Um that’s all I have to say so enjoy!!!
“What’s you name.”
She looked up at him. Fire reigned down on their little village, screeching was heard from every creature, yet this monster was concerned about her name.
Her sister’s were bound and gagged behind her. Sasha, before a rag was wrapped round her mouth had shouted at her.
”Be strong.”
That’s exactly what she’s doing. She’s being strong.
“You may as well cut out my tongue.”
He smacked her across her face but didn’t ask again.
“Do you know who I am?”
Everybody knew who he was. He was Ordour, conquerer of lands, extinguishing all traces of magic that could be found.
She knew her and her sister would one day face him, but she did not think it would be so soon.
“A fool.”
He’s about to strike her again when a boney, pale hand stops him.
The greatest wielder of power ever to be known, Mother Luna stood tall and proud beside her son.
When she was little, the woman of the house used to gather all six of them around and tell them stories of old.
She told them about a woman who ripped her own husbands heart out to feel his magic. That she sacrificed her firstborn to wield celestial might. That one day, her and her second born would come for them and when they did, they should surrender quietly.
“She eats magic wielders to fuel her, and you girls, you girls have the greatest gifts of all.”
That warning echoes in her head as she’s being weighed up by this monster. How many planets has she destroyed? How many lands has she walked and left suffering in her wake.
Hundreds, thousands, millions? This woman was as old as the universe herself.
Their eyes meet.
“This one has the power of the soul. A little added bonus to that power is that she can give prophecies. Tell me child, what does the future have in store for you.”
She plays it off as teasing but she sees the hungry gleam in her eyes, she wants to know.
Prophecy was an added bonus to her powers. She controlled everything that had a soul, so in theory, she could control everything.
Margo’s power made people think they were in charge or that they were making good decisions, but hers? Her powers made them really feel it.
She made people believe they weren’t going to die when a sword was extending from their chest. She made people believe that what they were doing was right, even if it was so morally wrong.
She helped those she could, and for those who misplaced the throes of life, she would turn them into puppets.
“Death, that is all my future holds.”
The great mother tuts her head before grasping her by her chin.
“That was an obvious one. Give me a real prophecy now.”
She opens her mouth, she plans to give insult upon insult until her face is smashed in but that doesn’t happen. Instead, the very ground she’s kneeling on turns powerful, a great old wakes up far, far away and it wants to shine.
The words that come out are not her own. Smoke comes out of every crevice of her and she captures every ones attention. Even the ransacking stops to watch her.
“A child who will make a fatal mistake,
will soon be lost in the fabric of space,
when he arrives, you shall fall from grace,
it is far too late to change your fate.”
Once she stops it seems the whole world does too. She could play it off as some sort of joke but no one would believe her. Those words came from a higher up.
The Great Mother stands in shock looking at her. She expects her to kill right then and there but she doesn’t.
Minutes trickle by before she speaks. She points a finger towards a guard.
“You there. Take these girls, put them in the cart. They will come with us from now on.”
They spring into action but when one goes to grab her she stops him.
“No, not that little minx.”
They drag her sister’s away from her, fear glistening in their eyes before she’s forced back to look into the eyes of the hag.
“You my precious, are fit for a king.”
She looks at her son who watches apprehensively. Then his eyes gleam and a wicked smile etches itself onto his face.
“Ordour, take her in the town square. Lay her down and take what’s rightfully yours, as she is now a citizen of our new land. If a child takes, keep her as your wife. If one does not—“
She strokes her cheek while she’s still in fear.
“—I’ll make use of her.”
🕸️🕷️🕸️
“Pete?”
The voice ricochets off of every surface in his sterile room.
He doesn’t know how he manages it but he gets his tongue to move.
“Johnny.” He croaks out in disbelief.
“Oh thank god. REED ITS WORKING.” Johnny shouts in the distance.
If he was dumbstruck before he definitely is now. He is in the presence of Reed Richards, well, kinda. This has to count as something right?
“Pete hang in there just, DUDE—“
“Peter can you hear me?”
“Dr Richards?”
“Yes. Peter yo————got that?”
“Come again?”
“Stupid signal.” He murmured. Peter thought it was pretty good for cross dimensional service.
“Peter, what date is it over there?”
“Uhhh, I think it’s January 31st?”
“Ok, ok that’s good. Peter on February 30th you go to this exact location X 232 709———and you just stand there.”
“February 30th, that’s not a date?”
“Not here but over there it is.”
“There’s no way?”
