Chucky headcanons: Charles finding out you are being harassed at your workplace (requested)
Warnings: Implied sexual harassment leading to assault and Chucky avenging the reader. The description of the abuser was especified by the requester.
Notes: I didn't properly proofread this cause i'm finishing writing from my phone and i don't have my translator on it. Also, this is the first male reader request i got and i hope i'm doing it justice :) My inspiration for this were bits of the series and the Curse deleted scene where Chucky kills Daniel. Despite being two different versions of Chucky at different points of the franchise, i found both usefull to imagine this.
-At first you were very afraid to tell Chucky of what was happening to you. You know he has volatile, violent reactions and you were afraid of what that could unleash.
-Your abuser was a coworker and it all started in little hints, jokes going a bit too far and confusing episodes that left you feeling like it all could be a misunderstanding.
-The accumulation of those ' misunderstandings' changed your perception and you started to be very afraid of being left alone with him. You were feeling constantly surveiled and terrified but the source of your fear was completely invisible to everyone arround you.
-The creepy old dude harassing you was a long term employee everyone knew. Even you were deceived by him at first, at least untill he started getting too " friendly" with you.
-Chucky perceived something was wrong. Not that you have allways been super passionate about your work, but he could tell you didn't want to go there anymore. You would allways deny every of his attempts to point out you weren't alright. He just wanted to help, but you wouldn't let him.
-He may not be the best talking about feelings, but he is very protective and he hates to see you suffering. You may think he didn't, but he realized you are terrified. He knows the signs of fear in a victim too well to not spot those.
-In the first discussions your position oscilated between denying everything and begging him not to interfere because you needed the job, but the situation kept escalating untill reaching a point of no return.
-You were supposed to pick up a few boxes from the warehouse. While you were searching for the stuff you didn't realized you were being followed inside. You ended up completely alone with your abuser and he cornered you, taking advantage of your shock, then easily overpowered you.
-That was the moment in which you knew it had to stop. As soon as you could you reached the phone to call Chucky.
-You tried to explain yourself, but couldn't get into details. All he heard clearly was your wrecked voice begging him to come pick you up.
- It was the sign he was waiting for. Not that Chucky needed any permission to do it, but he didn't want to upset you and he had been craving to step in for so long.
- Only that his intervention could have one single possible end and you were aware of it, which was the cause of your refusal. Chucky wouldn't just scare him, he was not going to let the job unfinished.
- He had killed for way less, you could be sure he was 100% ready to get revenge in your name.
-By that moment he was aware. He has passed by your workplace a few times and had seen the dude. You wouldn't have to tell him anything for him to spot your " friendly " coworker is a creep, he could smell it from a mile away.
- Chucky has been stalking the place behind your back, learning his schedule and following him outside to figure out his after work habits. He had it in mind all along.
- " Don't worry, I'm coming for ya." He interrupted your rambling on the phone with macabre excitement. " ... I got you, let me handle it."
-You stoicly endured the rest of your shift with the only comfort of knowing he would show up, but it was taking too long.
- He was going after your abuser, following him out. They already knew each other and he wouldn't suspect of anything when approached.
- During the last moments of his life he made him experience the exact kind of powerlessness he made you feel. Chucky utilized his trusting appearance to deceive him into keeping a lower guard, followed him like a shadow and cornered him in a spot where no one could hear him.
- " This goes for (y/n). Did you think you were gonna get away with it, you piece of shit? Is that what gets you going? " He mockfully asked him ríght after the first stab. " Well this is what gets ME going and you ain't messing with him anymore"
- The lifeless body of your attacker was still in the trunk of his car when he arrived to pick you up.
- It was his surprise for you and that night you helped him dump it in the river.
Jake occasionally forgets that he's quite a bit larger than everyone else until he gets close to them physically. He could be talking to Lexi while he's sitting down and not bat an eye. However, if they're both standing up, he wouldn't be able to pay attention since all he could see is that his shadow completely covers her.
Activities – What are their favorite things to do with you?
The pretty obvious one is he loves to kill with you. He doesn't really plan his murders, so he likes to actually hunt down the victims and kill them with you. Or sometimes he'll settle for just going on walks or watching a movie with you.
Boo! – How do they feel about surprises, giving and receiving?
He doesn't like giving surprises. If he's going to do something or get you something, he's usually going to tell you. He does find it cute when you try to surprise him though.
Comfort – How do they comfort you when you’re upset?
Pretty much by not making jokes at your expense and the occasional hug. If you're in a really bad mood, he'll even cuddle with you, which is rare for him.
