Ottawa: Today is now unofficially "Celebrate Canadian Micronations" Day! Of course nobody can be publicly recognized as an independent country, but we should still celebrate them! Micronations include: the Aerican Empire, the Kingdom of Vikesland, and the Republic of Kanata! They've come so far, even if it's all in vain! so it’s really cold back home, I hear. we’re colder than the north AND the south pole rn.

the strathcona refinery recently attracted the attention of blogTO and quatsch didn’t even have to look at the article about the STRANGE MYSTERIOUS LIGHT IN CANADA she was just like ‘oh its the refinery it does that’ 

cbc says that the extreme temperatures just make it look bigger than normal but its fine