“Freaky isn’t it?” Johnny gave his two cents somewhere behind Reed.
“Freaky indeed.” Reed said solemnly.
“And what am I supposed to do?”
“Stand———then Tony———get back soon.”
“Dr Richard’s?”
“———“
He could hear a sizzling in his ear before he quickly shot Little Legs out. He lands with a resounding sputter and a sad beep.
He goes to grab him when he realises what happened to the last thing he touched. He carefully places his hand flat down on the bed and waits, once nothing happens he peels himself off the wooden plank of a bed.
The door is firmly shut and he has just a sneaky suspicion that maybe, just maybe there’s an alarm.
He carefully pulls away the panel from the door, a string of wires following it as it leaves.
Ok he’s got this.
A painstakingly, long process of pulling each wire and crossing them to a new section just to not set off the stupid alarm and what the fuck were those coordinates anyway? No offence to Dr Richard’s but you’d think he could’ve elaborated and also…can you tell he’s a tad peeved?
His thoughts come to a close when the door flies open. He tip toes past the line. He can’t hear any noise so he assumes he’s in the clear. He can’t hear anyone else on this thing either. He’s alone for now.
The corridor is long and has a replica of the door he busted plastered on the left side. Each door is the same shape and same shade of white. Bit of originality would really spruce this place up, but he’s only a humble spider so nobody’s going to take interior tips from him.
On the right side is one, long pane of glass that gives you a view of the moon. Albeit it’s very far away but he doubts anyone would care about that because it’s the moon.
His breath leaves his lungs when he spots it. It’s magnificent, he almost forgot he’s in space. Then he remembers Space and her husband.
Wait, that’s what they had told him, was he fuck waiting for that shit show to reappear. He’d face them two again when he was on solid ground, where he can swing on trees and buildings instead of asteroids and comets.
He hopes Bee and Pietro understand.
The end of the corridor has a bright blue door with a orange sign hanging off of it.
DANGER
“Don’t mind if I do.” He mutters before taking apart this panel as well. Up until now he hasn’t spotted a security camera, hasn’t heard the tell tale whizz of the wire running back to its monitor.
When he enters this room it’s the same. Not a single camera to be seen or heard. It doesn’t put his heart at ease like you’d think.
It’s a large room that is hexagon shaped. Seats litter around a large table situated in the centre.
The room’s walls are entirely made of glass and he can clearly see that yup, he’s still up in space. He’s not judging, if he were to have a secret place like this, he’d want windows galore.
He wants to put his hand against the wall but fears it will leave prints. He makes his way over to the table instead.
He hovers around each chair, each and everyone identical to the last, minute detail. This place was one big mind fuck he decided.
He waves his hand over one of the seats.
Oops.
The whole place turns to life. Three large tubes emerge from the ground. The glass turns into monitors and the chairs submerge. The table collapses into the ground, causing a huge rectangular one to arise.
It moves on its own and suddenly he’s flooded with news reports pictures and video recordings.
One long article catches his eye.
“Joker spotted carrying weapons of mass execution. Brought in by the Outlaws and sanctioned to the old HQ after city laws have passed them through experimentation. A pain yet we must comply, for this Diana will make sure everything will run smoothly, meeting Hal at home base.”
It ends off there with a funny signature at the bottom.
Pictures, news paper clippings, reports and much more all hovered over the table. Peter had only ever seen stuff like this in Tony’s lab. Not even in the Bat Cave did he ever see anything as advanced as this. The Bat Computer rivalling Bruce in age.
“Hello.”
Peter jumps in the air, sticking to the ceiling. He throws his head behind him but nobody was there. He slowly makes his descent down.
“Hello…?” He waits for them to tell him more, give away something.
“Bat Voice. You can call me bat voice.”
“An AI.”
“At your service.”
“Bat Voice?” He questioned.
“Yes, you should remember, you did name me.”
“Right.” He trails off, Peter has had some shit name calls over the year but he thinks he could come up with something better than Bat Voice.
BV let out a pleased hum which he didn’t even think they were capable of.
“BV my memory’s a bit spotty, could you please point me to the exit.”
“Why of course Dick, right this way.”
Dick, she recognised him as Dick. She must’ve done a scan on him but if she was like Friday, then she would’ve saw that he’s only partially Dick. How outdated is this AI?
The glass now portrays brightly, coloured arrows, flashing to the three tubes.
He makes his way over, it would be rude not to, and peeks inside the tubes.
They seem like a trap but his senses aren’t alarming him. As quick as lightning he taps his toe at the base of the tube before yanking it backwards. Nothing happens.
