Read about my cat Mr. Susan and her medical journey and recovery over the past 3 months:
About 3 months ago Susan got out during a storm, she came back at 1:30am with 2 pelvic fractures and a complete and total tail pull, a tail pull is when they tail is completely dislocated from the base of an animals spine. I do not know what happened to her or the ordeal she went through, but this is where our medical journey began.
I took Susan to my work to be assessed immediately, I was told that with these kind of injuries, any form of recovery is extremely rare, because when the tail is completely separated from the spine, it damages the nerves that control the bladder, and bowel movements.
I was not ready to give up on my Mr. Susan, I refused, I wanted to give her the best possible chance of survival and recovery. We hospitalized her for about 2 weeks, were she was monitored 24/7. She slowly started to regain her strength.
I took her home to a familiar environment, and Susan started to regain control of her bladder and bowels, with this spark of hope we set a date to amputate her limp tail, after the surgery, her healing process continued.
Susan slowly started walking better and better as her pelvic fractures healed, as her gait slowly improved so did her bladder and bowel control. She was able to use the litter box on her own, only having accidents occasionally.
Fast forward to now, and Mr. Susan is healed and thriving!! She fought hard and beat the odds against her.
She will continue to struggle with random incontinence her entire life due to the severity of nerve damage she endured. However, she is alive and living her best life.
She has inspired me in so many ways, I hope she inspires you all.
If you would like to donate to help Susan's accumulated medical debt, or just share her story we greatly appreciate any and all help to get Susan's story out there.
I hope Mr. Susan inspires you all like she did me.
Hey there! I wanted to share a GoFundMe for Mr. Susan, who recently went through a tough time with serious injuries. Every donation, no matter how small, will really help with her medical bills and ongoing care. If you can, please consider donating or sharing the link below. Thank you!
Why is asking for help so hard? Because our little childhood voices, that asked for help so many times, were often ignored, minimized and even punished, when the way we asked for help was not calm, respectful and polite. But whispering from the bottom of the well never saved anyone. The societal condemnation around a need for community is possibly why so many of us feel like we are imposing when we ask for support. Instead we use passive aggressive sighs and comments to try and get our needs met. If we want our children to be authentic and transparent in communicating their needs, we need to model doing the same.” J. Milburn PRE-ORDER NOW AVAILABLE!! 1/2 Price when pre-ordered. That’s right! When Ibn Abi Hatim asked The Messenger of Allah ﷺ what Al-Ithm was. Ithm in arabic is إثم , and its means 'sin'. This hadith regarding what the Ism is, was recorded by Imam Muslim in his hadith book. May all of us be able to recognise our faults and mistakes, stop the evil, repent for doing them in the past, avoid it in the presnt and never do it in the future. O Allah, indeed to you we submit as Muslim, You are the only one we rely on, You are the forgiver, So forgive us. . . . . . . . . #dua #supplication #ask #askingforhelp #help #forallah #foryou #forgiveness #forgive #righteous #muslim #muslimah #allahﷻ #allah #islam #lovesallah #islammotivation #islamicreminders #remindertoself #jannah https://www.instagram.com/p/CMPb084FdYa/?igshid=rvkztdyeqt7l

The best of duas to be asked for. ❤ We as humans are so faulty and sinful. We do a lot of errors and slip off and commit a lot of sins. Yet Allah shows His mercy and keeps forgiveness as long as a person realises his mistake and repents for it and abstains from it Indeed, Allah is the acceptance of repentance. Share the good. May this be a form of sadaqathul Jaariyah for all of us. . . . . . . #islam #dua #supplication #askingforhelp #help #pardon #pandemic #protection #learning #repentance #astagfirullah #istighfar #repent #repentingmuslim #islam #the_daily_quranic_verses #seekhelp #ramadan2021 #ramadan1442 #ramadhan https://www.instagram.com/p/COZJB3KhIVR/?igshid=qrxl7u5teeo1