Dance – Do they like to dance with you? How good of a dancer are they?
He will never dance and never wants to learn how to. He does like watching you dance though....
Excitement – How do they act when they’re excited? What excites them?
He's like a child on Christmas if something excites him a lot. What gets him excited changes all the time and is never consistent though.
Future – What are their plans for the future? Do they see themselves getting married, having kids?
He doesn't really want to get married but he might if you pressure him into it. He wouldn't mind kids, but mostly because they would make it harder for you to leave him. And he kinda wants a kid to continue his legacy.
Gifts – What do they give you as presents? How often do they get you gifts?
Surprisingly, he loves to give you flowers. If you have a favorite flower, expect to see it often.
Hold – How do they hold you?
He doesn't like to hug or cuddle a lot, he's just not a touchy-feely kind of guy. But when he's in the mood, he likes to have you lay on his chest. He'll also spoon if you want to, but only if he's the big spoon.
Ideal – What’s their ideal date like?
If you're into it, his ideal date is literally killing someone. If you don't like that or just aren't in the mood, he'll usually just put on a bad movie so you two can make fun of it.
Jealousy – Do they get jealous easily? How do they handle it?
He gets jealous extremely easily. If you ask him to, he'll try not to act upon it. But if you don't care, then he will not restrain himself from disposing of anyone who looks at you the wrong way.
Kisses – How do they like to kiss you? How frequently do you kiss?
He loves to kiss your neck when you're alone together. If others are around, he'll usually just give you a chaste kiss on the lips. He kisses you all the time and never hesitates to bombard you with kisses.
Love – How do they show you that they love you?
By telling you. He loves to tell you how much he loves you and how he'll never leave you. Of course, if you don't respond or if you hesitate too long, he just might get mad....
Melt – What do you do that absolutely makes them melt?
Whatever your hobby is, he loves to just watch you do it. If you sing, he'll listen to you sing forever. If you draw, he'll pose for your sketchs. And so on and so forth. It helps him realize not only how safe you feel around him because you can let your gaurd down so much, but also helps boost his massive ego.
Nicknames – What do they call you, and what are their favorite things to be called?
He isn't really big on using pet names but will absolutely melt inside if you use one on him. He likes to be called sweet things because it reminds him that you think he's sweet enough to love (despite him being a little bitch sometimes).
Obvious – How obvious do they make it that they like you?
He is incredibly possesive of you and jealous for you. He doesn't necessarily try to control you, but if someone even tries to hit on or compliment you, they'll probably "disappear" mysteriously. To him, this is the ultimate show of love.
Pets – Do they have pets? Do they want them?
He doesn't really like cats because he finds them annoying, but he doesn't mind dogs. He wouldn't be opposed to any pet you might get/already have, but he won't exactly beg you for one.
Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?
Surprisingly, he enjoys calm moments with you almost as much as the chaotic ones. Sometimes, he'll even go out of his way just to have the two of you in the same room, calmly doing your own thing.
Romance – How romantic are they?
Surprisingly romantic. Likes to take baths with you and buys you flowers a lot. Absolutely loves spending time with you and would kill anyone for you. Just don't ever ask him to be the little spoon.
Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?
He's a big believer in verbal reassurance. If you can prove to him that you're trustworthy, then he pretty believes your every word. So when he's feeling insecure or jealous, he loves to hear you tell him that you won't leave him and how much you love him.
Tend – How do they act when you’re hurt or sick?
He'll try to help somewhat but usually lets you handle it yourself. He'll give you space if you need it or will bring you food and the like sometimes, but for the actual healing process, he's somewhat absent. This is largely because he has faith in you that you can take care of yourself.
Unique – What’s an unusual thing about them that’s oddly charming?
He probably has an insane sweet tooth, so he bakes from time to time. If you ask nicely, he'll let you help and the two of you will share the reward when done.
Variety – Do they prefer to keep things the same, or spice it up?
He's a huge believer in variety. If things stay the same for too long, he gets bored very easily. Expect him to be throwing new variables at you all the time.
Wash – What’s it like taking a bath with them?
Very calming. Often times he'll just relax with you, doing things like cleaning your hair and massaging your scalp. But he'll expect you to return the favor and wash his.
XO – How do they show you affection? How much PDA are they willing to show?
He shows his love in two ways: giving you things and showering you in kisses. He loves giving you (somewhat inexpensive) things he steals from his victims and will often buy you flowers. He also love to kiss your neck and face. How much PDA he shows depends on his mood and who you're around.