“You seem to be having trouble getting in. Here, I’ll help.”
He kids you not, a giant claw comes out from the tubes and grabs him. He bends the thing in two but the door has already shut.
He pounds at it relentlessly but the metal holds up. Who was this built to contain.
“Not cool BV.”
The floor begins to creak.
“SO NOT FUCKING COOL.”
🕸️🕷️🕸️
“I can’t believe you lost him.”
“You lose him on a daily basis Tim.” Kon challenged.
“Not anymore.” He snapped back.
“Drake compose yourself.” Damian mutters, eyes trained on the computer. This past weekend has been…interesting to say the least.
One thing was made clear, Peter would have a tracker, whether he was made aware or not. Seriously, the Kryptonian had a point, they do lose Peter on…a bi-weekly basis. He wouldn’t go as far to say daily.
“Did you find anything.” Jon asks, bouncing on his heels behind Damian.
“Not yet. It’s almost like he’s disappeared.”
A whoosh and the other parts of Drake’s ensemble arrive.
“I can’t believe you got your ass beat by an Alien.”
“Can it Cass.” Kon grumbles out.
If Jon’s constant movement wasn’t bad enough, now he had a speedster behind him as well.
“Not a sign of him. Did get these though. Churro anyone.”
Cassie and Jon take one.
“Are you sure Dick doesn’t know?” Bart asked, mouth full. Disgusting.
“Positive.”
If Dick knew, they’d have found him by now but Damian was outvoted in that opinion.
“Will he not, you know, freak the fuck out and move away again?” Cass pointed out, a valid point at that.
The fear lurked in Damian. He felt bad for hiding this from Dick, yet he knew the frenzy that Dick would work up would rival one of his Dad’s.
Worry warts. His whole family were worry warts first and detectives second. God, maybe he should just take Peter to his mums. Let him try and escape then.
A loud beep sounds throughout the whole cave. A big, flashing WARNING graces his screen and interrupts all his progress.
Tim moves him slightly before taking over.
“What the fuck.”
UNAUTHORISED TRAVEL FROM NEW JLA HQ TO HALL OF JUSTICE.
Tim tries to pull up the footage but no luck. Cameras aren’t installed yet. The place shouldn’t even be capable to run.
“See here.” Tim hovers over the blue prints. “This is where the energy is stored, yet there’s nothing to power that box yet. So what did power it?”
“Peter.” Cass said. “That’s what powered it. You said he went up into space, it’s far too coincidental.”
“Oh my god Cass you’re actually right.” Kon exclaimed.
“Fuck off.” She said flicking him behind the ear.
“Wait, Peter is now travelling to the most crowded place in all of DC. Does he even know the building?” Bart asks finishing up his snack before stretching.
He locks eyes with Tim.
“Shit.” They both say.
“So what’s our plan?” Jon questions. “Are we gonna break into the Hall of Justice.” He says it with an air of concern. Kon slings an arm around him.
“Of course we’re not golden boy, isn’t that right Tim?”
He waggles his eyebrows at Tim, who somehow looks smitten and repulsed. Good god, raise the standards Tim. He’s wearing sunglasses indoors for gods sake.
“No we are breaking into the Hall of Justice. Alright guys suit up.”
“That…might just be the most cliche thing I’ve heard from you.” Bart announces heading towards the changing room.
“May I remind you all that he once said ‘I’m in’ when he was cracking a ‘top secret’ code.” Kon added in.
Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all.
“Cracking a code and it was the code to the microwave.” Jon snorted out.
Tim swung his fingers around the group.
“Bastards the lot of ye.”
“I didn’t even say anything.” Cass cried outraged. “Where’s Steph? She’ll save me.”
“She’s running Bee’s shop while she’s away.”
At the mention of Bee both him and Tim sober up. Bee had been in one of the houses that took a hit. Between Peter loosing Bee, kissing a blonde guy on the news and fighting devils spawn, also sprinkle in going to space and getting kidnapped he’s been having a pretty rough times.
So as he pulls on his suit he vows to be there for him if he needs.
🕸️🕷️🕸️
If he ever sees BV again he wants to say to them that hey, that actually wasn’t very kind, fun and fresh.
The floor opened up and zap, he was now in a men’s locker room? What’s worse is that there’s somebody in here.
Oh, no, no, no. Give him Shrikes, give him crooks and aliens, anything but this awkward encounter.
The whistling stops.
“Who’s there.” The man asks. Oh thank god he’s not in the women’s bathroom.
