These Cinnamon Roll Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting taste just like a regular cinnamon roll, but they are easy to make in the form of bars. It's great for dessert, breakfast, or brunch!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 large eggs. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 8 ounces cream cheese, softened. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Put flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl and mix them together. Add the softened butter and mix it in until the dough looks like big crumbs. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until everything is well mixed. Once the baking dish is ready, spread half of the batter out in it. Put brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and mix them together. Spread the cinnamon-sugar mix out evenly over the batter. Spoonfuls of the rest of the batter should be dropped on top of the cinnamon sugar layer and spread out gently to cover. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until set and golden brown. Make the cream cheese frosting while the bars are baking. Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until the frosting is smooth and creamy. After the bars have cooled, cover the top with cream cheese frosting. Cut into bars and serve. Have fun!
