Cuckootober day 9 - Pavonine cuckoo (Dromococcyx pavoninus)
One of only three of the cuckoos in the Americas who are obligate brood parasites. Unlike some cuckoos, its eggs aren't similar to those of its host. They have a cute ring of purple spots around the center you can see here.