Yearn – What do they do when they miss you?
He gets really angry when you're not around. He refuses to acknowledge that you have such a stong hold on him, but people can tell he misses you when he starts breaking things.
Zzz – How do they act when they get sleepy? How is it sleeping in the same bed?
When he gets sleepy, he's out. He gets cranky when he's tired. Sleeping in the same bed with him is a bit of a challenge since he hogs the bed and blankets and rarely cuddles.
My new head canon is that the one constant amongst every Chucky variant (aside from the whole, y’know, killing thing) is that he cares about and wants the best for his kids, and each different Chucky shows his ‘love’ in a different way.
The Colonel delivers long-winded ‘motivational’ speeches to encourage them, with the topics ranging from the best/most sneaky ways to kill people to the benefits of pouring milk in the bowl before cereal, and he assigns them an extensive reading list each to expand their minds and make them ‘ready for anything’.
It’s similar with Buff Chucky because in my mind he doesn’t really get the whole touchy-feely thing, he ‘loves’ his kids the way a bird shoves their chick out the nest and hopes it’ll fly, and he makes the twins run countless laps and partake in gruelling workouts to build up their strength - he doesn’t say that he loves or even likes the twins, but they know he cares because every time they fail he’ll sigh and say something like “you need to be better”.
Nica!Chucky is pretty much like canon, vibing and having a great time, he wants Glen and Glenda to kill people and if push comes to shove he’ll force them into it but he mostly just goofs around with them.
Good Chucky is the most adorable one in regards to this head canon, because he is just a sweetheart before normal Chucky breaks through - he’s baking cookies with the twins, he’s making them friendship bracelets, he’s even drawing them little pictures (tapping into his artistic abilities as a human).
TLDR: In my head canon, Chucky genuinely cares about his kids, and each version of him showcases this affection in their own weird ways.
Edit: For this head canon I like to imagine an alternate ending to Season 2 where all the Chuckies survive and they just sort of come together and decide on a co-parenting shared custody arrangement regarding the twins (they both point out that they’re adults but the Chuckies are having none of it) so now the twins just bounce around to a different Chucky’s house every month - it’s a weird situation, but hey, what can you do when your dad is loads of people at once?

Thomas Hewitt:
He would be real concerned when he found the items.
It isn't like you to hide something from him, so he was curious about what you were hiding under the bed. He had seen you push it under the bed the day before. It couldn't be anything bad, right?
You weren't thinking of hurting him, were you? No, you couldn't be. He wouldn't believe it. He did want to ask what it was about though.
When you tell him that you have killed people he feels almost relieved. He was always scared that he was torturing you by making him stay in this house where so many were killed by he and his family.
It might give him a little more ease to let you help him and the others with the visitors that come through, but that doesn't mean he won't make you work with Luda again. So don't get too cocky and make sure you stay safe. That's all Tommy cares about, making sure you're safe.
He'd ask that you didn't tell Hoyte about it at first, at least not for a while. He's certain Hoyte would use it against you if you ever got snappy or angry with him.
Bubba Sawyer:
He would react a lot like Tommy.
He'd just freak out a bit more.
She'd be a blubbering mess, going to you with the items in hand. Stomping and furrowing his brow. What are these? Why do you need them? Were you going to hurt him or his family? She sure hopes you weren't!
They'd calm down once you explain that you had only killed certain people and that they and their family were definitely not on your list.
If his brothers overheard they'd definitely have you help all of them with the next victim they got. Bubba would let you help but probably follow you around the majority of the hunt. Can't have you getting hurt!
OG Michael Myers:
He's conflicted when he finds it, especially if it's a knife.
He'd be a bit mad if it was a kitchen knife, thinking that you tried hiding his knife from him. Why would you do such a thing? You ought to know that's not going to stop him.
But when he grabs it he realizes it isn't the one he was using. It didn't feel like it, and it was cleaner. So, he finds his, compares them, and contemplates what the hell is going on.
He confronts you. Dropping the knife in your lap and tilting his head. He needs an answer.
When you do answer him he's almost relieved. Not that he found the story behind the mysterious knife, but just knowing that you can take care of yourself. It's partially exciting to the younger Myers, and he might even test your strength in the future.
He's not doing anything about it now though. Only nodding and walking off again.
Unlike Tommy and Bubba, you can't help him hunt. He'd hate every moment of it. He'd be worried, and annoyed, and it wouldn't be as good of a release for him. It's not happening.
