society’s self-proclaimed rule that humans and ghouls were natural enemies.
- But, Touka and Y/N weren’t anybody else.
- It began when Y/N called Touka over to her apartment, wanting to share the good news that she’d been accepted into the CCG as a rookie officer, expecting her girlfriend to be happy and congratulate her.
- …Not for Touka to freeze and grow angry, demanding to know why Y/N chose to join the anti-ghoul organisation.
- After swapping harsh words for the better half of 30 minutes, Y/N wanting to know why the other felt so strongly about it; Touka cussing out the ghoul investigators as the former came to a startling realisation.
- “You’re a ghoul, aren’t you?”
- Touka tried to answer, but didn’t know what to say, giving the human girl the confirmation she needed.
- After that, they became distant, but didn’t officially break up.
- Y/N often lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, wondering if their whole relationship had been a lie.
- But, then, why hadn’t Touka used her for a meal if she was like the ghouls Y/N had continuously heard about?
- Why had she pursued a relationship with a human, knowing the risk she was taking?
- Y/N knew the answer, of course.
- Months passed and she began her career as a CCG investigator, though the more she worked, the more she realised how unjust the system could be, going after anyone who was a ghoul regardless of whether they truly were a threat, or just wanted to live a peaceful life.
- She tried to slowly change their ways, solely targeting ghouls who had no care for either ghoul or human life and murdered aimlessly, though not everyone in the company agreed with her view.
- It was around this time that she began to yearn for Touka, who had never caused her any harm and was one of those Y/N wanted to protect rather than kill, wanting to hold and be held by the dark haired woman again.
- After debating it in her mind, she made up her choice and walked to Anteiku, wanting to properly patch things up with her girlfriend before either of them had time to move on.
- During their hours-long talk in an isolated area of the café, Y/N confessed how being apart of the CCG wasn’t what she’d expected and believed in only eliminating ghouls who were maniacal killers, like how the human police detained murderers, and would never hurt Touka or any other ghouls they knew.
- Touka, too, confessed her surprise at her lovers still good-natured attitude, despite her workforce, and also promised to never go after Y/N or the other investigators trying to be as good as they could, their conversation ending with a longed-for kiss.
- And, so, one of the first, more recent human-ghoul relationships came to be.
- Y/N truly had been right - she loved Touka; Touka loved her.

Uta from his side again, just sexier😈
Trying to revive his fandom here, lol xddd
I excavated something from my google docs, its a TG fanfic I never got around to posting. Mostly because I think I had more planned for it? If i did I don't remember what
Anyway I'm pretty sure the brain worn originated from the way Yoshimura treated the staff at Anteiku.
AND YES I KNOW THE GRAMMAR IS SHIT THIS IS LIKE FIVE YEARS OLD LEAVE ME ALONE
-----------------
The rain pelts softly against the giant glass windows. The sound is soothing and calms the man as he cleans. The soft clinking of glasses and teacups fills the space. The man hums a low melody as he polishes each glass witch care, lifting them up to the light as to inspect his work. Its only him here, his own little safe heaven. He enjoys having the humans over during the day, but nights like these are best spent alone he thinks.
He sets the last cup down on the shelf and grabs an old rag, fingers absentmindedly rubbing over the worn fabric as he walks around the counters. His back is starting to ache, an old injury that his younger self never let heal properly. He continues to hum the same melody as he bends to clean the tables. Its never quiet in the city, if he listens beyond the rain he can hear cars driving by and children playing. He frowns. Parents shouldn’t let their kids be outside this late, its dangerous.
He sweeps his hand in slow circles, watching as the coffee stains disappear. He stretches his back when he stands up straight again. Still humming as he walks back to the counter.
Yes, nights like these are best spent in solitude.
The man doesn’t know why he invited the stray into his home. That’s a lie. Its the guilt. He saw past their violent tendencies and, saw a lost child trying to survive. And the guilt-
Enji was his name, or the devil ape as he called himself. It hadn’t taken to much convincing to get the boy to come work with him, the promise of a steadfast ‘home’ was almost enticing enough. The hard part had been tracking him down. Between his rivalry with the black dogs and his squabble of followers, or were they his friends? He still doesn’t know, although the boy still sometimes seeks them out.
It took time but the boy calmed, his laughter and jokes came echoing through the previously silent halls. He still had a fight in him, some days were worse than others but he was getting there. He was able to handle the difficult customers without blowing a fuse.
Now, the quiet clinking of glasses are accompanied by lighthearted chatter. The boy talks nonstop and the man couldn’t find it in himself to be annoyed at the lack of stillness tonight. Not with the child happily chattering away as he wiped the tables.
-
The boys ‘rival’ was next, the girl had come crashing into the shop late one night in search of a fight. She’d found one too.
They’d fought like cats and dogs until the he pulled them apart. The boy had tried his best to limit the damage to one area, to minimal success. His shop was a mess of broken tables and glass. He bent down to pick up a broken piece of ceramic. The boy standing slightly behind him.
