Toa Takanuva

Takua was an Av-Matoran who was taken from his homeland during the Time Slip and placed in Ta-Metru. He later lived in Ta-Koro after the Great Cataclysm, and led the life of a wanderer and adventurer. The discovery of the Kanohi Avohkii, the Mask of Light, revealed him to be the Herald, meant to discover the Toa of Light. The actions of Makuta Teridax resulted in the death of his best friend Jaller, causing Takua to realize that he was destined to be the seventh Toa. He donned the Avohkii and transformed into a Toa, renaming himself Takanuva.

Teridax, the Makuta of Metru Nui and the Makuta of Mata Nui (better known as the Makuta or simply Makuta), also called the Dark One or the Master of Shadows, was an extremely powerful Makuta and former leader and member of the Brotherhood of Makuta. He successfully orchestrated a master plot to overthrow the Great Spirit Mata Nui and seized control of the Matoran Universe. He later engaged Mata Nui in battle on Bara Magna but was destroyed after unwittingly helping to restore Spherus Magna.

There's something so appealing about the dichotomy between light and sound and Av-Matoran vs. De-Matoran colour schemes. Where Av-Matoran can literally be any colour of the rainbow and beyond, while De-Matoran are monochrome. Especially when also considering that Shadow Matoran are just as colourful as Av-Matoran.

Something something in Bionicle Elemental Shadow is more of a perversion of Elemental Light than an inversion, and Elemental Sonics is its true equal and opposite counterpart.

Bionicle fanfiction Idea:

An Av Matoran wakes up one day and all of his friends are gone. He tries to look for them, but all of the exits to the cave he live in have full on disappeared.

At the end, it would be revealed that this was just a whole flippin’ dream he was having as he transformed into a Bohrok. Even though the transformation takes place over 3 seconds, the dream would feel like it took place over 3 hours-or even days in his head!

The colors red and blue would be a motif (representing Cahdok and Gahdok). Heck, maybe they’d even appear in the form of uncanny aberrations of a Ta and Ga Matoran respectively. Gahdok would try and calm him in order to get him to submit more willingly, while Cahdok would take a more aggressive approach.

The both of them would baby him (for self explanatory reasons.)

A COLLECTION OF MELUS! So Melu's my SelfMOC, one of them anyways. He's a Le-Matoran who becomes a Toa. A while back I decided to do designs of what Melu would look like in different Matoran and Toa Builds, and decided recently to update them.

I'm really happy with how all of these came out looking, especially the Hordika and Mistika builds for the Toa, and the Mahri and Shadow Matoran builds for the Matoran.

Here's the originals if you wanted to see them. I didn't have the AV-Matoran, Shadow Matoran, Phantoka, or Mistika builds with them tho. Some of them really only changed in terms of color. Originally I made them trying to stick to the OG Melu's color scheme and placement, but when I went back and updated them I decided to try and emulate the original color aesthetics of the builds they're based on.