HK Michael Myers:
He's pretty much the same as OG Myers.
He's just more relieved because now he doesn't have to worry about you being hurt while he's away. Whether it be because he got caught by Loomis, or just because he's out hunting.
He's also going to use your knife here or there. No reason, it's just a nice knife. Basic, sharp, and affective.
RZ Michael Myers:
He is a mix of OG and HK.
Instead of using your knife for no reason though, he's using it because he feels like he's bringing you with him. He would never do such a thing, but it feels like having you with him and that's all that he wants.
If you have a mask expect him to make you some more based on what your mask looks like. He likes being able to make you masks.
Vincent Sinclair:
He's a little shocked when he finds the items.
The weapons don't bug him, he knows that you wouldn't hurt him or his brothers, it's the mask that would bug him. Why would you want to hide your face? He loves the way that you look. The ability to see your smile, the wrinkles beside your eyes with your laugh, the flaws on your cheeks and nose. It's near angelic - and hypocritical since he hates taking his mask off for you.
He's never seen you with it on though, so, what's it for?
He asks you about it with caution. He knows if you haven't shown it to him it was probably something personal to you. He just stumbled across it though. It's not like he snooped through your items. He was looking for something of his own when he came across it.
He is a lot more curious when he finds out that you used to be a masked killer yourself. Intrigued, even.
'How many?' 'Who were they?' 'How'd you kill them?' He would sign, asking you all of these questions with more and more interest.
Once you answered everything, he'd feel his heart swelling. He'd be so relieved to know that you aren't being tortured by having to live with the fact that he and his brothers murder innocent people.
It truly brings a new meaning to the many times you had told him that the killing never bothered you.
Lester Sinclair:
He's confused, to say the least. Especially if it was a knife that you were using. Especially if the knife happened to be a hunting knife.
He knows what all of his knives look like. So, he knows for a fact he had never seen this one before. It was a surprise for him and took him a few seconds to realize that it was probably yours.
He asks you about it, brows furrowed. "What's this 'bout, sweet pea?"
You can tell he's a bit lost, so you just chuckle a bit. The sound brings Lester a bit of ease before you nervously or proudly state what you had used it for. It all depends on if you feel guilty about what you had done.
If you're nervous about it, he'd reassure you that there isn't nothing wrong with what you did. He'd stand up for you and reassure you that the people you killed probably had what was coming.
If you were confident when telling him the reason behind the knife. Oh. Oh. That sure does things to the shorter brother.
He'd be smiling at you without even noticing. His fingers twitching and curling by his side.
"Wow, ya really got some power to ya, huh?" He'd love the thought of you killing someone with a hunting knife. The fantasy would live rent-free in his head. If you requested to kill one of the tourists in town Lester would even let you do it in a heart beat. As long as he could watch.
Bo Sinclair:
He is super hesitant when he finds the items. Maybe even a little upset. Why would you hide something from him?
He asks you about it with furrowed brows. Slamming the items on the surface in front of you, or pushing them into your chest(without hurting you.)
You'd get the hint that he's irritated about finding them. Why? You're still a bit lost until he asks why you hid them from him.
"I don't do that stuff anymore. I don't kill people." "Then why ya still got the shit?"
He has a point. If you didn't do it anymore, why did you still have the stuff?
It didn't really matter to you, but it did to Bo. After he got over himself and lost the anger he felt knowing yo would hide something like this from him. He'd be asking you a bunch of questions as well. Maybe even trying to agitate you and see if you still had that spark in you. See if you'd threaten him or maybe help him kill someone new in town.
Otis Driftwood:
He's got a similar reaction to Bo. He's pissed when he finds the stuff.
"What the hell is this shit? Y'ain't trust me enough so ya gotta hide whatever the fuck this shit is? Who'd it belong to? An ex of yours?" He'd ask, anger written everywhere on the killer's face.
Once you told him that it was yours he'd calm down a bit, but still be a little upset. Until it finally processed that you've killed people before.
He's demanding you tell him every detail and winds up asking if you'd help him with his current idea that he couldn't quite complete because it was missing details. Killer to killer, he needed input.
It makes sense to him now why you didn't find the morbidness of his house disturbing. Along with his family. Or even himself.
He's wondering if he could get you to kill again. There's nothing hotter to Otis than seeing his s/o covered in blood. It'd definitely be something that would turn him on to the max each time he saw it.
Baby Firefly:
She'd confront you with it right away, but would be a little more sad than mad. Upset that you wouldn't fill her in on one of your darker secrets when she's an open book to you.
