#the world is going to end
I understand the sentiment but I don’t agree and I think that’s pretty self-defeating. We’re part of the world; we have an obligation to ensure that it doesn’t end. Right now, that means we’ve got to hassle those who are supposed to represent us and our interests and it means we’ve got to do whatever else we can to make ourselves heard.
Not to be too fannishly silly but: your handle is based off of a guy who died without even knowing if his dying effort had accomplished anything, without knowing if his death meant something, without any assurance that he had helped defeat the Empire. We can all strive to be like Cassian and Jyn, like Bodhi Rook and Chirrut and Baze and even K-2SO; we can work our hardest and hope that we can beat this back.
And fingers crossed none of us have to die in a fiery explosion.