He takes that as his cue to reveal himself. He peeks out and waves at the…Flash?
It’s not Wally but an older one. He’s in a karate stance and Peter has to hold in his laugh.
“Hi.”
“Hi.”
They stare at each other.
“So…this is awkward.”
The Flash shakes his head, dispersing whatever thoughts were harassing him.
“Who are you.”
“I’m from the Daily Planet.”
He narrows his eyes.
“The Daily Planet?”
“Yuh huh.”
“And what are you doing in here?”
“To interview you.” He doesn’t know where this is going but he’s too deep now.
“In the man’s bathroom?” He said incredulously.
“It’s where all the dirt is found. So Flash, can I call you Flash?”
He perches himself on the sink and tries to look collected. The Flash is looking at him like he’s grown a second head, so he’s not really succeeding.
“Yes, considering that is my name. Wait a minute, how old are you?”
“Eighteen, I’m here with my school journaling club.”
“Is that even a thing?”
Is now.
“That’s rather insulting. I’d like to take a few moments of your time please.”
“Ok.” He says wearily. “In here?”
“Where else? What do you think about the Flash cleaning product.”
He looks put out before nodding along.
“Truly a crime in broad daylight, I’ve tried to sue but alas no luck.”
Peter shakes his head. “I am so sorry.”
“Shouldn’t you have a notepad?”
He taps the side of his skull.
“Next question. Rumoured affair with Batman, true or false.”
See he didn’t really have a plan, but he knew he wanted to distract him so thoroughly he’d forget about Peter’s appearance.
“False, if you ask me, him and Supes are the JLA couple.”
“Very good, very good. One last question, do you believe the state of our nation is at risk from the recent creatures that attacked Metropolis city? A city renowned for being Superman’s yet he wasn’t even seen help fight?”
“Oh-I—“
“Is it true you do not only have one secret HQ in the sky but a second one in the making?”
He moves from leaning against the wall to standing up.
“How do you—“
“Did you know that I know Bruce Wayne is Batman.”
He freezes and eyes Peter up.
“What are you.”
“His grandson.”
He doesn’t know why he said that. Why did he say that. God, why did he say that?!?
Because you’re tired, because you need help, you’re tired of running and you want to go home.
Oh.
So that’s why he said it.
It dawns on his face then, as he recognises the resemblance between them.
“You’re Dick’s kid.”
He gives him a bow. Flash lets out a sharp laugh before wiping his eyes.
“You had me scared kid. Still doesn’t explain why you’re here.”
“Eh long story. Batman is here though?”
“Yeah he is. Want me to take you to him?”
“Yuppa.”
So off they go. The past few minutes have been a fever dream but in the back of his mind, ever since his encounter with Space, he knows he can’t keep running, he knows he needs their help. He can’t do it alone.
They go through several corridors and once they reach a large, purple double door his senses are abused to the max.
Shouting and camera clicks fill the air. Flickering lights capture both him and the Flash. He cringes and covers his eyes.
“FLASH OVER HERE!”
“FLASH WHAT WERE THOSE THINGS?
“FLASH ARE WE SAFE?”
“SONNY OVER HERE.” A news reporter grabs him by the arm. A video recorder is being shoved in his face and a microphone placed under his nose.
“You’re on live TV, we need to hear from the youth on their ideas of the situation. Can you give us a minute of your time?”
“Yeah, sure.” Considering he coerced a interview from the Flash a few moments ago he thinks it’s only fair.
🕸️🕷️🕸️
“I don’t know, I just feel like they’re hiding something from me.” Dick sighed.
“I doubt they are.” Wally said soothingly, rubbing circles on his back.
He appreciated the gesture but his mind wouldn’t settle. He knew his family were hiding something from him. They’ve been a nervous wreck this entire week.
Every time Dick joins a conversation the topic is quickly changed or someone has to mysteriously leave. It’s been driving him absolutely insane.
Even Damian was hiding something from him. Usually all it took was for Dick to give him his ‘disappointed Bruce’ look and Damian would feel guilty. Sooner or later he’d squeal, too guilty to keep it from him. Not this time. Not even a pip from him.
Doesn’t help that he’s nervous about Peter. Yes, he knows that he’s alright. Even after fighting those creatures he had called Dick.
Maybe it’s all in his mind and he’s just a bit nervous. Maybe waybe.
He’s on edge, anybody could see that. Wally, being the best person ever, is trying his best to soothe him.
“Hey, don’t think about them. Let’s watch some TV, yeah?”