She's thrilled to hear that you've killed people before and glad that you trust her enough to tell her and not lie about the items.
She wants you to help the family with the next set of victims they get. If you want to, at least. If not, that's fine with her as well. You can just keep doing what you're doing. Which is helping her make them think you are all normal.
She also finds it ridiculously hot that you have killed people before, but she'd never force you to do it again. If anything, it makes her feel like you two belong together more than anything.
Tiffany Valentine:
She knows what the items are, and it excites her.
"I knew it, I knew you've killed someone before. Come here, sugar!" She'd wrap you in a hug and kiss you. This is like discovering you're secretly a celebrity or something.
Which, it kind of is if your killings made it into the newspaper. She is searching for the article after you tell her about it. She will get it framed if she has to.
She's asking for photos if you have any. Every little morbid detail of the kill and the thought process you put into it.
If you ask her how she knew, she'd smile and say, "I just did. A lot of us killers never brag about killing. The quiet secretive people like you. Oh, they have."
She's making Swedish Meatballs for supper after this news.
Charles Lee Ray:
He's a little confused when he finds the weapon and mask. He kills with a knife, and if it's something other than a knife. Well, he's stumped.
He asks you about it and is a little starstruck when you tell him what's up.
"I never thought you were that type of person." He'd tell you, but his stupid, menacing grin would appear on his face.
He'd ask you to tell him how you killed the people you killed. Reenact the scene for him. Then he'd request that you help him kill his next victim. It'd be an honor.
He might get a little snappy if you do something he doesn't like if you agree. But God. He's all hot and heavy when he sees you take the life of someone. Covered in blood, adrenaline running.
He's definitely taking advantage of the situation and getting you in bed one way or another that night. That had to be one of the hottest things he'd seen.
Billy Loomis:
"You what?"
He's baffled when you tell him that you've killed people after he confronted you about the items.
This brings a whole to meaning to your guys' relationship. Yes, he loves having Stu as a partner in crime, but you? His s/o? You've killed people? Gosh, he might have you join the two of them on their Ghostface extravaganza.
He's asking you to tell him how you did it and smiling throughout all the details.
If you tell him that the person you killed was someone that you knew, he's groaning and fighting the urge to pin you where you are.
This has to be the most interesting thing he's learned about you.
He's definitely asking that you don't keep any more secrets like this from him, ever.

If anything, this guy is more relieved than anything. I mean, he was worried you would hate him after you found out. Now it all makes sense why you never ran or screamed, or even looked worried when you found out that he was the killer running around campus.

He's practically drooling over the thought that his perfect partner is a scary killer.
It truly makes him feel closer and more understood by you.

His sweet nanny, a killer? Well, this is new.
It doesn't really scare him or anything. Brahms trusts you and hopes that you wouldn't do anything bad to him.
If anything it makes him feel safer, more justified, and more understood.
He wants you to be safe, and he knows that he's always there with you. Whether it be by you or roaming the house, it makes him feel better knowing that you can definitely take care of yourself.
He requests that you don't go out killing, but if someone intrudes, then you can.
Junior Wheeler finding out he has a younger half-sister headcanons
This just spiraled out of control from a random idea and then it grew more and more so here we are! I just had to write this as a set of headcanons or I would combust. It did take months to write this due to lack of motivation but I finally did it! If you guys like this, please tell me! Summary: After surviving from being stabbed by a killer doll, Junior thought nothing could surprise him. Then they found out that he had a half-sister, a product from Logan Wheeler’s affair. And somehow, Junior’s life changes for the better once they become a big brother.

~Junior Wheeler was almost 16 years old when he found out about their father’s former mistress and child.
~After surviving his stab wound, Junior started to get better. They opened himself up more, made amends and became better friends with Jake, Devon, and Lexy, got therapy, and explored their identity and who he truly was. They truly were in a good place.
~And then Junior happened to meet a woman named Harper Murphy.
~Harper never knew that Logan Wheeler was married and had a teenage son. She had only found that out on the news after his body had been discovered due to the “mysterious” massacre that happened in Hackensack.
~Harper felt so guilty now knowing that she had been the other woman, even producing a child with a married man, that she tried for over a year to find Junior to explain herself.
~And that’s exactly what she tried to do when she showed up on his doorstep by herself.
~It was safe to say that Junior didn’t react well.
~They were already shaking with rage upon finding out that his father DID in fact cheat on their mom, but hearing that he now had a half-sister made them force her to leave before he could explode.
