Yeah chucks death was sad but good god bens death broke my fucking heart, all of his friends sacrificed him because of something he couldn't control. He was begging for them to stop and not send him into the maze AND in the fever code Ben tells Thomas that his parents weren't even infected with the flare and he was taken from the safe havens for no fucking reason!???? RAHHHH I love Ben, he's one of my favorite characters ever and I think he needs soooooo much more attention cause he's such an interesting character 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

The greatest expression of love is joining someone else's fandom.

Just think about it for a while. First you have to consume the media the fandom is based off of, and while it's possible for it to just be one book or one movie, it's almost always a series. A lot of times there a book AND movie series.

But that isn't nearly enough. Having read or watched the Maze Runner doesn't mean you get the page 250 jokes. Reading Percy Jackson doesn't mean understanding "you drool in your sleep" and "you're not my type" (this one especially now with the casting for the series).

Also. We notice a ridiculous amount of breadcrumbs to defend any point possible (I've seen a PowerPoint presentation on Tumblr as to why the Gladers should say fuck).

And the amount of weird ship names is just ridiculous (there may be a reasonable justification, but wolfstar and rosekiller are just not intuitive), as well as random fixations on completely unimportant characters.

Here's a list of ones I can think of off the top of my head:

Evan Rosier, Barty Crouch Jr., Regulus Black, Pandora [last name unknown], Blaise (I forget the spelling) Zabini, Crabbe, Goyle, and Pansy Parkinson for Harry Potter. Ben, Nick, George, Stephen, Sonya, Harriet, and Rachel for the Maze Runner. Ethan Nakamura (I think he's more important but I can't remember), Kayla Knowles, Austin Lake, and Lee Fletcher for Percy Jackson.

If you just read the books once, you probably don't notice most of these characters.

Just in general there's so many inside jokes and references and quotes and concepts and fanon and headcanons, and all of it is would be so exhausting to keep up with if you weren't completely invested in this made up world some random person came up with.

Smiles to himself and watches you for a few moments. Then covers you with a blanket, especially if you’re only wearing his shirt.

Aris

Frozen in place, and kind of unsure what to do.

Asks you about it when you wake up.

Ben

“And what do we have here?” Leans against a door frame or a wall all cool like just so he can take it in.

Brenda

“No way.” Puts her hands on her hips, shaking her head, “You little rascal, well I’ll just have to take one of your shirts then.

Holds your favorite shirt ‘ransom’ till you give her back her shirt.

Clint

Dumbfounded, and says in his head ‘Y/n… is wearing my shirt? Mine?’

He really likes you wearing his shirt and offers to let you keep it once you wake up.

Frypan

Stops in his tracks and just sort of looks at you.

Smiles to himself, then walks over to kiss you on the head.

Gally

Leans on the doorframe, crossing his arms and just dmiring the view.

If you even move he will immediately leave, out of fear that you’ll catch him looking.

Harriet

Gently wakes you up with a hand on your shoulder.

“What’s this, angel? Miss me?” Offers to let you borrow her clothes all the time after that.

Jeff

“Oh wow!”

Slaps his hand over his mouth, but needs to get his energy out somehow so he does a little dance.

Minho

Surprsies himself with how much he likes to see you in his shirt, and ti makes him feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Newt

Just smiles to himself and continues on with what he was doing until you wake up.

He mentions it to you to gauge your reaction and reassures you you’re more than welcome to do it again.

Teresa

Shakes her head with a smile. “Could have just asked.”

Changes into one of your shirts and crawls into the bed next to you to cuddle.

Thomas

Tries to get in bed with you but wakes you up from jostling the bed so much.

Looks down at you with a dumb smile on his face, hovering over you, “You’re wearing my shirt!”

Sonya

Small gasp, then covering her mouth in fear that you might hear her. A little squeal and victory dance because Y/n is wearing her shirt.

Winston

Smirks to himself and shakes his head. Whispers out loud even though you can’t hear him, “Next time you can just ask.”