Wally fishes for the remote, delving deep into some couch cushions he’s had since he was eighteen. What a brave soul. He waves it around triumphantly once finding it and turns the telly on.
“Young man speak your truth.”
Dick nearly falls off the couch. Peter was standing there, looking like he’s seen better days with Barry behind him.
“These creatures that attacked seem to be dangerous, but I believe that our superhero’s will be able to save the day once again.”
“That’s very inspiring young man.”
Peter pretends to wipe a tear from his eye.
“I know.”
“So brave. And where were you at the time of the attack?”
“I was at the Superman rally.”
“Ohh right. Very good. Did you spot much action?”
“Yeah quite a bit. They really liked the ducks, tore through twenty of them.”
“Fascinating, well that’s all we have time for. Say, do you have any news to tell the folks at home.”
“Hmm. Well could I say something to my dad?”
Dick’s jaw falls open and he swears his heart freezes. He called him dad again, he called him again.
“Of course, go ahead.”
“Dad, turns out we have a secret relative on mum’s side, a cult of sorts is after my ass and…oh! I also like boys.”
“My, my. And would your dad be accepting of you?”
“Well he’s not really religious so.”
“No I meant the homosexuality part.”
“Well he’s gay himself so it would be a little hypocritical.”
“HEY ISN’T THAT THE WAYNE KID?” Someone shouts in the distance.
Peter swings his hand back and forth over his neck.
“Not that guy, many people say we look alike, sorry!”
The camera then turns away from Peter to a man in his forties.
“Well you’ve heard it here folks. The weather will be coming up next after this short break.”
True to his word an ad for Flash Ultra pops up on their screen.
They stew in silence before Wally approaches carefully.
“Dick?”
“Turns out they were hiding something from me.” He’s seeing red, he wouldn’t be surprised if there was smoke billowing from his ears.
“He seems to be…alright?” Wally says but Dick doesn’t hear him. He’s grabbing his keys and storming out.
“I’ll fucking kill them Wally, I’m serious.”
Wally let out a sigh.
“I don’t doubt that.”
🕸️🕷️🕸️
After his mini interview, he’s escorted towards the back of the building.
“Wait here ok? I’ll get gramps.” He snickers at that last bit.
“I can’t believe Batman is a grandad.”
“Neither can he.”
“You gotta do me a solid though.”
“What is it?”
“Have a root round Bruce’s stuff and see if you can find hair dye. I’ll give you 50 bucks.”
Out of all the things he could’ve asked, he didn’t expect that.
Peter let out a laugh before shaking his hand.
“Deal.”
“Hey you’re laughing now, but wait until you’re thirty with a few grey hairs and see a fifty year old without any grey hair. Suspicious if you ask me.”
Then he turns to leave, leaving Peter alone with his thought.
Today could’ve turned out a lot worse realistically. Considering his luck, he’s won the jack pot.
He keeps tapping his legs together. His thoughts mostly revolve around Bee. The shop, who will run it now? Can Peter even say he’s next of kin? How will Dick react once he finds out. He hopes he’s not too mad and Jason, well—
LOOK OUT
He lunges out the way, narrowly avoiding the debris that’s come flying at him. He looks to see what is it and is that the fucking Bat Mobile?
He can see Tim behind the wheel, Kon holding on for dear life in the back and some blonde girl squashed in between them. She waves at him like this is normal.
Tim rolls down his window.
“MOVE IT OR LOSE IT PARKER, WE HAVE TO MAKE IT BACK TO THE MANOR BEFORE DICK DOES.”
He doesn’t know why that calls for such a state of emergency that they needed to crash into a wall but oh well.
Only the top half of the car makes it through, meaning Tim has to back up for Peter, before he can clamber into the back.
Damian, Jon and this other dude greet him.
“Tim what the actual fuck.”
“Listen, we don’t have time for that. We need to GO.”
He hits the accelerator and he doesn’t even think their wheels are touching the ground they’re going that fast.
He squashes himself in between Damian and Jon.
“Hi again.” Jon greets him.
“Hey.”
Damain points to the boy and the girl. “Cassie Sandsmark, Amazonian, Bart Allen, Speedster.”
“Hey Peter, glad we didn’t hit ya!” Cassie calls from the front.
“Thanks?”
“See I told you he’d dodge it.” Called Tim from behind the wheel.
“Tt. Tim your means are unnecessary.”
“Eh potato, potatoe.”
Kon swears from the front seat.
“Cops.”