~Jake thankfully had been there to be the voice of reason and took the slip of paper that had Harper’s phone number because Junior refused to take it.
~For a couple weeks, Junior wasn’t themself.
~He was prone to snapping more and refused to talk about their father’s mistress and child to anyone, including his friends, girlfriend, caretaker, and therapist. Their anger was starting to get almost out of control because of how much he was now bottling up.
~It was when Junior got a week’s worth of detention for throwing his textbook at the head of a classmate that was bothering them when Jake finally forced his cousin to sit down and talk it over.
~There were many things that Junior was angry about. One, their father actually being a cheater and having a whole other family. Two, the fact that the other woman was much younger than his mother. And three, that Chucky was right in a way about their father having an affair.
~By now, Junior knew about Chucky’s manipulation. He was used as a pawn in his game, manipulated into believing that their mom killed herself and his father cheated on her, leading to her suicide and causing them to kill his father. Junior now knew what really happened to her.
~But finding out about this affair has led Junior into hating the fact that Chucky was right about something.
~Jake was able to be there and reassure Junior, somehow even convincing them to call Harper and hear her full side of the story.
~So after two weeks, Junior gave in and had Jake call her—because he didn’t have it in them to call her herself without losing it again, so he needed the calmer of the two cousins to make the phone call.
~When Harper came by, once again alone, it was a meeting between her, Junior, Jake, and their caretaker. Junior couldn’t be trusted to be left alone, so they were with him in case their temper decided to strike again.
~It did happen a few times throughout Harper’s story, leading Junior to get up and “take a lap”, which included storming angrily around the house once or twice until he was calm enough to sit down and listen again.
~Some reasons that caused Junior to “take a lap” was when he found out that Harper was 21 years old and still at college when she met their father, when he found out that she was 27 now and that made her only 11 years older than them and he was 11 years older than her daughter, and even when Harper told them about how Logan isolated her from her parents to the point where she only had her daughter and occasionally his father whenever he felt like visiting.
~Knowing just how much of a manipulative piece of shit their father was made Junior want to explode. But he could see how weary and anxious Harper looked so they forced himself to be as calm as they could…which wasn’t a lot but it was the thought that counts.
~It was much harder when Harper brought up the topic of her daughter, Eden.
~Junior didn’t want to know about her. Whether it was because she was the product of his father’s affair or another connection that bound them to the man they wanted so desperately to forget, he didn’t know at the moment. They just absolutely didn’t want to know about her or see a picture when Harper offered.
~Jake took her up on that offer though and looked at the picture of his new five year old cousin on Harper’s phone. Junior kept his back turned as Jake complimented Eden, attempting to persuade Junior to look with each thing she said.
~He did capture Junior’s attention by one thing only.
~“She looks nothing like her father.”
~For some reason, that was enough for Junior to finally peer over Jake’s shoulder and look at the picture of their half-sister.
~Eden was a carbon copy of her mother, with dark brown hair and vibrant blue eyes. The more Junior stared at her, the more he realized that she truly didn’t look like Logan.
~Seems that their father had another child that looked exactly like their mother and not him.
~Maybe the Wheeler genes were a lot weaker than he expected.
~“…she’s cute, I guess.”
~But during that meeting, Junior didn’t agree to wanting to see their half-sister. He didn’t know if they had it in him to see her in person.
~It took more persuasion and another week until Junior was the one to call Harper and set up a meeting.
~They did emphasize that he most likely wouldn’t want to have a relationship with Eden but he figured that they should meet her, just once.
~In a way, Junior figured that this was something his mother would want them to do. She was a good woman with a big heart, she would want him to at the very least meet their half-sister, especially if she knew Harper’s story and how she was also a victim in Logan’s manipulation.
~Junior was absolutely nervous to meet Eden. He hardly slept and ate during the days leading up to the meeting, riddled with so much anxiety that it started to affect them physically.
~When they finally met, Junior didn’t know how to act.
~Eden was obviously shy, clinging to her mother’s arm but staring at her half-brother with curiosity. And Junior was trying to function in a way that was considered calm because while he didn’t know if they would like her or not, he still didn’t want to frighten her.
~After a couple minutes of staring, Junior finally gathered the courage to speak.
~“Hi.”
~“Hi.”
~“I’m Junior.”
~“I’m Eden.”
~“Cool.”
~“Cool.”
~Then Eden smiled at them.
~Junior couldn’t quite explain it. But something in her smile was so sweet and so genuine, that he melted and fell under her spell.
