Neo in volumes 6 and 7
I havent scene any posts yet about the sasuke and itachi reference with Cinders backstory, and i dont know whos the bigger loser, me for getting it, or crewby for making it
hot take before the new rwby episode comes out *no spoilers*
You know how miscommunication, distrust, and self interest are straining RWBY+?
I think those same issues are gunna really fuck up Salem’s henchmen and plan.
1. Tyrian and Watts- both are still the only ones 100% down to clown with Salem. However Watts has some serious personal beef in Atlas and while Tyrian is all for Salem and her plans, Watts might just ditch the plan in order to get revenge Salem probably promised him. Which is not good for Salem. Plus if Tyrian sees Ruby, he might want some revenge too.
2. Hazel, Mercury and Emerald-All three have already made it clear they aren’t 100% with Salem anymore and are fearful. All three are more damaged than evil and don’t have much of a stake with Salem. Hazel might have gotten back some of the hope he lost now that he has these troubled teens in his care/watch. Ozpin did mention that Hazel is a broken man, perhaps he has new purpose? And Emerald and Mercury have been ready to dip since Cinder ‘died’. They just don’t want to because of fear and the fact there is no where to go.
3. Cinder and Neo-Both of them have been abandoned by Salem and Salem especially is not really for Cinder anymore. If Cinder tries to insert herself in her plan or fucks it up then this may be the last season with Cinder. Plus Neo is only doing this because she believes Ruby killed Roman. If Ruby tells her the truth, that it was a Grimm, and that Roman told her he only joined Cinder + out of fear, then Neo may shift attention toward Cinder instead.
4. Emerald and Cinder- Em is gunna be head over heels for Cinder if she sees her. Cinder will be either indifferent or hit her for failing her. Which will either push Em away, or make her believe what Merc said, or she’ll fall back in line with Cinder and ditch Salem/drop the plan. And by extension Merc as well.
5. Emerald and Mercury-Mercury will probably not care Cinder’s back and be wary of her. Plus I imagine if Cinder jumps back on her bs and hits Emerald and yells at them, then he may snap and switch sides. Or at the very least leave Cinder to perish/fight her to keep Em away.
And yeah, that’s my thinking. What ya’ll think?
Episode 13 summary:
It’s going down,
I’m yelling CINDERRRRRRR
RWBY FINALE GOT ME LIKE:
Yang and Cinder: "The Ancient Art of the Bitch Slap"
Now, after the long journey with Cinder being a constant thorn int heir sides, Yang had the woman before her. And honestly, looking at the haughty, entitled, idiot made Yang feel something that she had never felt before.
She was utterly disinterested in someone that once had filled her with rage. Walking up to her, she found herself reflecting on something her uncle had taught her, something she'd only done to one person ever before. Instead of punching her lights out, she introduced her to the back of her hand as she strode pass. Not even her flesh and blood hand, it was her metal hand, and without any power to it.
Without her aura, Cinder folded like a house of cards, but Yang didn't care, which stung worse. Not that the blonde gave it a second thought, she had a sister to find.
Cinder fall?
MORE LIKE CINDER FELL
BYE PRINCE(SS) ZUKO! I mean… does she not look like him? The burns and scarring around the eye are highly similar. Also, haha! Raven [kills?] her the exact same way Cinder tried to incapacitate her. What wonderful irony.
But as I’ve said, this fight was spectacular in so many ways, and the conclusion was undoubtedly one of them. After Raven freezes Cinder’s feet so she’d have to tank a stalactite falling on her, they start jumping and slashing on giant falling rocks, until they both finally reach the ground, Auras severely taxed. Raven says Cinder has been careless not to watch her back, and Vernal plays decoy one last time, firing an easily blocked shot while Raven dashes up and destroys Cinder’s eyepatch while blasting her off the platform. And as she falls, Raven freezes her, seemingly from the inside out. But we don’t know if she’s REALLY dead, because we don’t hear the ice break, or see the Maiden powers fly off anywhere. But boy was it good to see Cinder so shocked by her utter defeat.