He’d informed the girl then, that she’d either be staying here. Working with them, making up for the damage she caused, or, she could go back to wherever she came from.
She’d reluctantly chosen to stay, glaring daggers at the both of them as he handed her a broom. The boy eyed her expectantly and the man smiled and nodded at her as she started to sweep.
The man had expected her to flee into the night as soon as the mess was cleaned, and he was right. She’d thrown the broom at the boy and tailed it out of the shop. He asked the boy why they were fighting. Some old feud he’d said, glancing down.
The girl didn’t show up again, but the man could feel eyes watching him at times. Enji hadn’t mentioned running into her or her group either.
Then she’d showed up, bright and early when he was just about to open the café - One of the few days the boy wasn’t helping him. – She’d tested him then, and he’d made sure he passed.
Kaya was a hot tempered one. It took months and lots of patience, lots of patience, for her to start settling. When she finally did, it was like a whole other person took her place. She displayed infinite patience with rude customers and cunning wit that matched they boy. Once they stopped tiptoeing around each other they got along surprisingly well. Trading insults and compliments alike.
He didn’t bother containing his smile as he watched the two of them work. Weather they realized it or not they filled his home with something he didn’t realize was missing
-
The third stray he had to drag back to his shop. The boy kicking and fighting him the whole way. They were both covered in the boys blood by the time they made it to the shop. The injured boy passed out as soon as his head hit one of the spare beds. The man worried, the boy was young and oh so angry. He’d fought like a wild animal with little regard for his own safety and against such a seasoned investigator. It was basically suicide, and he had the wounds to show for it.
The first night was spent worrying weather the boy would survive or not. He was deathly pale, Enji joked that maybe that was just how he was supposed to look. Pale.
The calm ended as soon as the boy woke up. It was early in the evening, he shot out of bed with the same speed the man had observed him capable of, but he was still injured and it had been easy for Enji to catch him.
He’d raised hell. Taking every opportunity to try and leave. Even if it mean ripping open his wounds again. Both Kaya and Enji side eyed him when he told them to give the boy time.
And he needed time, a lot of time.
He was always picking fights over the smallest of things, his patience basically non-existant. He’d tried teaching the boy ways to manage his anger but to no avail. His stubbornness was the stuff of legends. Even when he managed to be somewhat calm the smallest thing would set him off. Yet he never left Anteiku. Which the man thought was a good a sign as any to keep pushing. Even when he wanted to give up
The leader of the 4th ward would come around sometimes too. The ghoul had sauntered into his shop asking for his ‘renji-kun’. The same ghoul that had been involved in whatever they were doing trying to kill so many seasoned investigators.
He’d walked up the stairs to Renji’s room, dodging the object and words thrown at him when the door opened, and informed him of the visitor.
He’d stood at the end of the hallway and listened. His trained hearing picking up snippets of their conversation. He walked away once he’d confirmed they were friends. Or at least not actively trying to kill one another.
Renji mellowed out too. Eventually. Although never quite enough to work at the front counter. He was excellent at making coffee, just not the customer part and the old man was content to let him do the heavy lifting behind the scenes. The boy racked up customer complaints like it was a competition. He pretended he didn’t see the tally board Enji put up in the back room.
-
The next two were brought to his attention by Renji, two young ghouls. Renji went quiet when he started asking questions.
Touka and Ayato were their names. It became obvious to him then why Renji had wanted him to seek them out. He didn’t pry, as long as it didn’t cause any problems he was going to let them solve it on their own.
Only Ayato didn’t stay. He snuck out in the middle of the night. Touka was distraught but told him they’d been arguing the night before. He comforted and reassured her the best he could. He half expected her to run off after her brother.
But Touka stayed. Everyone at the café did their best to be welcoming, even when the girl was less than pleasant back. He was proud of the three strays. Proud of how far they’d come. He knew they’d set a good example for Touka.
He also tried his best to keep an eye out for Ayato. Making sure he was alive and relatively safe.
Touka flourished under the care of everyone at Anteiku. He helper her enroll in the nearby school and taught her to work at the café. Enji, Kaya and Renji all did their best to help her with what they could, taking over her shifts and encouraging her to take breaks between study sessions. The girl often got annoyed at their near constant ‘fussing’ and hissed insults and the like. Which had close to zero effect, Enji just laughed it off and redoubled his efforts in coddling her. Kaya just shook her head and continued and Renji didn’t react at all, just continued whatever he was doing for her.
She made a friend there. A human girl. He warned her time and time again of the dangers. He hadn’t survived this long by trusting humans.
It was during one of those conversations Touka broke. Her façade of stone crumbling. She’d screamed at him. Ripping her chest open and dropping her heart at his feet. She’d screamed about her parents, the betrayal of a close friend. The foggy face of a loved one she was too young to remember. About how scared she was for her brother, for herself. How everyone she’d ever cared about had left her.
The old man had comforted her then. Like he had done his three strays before her.
