So I found out today that the black spot in my vision is officially permanent and that if my medicine doesn't start working again at a higher dose, then I will need a stent/shunt placed in my head. Brain surgery scares me so much, but it's impossible to function every day if I don't somehow get my head pressure managed 😞 send me positive vibes and well wishes pls, it sounds like I might need it 🖤

haha, of course, my period starts while all my other symptoms are flaring up 🫠 here come the debilitating cramps all the way down to my knees on top of everything else

My muscle spasms in my lips are making my piercing look like it's doing a little jig inside my lip 💀

I'm glad IIH is rare because I wish no one ever had to experience this, but I also wish I could just meet one person irl who has or is in remission from IIH so I'd have someone who understands and maybe then I wouldn't feel so alone in this illness.

You guys idk what to do, my medicine has stopped working, I'm on a higher dose now too and it still isn't working. My pulsatile tinnitus is back and the pressure in my head and neck feels so intense anytime I stand up and especially if I have to bend over for anything 🫠 I still can't even see a doctor yet because I still don't have insurance and I'm terrified that my last option after this medicine fails is brain surgery 😞 I'm terrified of that option especially because I have no insurance right now 💔

I'm going to have to go in for another spinal tap (I had one in June) because my brain pressure seems to be coming back :( I hope I don't get sick again. This will put a damper in my weight loss.
