After many years, I re-watched The Chronicles of Narnia and all I can say is CASMUND

i always really liked the idea of Narnian courting rituals and telmarine courting rituals being very different, so Edmund and Caspian genuinely have no clue that they're both courting each other.

like,

Edmund rips off a strip of his tunic and ties it to Caspians armor.