~Junior began to slowly open themself up more and the more he did, the more they realized that there wasn’t a single trace of their father in her. She wasn’t like Logan at all. Eden was shy, sweet, kind, polite, and so much more, all the complete opposite of Logan.
~Eventually the two siblings were trusted enough to be left alone and they spent the rest of the day watching a Disney movie together, The Little Mermaid, Eden’s favorite that also happened to be Junior’s favorite.
~When it was time for them to go, Eden gave them the biggest hug and Junior came to the realization that this couldn’t be the first and last time he’ll ever meet her. They had to see her again, to get to know her more.
~It was something he made known to Harper and the rest of their family.
~“I’ve only known Eden for a few hours…but if anything happened to her, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.”
~“…I know you’re basically quoting B99 but it actually sounds terrifying when you say it.”
~After that, Junior and Eden became inseparable.
~They did just about everything together. They watched movies, listened to music, and went to the park and zoo a lot.
~Most of the movies were Disney movies, so it involved a lot of singing and dancing from both of them.
~Eden became fascinated with Junior’s guitar and would beg him to play for her all the time. They always obliged and eventually, he let her hold the guitar.
~The sight was absolutely adorable because their guitar looked so much bigger than her, but Eden was holding it to her chest with a big smile.
~Junior lost count over how many times he took her to the park. They always pushed her on the swings and would hold her hand if she was too nervous to go down a steep slide.
~Junior also spends so much money on Eden whenever they go to the gift shop at the zoo. He just couldn’t say no to her.
~Over time, they stopped calling her his half-sister. Eden was Junior’s sister. No half of anything.
~Eden doing their makeup and nails was always a must.
~Junior sometimes did his own makeup and painted their nails, but always let Eden do whatever she wanted. Her technique was sloppy when it came to the nail polish and he looked like a mess with the amount of eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick she would put on them.
~But it was always fun and worth it to let Eden doll him up because of the big smile she would get on her face.
~The amount of photos of Eden and Junior together on Junior, Lexy, Jake, Devon, and Harper’s phones are enough to fill up ten scrapbooks.
~A month after they met, Junior turned 16. Eden made tons of pictures of the two of them together, all of which are hung up on his wall, and even a friendship bracelet.
~They never take that bracelet off.
~Piggy back rides happened hundreds of times.
~Junior constantly has Eden on his back and she just clings onto them while he’s walking or running.
~Sometimes they’ll carry her in his arms too, especially when she falls asleep.
~Or have her thrown over their shoulder like she was a sack of potatoes.
~All of these actions would leave Junior sore but her big smile and hysterical giggles were always worth it.
~He’s lost count over how often they’ve played Princess with Eden.
~Junior would admit, he enjoyed partially wearing a pink dress that certainly didn’t fit with a plastic crown on their head, despite the teasing he would get sometimes.
~“Oh…my…god.”
~“Don’t be jealous that I make a prettier princess than you do, Jacob.”
~Junior has tons of nicknames for Eden.
~The most popular are Edie, Eeds, Darling, Pumpkin, Sweetness, and Sweetheart.
~Eden doesn’t have a lot of nicknames for Junior except for just a few, which are all variations of their name.
~Jun, Junie, JJ, and her absolute favorite, Juna.
~No one is allowed to call Junior Juna except Eden.
~Jake made that mistake once and found out what it felt to be stomped on his bare foot by Junior’s strong boot.
~When Halloween rolls around, they do matching costumes. Eden insisted and as Junior has shown many times, he just can’t say no to her.
~They also take her to the houses that have the best and biggest candies.
~It’s no secret how close they are. The others have joked about Eden being Junior’s “mini me” or “shadow.”
~He’d be lying if they said that he didn’t like it. It was absolutely adorable how much she wanted to be like them. But he still encouraged her to be her own person and how she didn’t need to like everything that they liked.
~He didn’t want her growing up the way they did, willing to change everything about himself and mold themself into another version of his father.
~It would just fill her with emptiness and resentment and she sure as hell didn’t deserve that. Eden deserved to be happy and loved for being the way she was.
~Junior learned how to braid hair for their sister.
~It took some practice with Lexy and a couple others but eventually, he got it down enough to do all kinds of braids on Eden.
~Eden would also braid their hair since Junior had been growing it out so the tips of his hair now touched their shoulders.
~Her technique wasn’t as good, pretty sloppy with quite a bit of hair pulling, but she was five years old after all.
~And Junior did think he looked quite cute in braids.
~Junior tries their hardest not to swear around Eden…
~…but fails constantly.