What’s more bizarre, cops pulling over the Bat Mobile or Tim actually pulling over for them?
All he knew was that a paper bag was quickly thrown over his face.
Tim rolls down his window to a middle aged man with a mean looking moustache.
“What seems to be the officer problem?”
“Excuse me?”
“It’s a reffer—ugh, never mind. Can we make this quick, we’re in a hurry.”
“Young man, don’t you know how many regulations you’ve just broken. Are you even old enough to have a license?”
“I’m eighteen.” Tim squawked out.
“Hmm.” He says disbelieving. “Well I still have to write you up. This will take at least ten minutes.”
“TEN MINUTES?, fuck that.”
He then proceeds to speed off. Leaving the flabbergasted cop behind.
“DRAKE.” Damian barked.
“What, it’s not like he’s going to follow the Bat Mobile? We’re even in costume. Don’t worry.”
That’s how, ladies and gents, he ended up on a high speed chase.
Twelve cars were now following them and Tim couldn’t seem to shake them.
“They’re getting closer.” Cass whined, leaning her head against Kon’s shoulder. “And I’m getting a cramp in my neck.”
Tim abruptly took a sharp left, which took them in the direction of the harbour.
“I still don’t know why we didn’t fly?” Jon said to no one in particular.
“Too time consuming.” Damian replied, brushing him off.
“Oh and this is not?” Peter deadpanned.
Damian stuck out his tongue at him.
They were getting really close to the harbour’s edge now. Like really close.
“Eh Tim?”
“Trust me.”
Safe to say that put no one at ease as they went hurtling over the edge into the icy depths.
🕸️🕷️🕸️
Soul cradled him in her arms. He’s the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen. A baby boy, she was initially surprised when she saw signs of her pregnancy. She did not believe it would take and yet he did, her little miracle child.
Yet there’s a part of her that wishes he was never born. As he’s not coming into a happy family or world. He’s coming into spite and war.
Yet she vows that she will do her best, will do her best to look after her child.
Her sisters are not able to come see the babe yet. Mother Luna keeping a tight eye on them.
Ordour enters the room and the nurses leave, tails tucked in between their legs. Smart girls, they would not want to face his wrath.
“Is it boy.” That was the first question his cold toned voice asked.
“Yes.” She whispers back, refusing him the joy of ruining her moment.
“Isn’t he beautiful.” He murmurs, voice suddenly soft as he strokes her hair behind her ear. She shudders as if a spider crawled down her back. She knew one didn’t, as they were banned in the palace.
Mother Luna’s greatest fear was spiders, with her nine months living here even the smallest of spiders got the torch. Nobody knew where this irrational fear stemmed but they weren’t going to question her.
She looks down at her boy and opens her mouth to reply and say yes, he’s the most beautiful creature to walk this earth and yet she can’t. She can’t remember what he looks like.
She is quickly ripped from that dream. She wakes kneeling on the ground, gasping for breath. He stands over her. A black chain linking them together, taunting her, reminding her that not even purgatory could she escape him.
“You took him from me.” She howled at him, slowly rising to her feet before she was knocked down by his hand.
“You’re getting weak.” He hissed at her. That made her get sense, she waved her hand and banished him to the back of her mind where he could rot.
He scratched at her skull, trying to free himself but with millenniums of dealing with him came practiced ease of pretending he wasn’t there.
Ordour still poisoned her and tested her resolve with every passing day. Yet they both knew that Mother Luna was long gone and could no longer help her precious son, and even if she were here, she would not be the biggest predator. No, that title belonged to her now.
Extra Thoughts: So…what do we think?
Hmmm, this chapter is a very much go with the flow one, I didn’t know what direction it was going to take me (like most of my works) so I may be severely regretting it in the morning.
I hope I didn’t over load with the soul stone stuff but I think I’m going to start adding to their backstories.
Guys, I learn my sources though TIK tok and fanfics, if the dynamics didn’t feel real or thougtj tat was out of character or anything TELL MOI!! I won’t take offence, like please :)
So yeah writing young justice and let’s just say I didn’t do them justice, no pun intended, buts it’s nearly eleven so that’s a tomoz problem.
I did a poll on tumblr and Flash was the winner, if you did vote him I bet that wasn’t what you had in mind for the encounter but that’s ok cause neither did I. Also another character who could be worked on with my writing!!…I should start making a list.
Anyway! Moving on, I hope this chapter is semi-decent and I will be re-reading over tomoz and posting it then on Tumblr
Anyway I hope everyone has a lovely week and until next time :D