~“Ow! Fuck!”
~“Fuck!”
~“NONONONONONONONO—!”
~Music was something that was always playing in Junior’s room. It helped not only to relax him, but also to inspire them to write his own music.
~It didn’t take long for them to realize that Eden loved rock and heavy metal music.
It was both cute and disturbing for those watching a child screaming “DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS” in a high-pitched voice while aggressively head banging while her teenage brother did the exact same thing.
~While Junior always had fun with Eden, there was always a sense of fear that never left him.
~Chucky.
~They lived in terror that one day Chucky could come back because he just knew that that fucker would never truly die.
~And it scared them to know what could happen if Chucky came back and found out about the little sister of the teenager he didn’t manage to kill.
~The most Junior could do without telling Eden the full story about Chucky was to make her promise him that she would not play with that doll and would call them immediately if it ever showed up.
~“Darling, I need you to promise me something. If a Good Guy doll like that ever comes to your house, you tell your mom to call me and…say you want to play with dolls with me. Okay? That doll isn’t good, it’s bad. So you need to tell me IMMEDIATELY and I’ll make sure it goes away. Pinkie promise?”
~“Pinkie promise, Juna!”
~Junior hardly had any regrets about killing his father.
~What they regretted was how he unknowingly helped with Chucky’s plan, used as a pawn in his game.
~When they met Eden, he started to feel some more regret because their little sister would grow up never knowing their father. Even now, the memories she has of him are basically blips of a dream because she was only 3 years old when she last saw him.
~But Junior becomes confident in the decision that he made when Harper confided in them about how Logan would be controlling over how Eden should dress or act.
~His sister was a pink dress wearing girl that could be rowdy and enjoyed getting dirty. The latter were things that Logan didn’t want a girl to be doing.
~It was only a matter of time before their father would start controlling and manipulating her as she grew older.
He’d try to control her just like he controlled Junior.
~So it was better for Eden growing up with little to no memories of an emotionally abusive man.
~Junior truly is a chaotic soul. There’s no level to their chaos. So it didn’t take long for his chaos to rub off on Eden.
~They would pull pranks together on everyone. Especially Jake. He was their favorite victim.
~“Don’t be such a baby, Jake!”
~“Yeah! Don’t be such a baby, Jake!”
~“Hey! Stop corrupting my kid cousin!”
~Really, their combined chaos cannot be stopped.
~“I’m begging you two…please just be good.”
~“We would rather die.”
~“Die! Die! Die!”
~Junior knows that one day, they would have to explain almost everything to Eden, such as why they’re half siblings.
~She wouldn’t understand everything now because she’s too young. So far, Eden’s content just knowing that she has a brother now and doesn’t need to know the details just yet.
~That’s something he’ll worry about another day. Right now, they would rather enjoy being by her side and being her protector.
~Speaking of protector, lord help anyone who tries to bully Eden.
~“Junior, you can’t physically fight a kindergartener.”
~“Like hell! My hands are rated E for EVERYONE!”
~Junior did once catch a little boy pushing Eden at the park and he scared the kid so badly by threatening him that the boy peed his pants.
~Eden thought it was absolutely hilarious and it made her feel a lot better about being pushed.
~Junior was glad that it made her feel better too, but they still wanted Eden to defend herself.
~“Eeds, if someone ever pushes you again...push them back. Hit them. Make them regret it. Just don’t tell your mom I said that, okay?”
~“Okay! Can we get ice cream now?”
~“Yeah, sure, let’s go get ice cream.”
~Their personalities are both very similar yet different.
~Junior and Eden are both introverted and then chaotic and mischievous to those who get to know them. But Junior prefers to only open himself up to their closest friends and family while Eden opens herself up fairly quickly to anyone who is nice to her.
~Eden’s kindness makes Junior want to be a better person. She has a heart of gold and sees the good in everyone, the complete opposite of her brother.
~He could only hope that no one ever tarnishes her light.
~Christmas was always a hard holiday for Junior without their mother. It was something he didn’t expect would ever change.
~Until they spent his first Christmas with Eden.
~Seeing her give them badly wrapped gifts—Harper told him that Eden insisted on wrapping them herself—with the biggest smile on her face made Junior forget about how much the holiday pained them.
~Sitting with his new family in front of the fireplace, stomach filled to the brim with food, exchanging stories with Eden sleeping peacefully on their lap with her head on his chest put things into perspective for them for the first time in a long time.
~In the end, he found the peace and happiness they had been looking for so long.
